A hip holster that doesn't look like a cheap leather EBAY item

I am looking for a holster with a belt clip that doesn't look like a cheap EBAY rip off you get for $3. It doesn't need to be leather. I just want a nice one that will fit the G2x good.

PDAir (pdair.com) makes a great one, I've used them for all my phones. They're not cheap but they're very high quality. I have one coming and will post pics.

I've owned 2 of these, 1 for my N1, and one for my Vibrant. These are good cases and are very well made. I highly recommend.

I have no experience with them yet, but went ahead and ordered one last weekend. it shipped out today and i will post as soon as i receive it.

I have two same cases for old Blackjack II from PDair. They were expensive, however they have held up well. The interior portion of the spinning clip came free from its attachment, so when it sits, it can bend at an angle, and isn't stiff. The rest of the clip and the outer part still attaches, its just isn't stiff and if I were to get it again for the G2x, I would get one with a permanent belt clip and not the spinny thing. The rest of the leather is OK and has held its shape- not too nice of a grain.

i have a pdair leather case for my old motorola xt720. It's of good quality but I don't really like the tightness of the case, but I do understand that most people would prefer having a tighter case. My concern is that they are probably selling this universal case for all phone models so it might be a bit too tight for the g2x (since my xt720 is smaller than the g2x and I was already complaining about its tightness)
quality-wise, it definitely live up to its price

I am still looking for a hip-holster leather case for this phone. I don't want to buy pdair's horizontal pouch leather case because I know it will be too tight... any more suggestions?

So I swapped my hd2 for a sensation and it really is a great phone, I want a leather sleeve style case like I got free with my hd2 but I just haven't managed to find one anywhere. I'm not old enough to want some belt loop flip top leather case just yet and I really don't want to bulk out the phone with a hard back cover.
HTC don't have anything on their website at the moment and eBay seems a nightmare for good quality stuff of late.
Any help welcome thanks guys.

Here's one on ebay. Not sure its OEM and not sure what the HD2 looks like but the "meteor" case is sold at expansys and ebay and it's just a leather sleeve.

Sena cases are the best. I have had several of their sleeves going all the way back to the g1 days.....
The sleeve fits the sensation perfect adds no bulk at all.......

why don't you take your old HD2 case?
That fits very well with the Sensation

HTC actually makes a meteor case for the sensation. I'm assuming you're in the UK or something as your hd2 came with a case. They sell the meteor case over there, they just don't sell them in the usa yet though.

i still have my old hd2's case (still brand new) .. it fits ok but the sensation is a bit taller and sticks out a bit out of the case

The sena case loins good but am wondering how is the quality. Anyone has it?

They're not worth $30. I've had them before for me and my wifes blackberries. I wouldn't recommend them for the simple fact that they're super thin and not worth $30. They're nice, just not $30 nice.

Thanks for the replies, my hd2 case isn't quite right as the sensation is taller. So frustrating I can't find a simple, clean case for sensible money. Shame HTC stopped providing the case with the phones. The hunt continues

Any positive reviews for the sena case? Looks really tempting. I am looking for a simple pouch for the sensation as well...

Best hard case for sensation 4g?

When I bought my sensation I also bought the body glove case with the belt clip but as most of you know the case was leaving indentations on the back cover. Body glove sent me a replacement but the new ones fits very loose.
So which case do you guys recommend I purchase to replace my body glove case? I prefer hard cases over the soft tpu type cases everybody likes. I also prefer that the case has some sort of rubber or leather type material on the back. I may consider the two piece slider cases if it looks nice.
So I'm open to any suggestions. I haven't seen many threads about hard cases. Please if you can post a picture as well

I ordered a set. They're snap on cases, and doesn't protect the top/bottom, also they're flimsy Just a nice looking colored mesh back cover.

I was given one of those cases (the black one) for free by the woman (in China) I bought the phone from.. I looked and saw that dude on eBay has sold 66 sets of 4 cases for $9.99 each and given free shipping to all. I figured he's made $500 from all this because the cases only cost 5RMB each (like $0.80).. good work to him.. damn I need to move to HK haha

Wait for either Otterbox or Trident to release their cases. Ive had Otterbox previously and love their work and Trident cases look badass but havent used one yet, will probably by my next purchase when their available (1-2 weeks)

Looove the tough cases by them.
Although I wanted something different because I spent a long time with one on my nexus one... time to change it up.
Was gonna go for Incipio's similar hybrid style but they dont have it yet for the sensation

Anyone know of a case like the case-mate tough case or otterbox but on a budget? Can't afford to buy a $30-$49 case right now but I want something with protection, not a tpu case.

I got one of these off ebay. For $1.79AUD delivered I am very happy. Pretty good quality really. Protects the front and back and It has all the mic holes too.
It comes with a front piece and and a back piece that clip together.

Iv used the ROCK case, nice and slips on the easiest.

Case recommendations?

I have been looking for a case for my HTC Sensation 4G.

Looks like you already have done some research on this. But based on what you want....meaning in case of an accidental drop I think out of the ones you posted, the trident one is the one I think would be the best overall case. I personally use the seidio active case with kickstand with holster and it looks great and I feel safe in not having any exposed corners to chip or bump into.

Sorry I was incorrect in mentioning the trident case, it was the case mate that I was referring to as per video in that thread.

I'm using the Seido case right now. I love it. I've had it for about 2 months now. Glad I got this one. I like the fact that when you put it in the holster the screen faces in.

I use the Otterbox commuter series, but I think I'm going to switch to the Seidio Active. I don't like the fit of the Otterbox.

I posted a video review of these cases. It compares the Trident, Seidio, and CaseMate. It's in this forum somewhere.

I LOVE this case. The only thing that bugs me is that oils from hands stays on the case, and feels a little disgusting. The other bad thing is that the opening for the micro-USB port is a little smaller than it should be.
Other than that, it's an amazing case. Very protective, sleek, doesn't collect dust, and looks good!
I'm thinking about buying the Body Glove custom fit case, which is a hard-shell case covered in soft-touch coating. At Wal-Mart for $16. Just to try it out.

Didn't see much good reviews on the body glove case.
Free case is good, but more than that I'm willing to pay of a case that will protect my $500 phone

My brother uses a Casemate Tough Case. As a rough-and-tumble kind of guy, he didn't even want to get a case for his phone until I made him, lol. So far he's dropped his phone numerous times with the case on and, I quote him, "It just bounces!. It's a pretty bulky case but if you're looking for protection, I'd recommend it.

I own CM Tough and I'm very satisfied with it,although i don't use it all the time..Dropped the phone 2 times with it on pavement(clumsy me:/) and nothing happened,even the case didn't get any scratches.Also i find it very easy wearing it in pocket,even though it is kinda robust.Compared it to some other case(dont know the brand) and i like CMT more..My vote goes to it.

I'm very satisfied with CM Tough too. It may seem a bit bulky but it still feels pretty good in my hands. It offers excellent protection and looks good too IMHO.

Personally - I prefer this case! I realize it probably doesn't suit your needs, however it suits mine and I figured I'd share what I use.

I lol'ed about the color reeking. My wife has that exact case and I can't stand looking at it. . I don't recommend the Trident though. The silicone under-layer is a loose fit, so one of the corners on the outer-layer hard shell has a tendency to dig itself under the silicone where the micro usb port is. I always end up taking the shell off and putting it back on to fix it. Annoying.
As for me, I'm using casemate tough. It's not going to win any beauty contests, but it works as advertised. It gives really great protection, fits perfectly and adds a lot of grip to the phone. It's only weakness I would say are it's boring looks. Kind of reminds me of a tire.
