I've been looking around for a fix to root this thing so that I can use another company SIM and its not working out too well and advice or another place I should check?

I have this phone T-Mobile Galaxy SIII LTE Edition SGH-T999L.
My phone is Network Locked. I did couple of things to it..like tried
the free unlocking method...by *#197328640# method...going to the ServiceMode..and all that...but no chance
Also tried flashing the T999 Modem on my T999L....but then i was getting No Connectivity+IMEI "unknown"+ "ServiceMode was Blank".
I was adviced not to flash the T999 Rom on T999L as it will brick my phone. So i sticked to the Advice and didnt flashed it.
But i need to unlock it as soon as possible...So i was searching for it...and i have seen couple of ways to unlock...like...
there are some sites who provide unlock codes or unlock softwares like this one :

Do u think i can use it to unlock my phone..by paying...?

Greetings! I need help unlocking my Samsung Galaxy S III SCH-S968C Tracphone on Verizon network running android 4.1.2
I did find a couple of postings about unlocking the AT&T version by keying in *#197328640# to the dialer, but got no response or menu.
I also found a couple of threads to root my particular model such as: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516498
but it seems that rooting in itself will not help me (I am not versed in rooting, but I did review the process using cydia impactor as posted).
Can this phone be unlocked straight-up (please...), or is rooting required and if so, how would I proceed after the initial rooting application to actually unlock the phone?

No. If you try to unlock it, it WILL hard brick.

Wow all this knowledge and this crappy Flintstone tracfone has everyone bumfuzzled.. is that why it cost 140 used? Incompatible with just about every app and game. My classic game boy had more features and accessibility than this rip off prison phone. lawsuit overflowing device.

I have a Galaxy Ace 3 LTE model and I want to use it with another carrier, but it's locked. Does anyone know how I can unlock this phone?
I have tried some methods, especially universal Galaxy unlockers, but these didn't worked. Maybe it's because I have CM 11 on this phone. Can someone help me or post a link with a working method?
