Hey I found this, I don't know if anybody else found it here is the Beats Audio : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226 Has anybody tried it for our phone in CM9 I really wanted to try... I saw the comments in other sections it's working for them... and also one link here they are showing images for Beats Audio in Galaxy SL -> http://www.xda-developers.com/android/beats-audio-now-available-on-any-gingerbread-rom/
How about taking a full backup of your phone and installing CM9 and trying yourself and let us all know the results.
I have poweramp, and don't know if it work with beat audio, anyone tried or i'm the first ^_^
In my opinion beats audio really hurts the audio quality with good players like poweramp. therefore I made this little zip to help people remove it. It should work on any rom, but I take no responsibility if it doesn't (please tell me though so I can try to fix it).
To install: copy zip to root of sdcard, make a backup in CWM (recommended), then just chose zip from sdcard and flash it.
all it does is delete all the beats files and add back a few in an unmodified form.
file is attached
Nice work! We need more uninstall scripts in my opinion. So its not like all or nothing when installing add-ons and themes. Even though I don't have Beats I thank you.

thanks, I wish our roms had more options for these things upon install or something, or at least more settings like cm7 has. this was super easy to make, it just took forever since I had to type the name of every file and make sure I didn't need to replace it.
Nice. Good to see that you figured it all out...
works on galaxy ace 2th gen
i just wanted to confirm this workx on 2th gen galaxy ace (the i version)

Sorry man, I hope you took a backup. This was intended for the A2. The removal part will work on any, but there are some files that are device specific to be added back.

I am on NeoRom v 2.1 and I love it.. But as the update contained mod of Xloud and Beats audio, I cant experience anything new in yhe sound quality...
So I tried other equilizers as well like Equilizer and DSP manager..
Equilizer downloaded from market and DSP manager provided by pankaj88 sir.. But its always force closing..
Then I tried Beats audio EQ settings from market, but it was not upto the mark..
So I request someone if they can provide with the perfect Beats audio EQ settings..
I want my R to have sound effects like HTC one X..

No one can give you perfect EQ settings buddy. The EQ settings are normally determined by your taste i.e. what type of music you like & the medium used to listen to it.
eg Assume you are a bass head and you want your speakers to output more bass, in that case you just amp up the lower frequencies in the EQ to get it to the level you want.
The best way would be to test different EQ settings & finally settle with one which is of your taste.
BTW do you know which sound chip does HTC One X use?
Hmmm.. Ill try that..
I dont know which chip is used.. My friend has bought it.. Ill check and let you know..

Hi,
Some people have ported Beats Audio, xLoud and Mobile Bravia Engine to several of the android phones.
Is it possible to port it to Atrix 2?
Will it really increase the performance?
There are several methods available online..
(A simple google search will show the results... I am not able to post the links as i am a new member)
Have anyone tried it??
Any senior members willing to try this?
-----------------------
P.S:- This is not a Q&A post.. This is meant for discussion of a general topic.

I have installed Beats Audio and it works fine, yes it does increase audio performance. To install Beats Audio you need to root your phone.
I haven't tried xloud and bravia, so I cant comment on that.

For the love of everything even remotely good in life, do not do this. Beats audio and really any other mod are TERRIBLE and degrade audio quality. if what you want is something that drives the base hard and washes everything else out, I suppose it does a damn good job, but it kills audio quality. If you want good performance, buy some decent headphones, nothing less than $100 or so, but you don't need anything crazy, and get a good player with an equalizer like poweramp.

I have never used it, but obviously none of these can change the hardware of the phone, they are basically fancy equalizers. All equipment is different, and that is the main point to equalizers (not to adjust sound for the type of music, the recordings are mixed how the producer intended, but to adjust for different listening hardware. for example, small headphones often need more bass volume to sound good, while large speakers might lack on the low to mid end.) That said, some of these enhancements might improve quality on the device they are intended for, as they can change what is needed to get good sound there.
You can try any of these, and see what you think, as everyone has different tastes, but to get the best quality sound, I would still recommend high quality listening gear, and a good equalizer you can play with to get the sound you want.
I mostly listen with ER6i in ear headphones, which are noise isolating (not electronic canceling), so they block a lot of sound, and have really good quality for in ear headphones. They don't make the same ones any more, but they were around $100, so I'm sure there is a replacement model. I use Poweramp as my player, and it has a 10 band EQ that I tweaked for my headphones to sound best.
Well i have installed all of these and my audio is better..performance is better. From my point of view..it doesnt hurt anything.

Shame on you! Difference of opinion I guess, but my guess is it is still the same as the tv store effect. the brighter the better seeming at fist glance.
Anyways, always feel free to try things out, but make sure you know how to remove them. I made a beats remover that is in the general section somewhere, but they might have updated since then, so no guaranty that it will work.
Beats audio thing was just a screw up. It made the audio quality bad for me. I tried Acid audio engine which worked fine. It did boost the audio quality for me a lil bit !
bravia engine link plz
plz past the bravia engine link
becoz which i found is having some user specific issues
so plz upload the link or bravia engine

HTC no longer owns the BEATS company. Thus you wont find any beats audio on HTC devices released in the recent past (& future).
Now we are provided with BoomSound which is still a good equaliser.
I'm not saying that Boomsound is the best, because I know that ViperFX is awesome. But since I dont have a stock RUU, I'm staying with stock and no root for now, so no ViperFX...
Click thanks if I helped.

What is stock RUU ?
A stock Rom to which the phone can be restored in case of issues is a RUU. I.e. it's a recovery file.
