I have acquired a set of all the icons from the Blod/9000. Just want to share with all of you and hope we can see some themes in the near future. I find them very elegant and simple
trying to make a theme, but i'm having trouble resizing the icons. Can someone give me some tips. or can someone change them to 32x32 for me?
Sorry to revive a dead thread...
Opening any of these in Photoshop results in the icon being trashed. It loses most of its transparency and is really unusable. What am I missing? An example of what's happening is attached.
I have a palm treo 800w running windows mobile 6.1 and i wanted to set a different today screen background, one that i had downloaded from the internet. When i set the background it's in tile mode instead of stretch and the picture doesnt entirely show. What do i need to do to get the picture to show up entirely. I was also wondering about when i add a theme with a wallpaper in it. The wallpaper doesnt show up so really it's just changing the color of the task bars, any ideas?

I have a htc diamond running wallpaperchanger:URL

I stumbled upon the trick to getting your taskbar to match your background.
"I use wisbar advance and then set the taskbarimage as same as the background .... you just need an app to resize the images for the taskbar and bottumbar"
URL http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=428463&page=139
but I have a changing wallpaper.
I wondering if anyone would be able to think of a way (maybe MortScript) To change the taskbar background hourly just like the background changes. I will donate for successful efforts.
I also share this concern for s2u2 so help is most appreciated.
I've seen a variety of screenshots of HD2s with alternate status icons (like the ones shown in this post's screenshots: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4871358). I've searched and searched and I can't find out how to customize these from the standard, simple, ugly white stock ones. Any tips appreciated!
Thanks!
BB
Can anyone point me in the right direction for these?
Thanks,
BB
You can either continue to search for somebody that has done it and released the files. Or you can start looking into modding the manila files yourself to what you want. The files are not unique to the Leo any WinMo 6.5 notification icons will work.
Thanks for the info. I'm brand new to Windows Mobile and the HD2 so I'm not sure I'm up for trying to make my own mods yet. I'm trying to learn from what others have done and then hopefully be able to give back later.
So, are these things typically referred to as 'notification icons'? I found some custom packages under that name, but they all seemed to be the big icons for the programs, not the little status icons. I couldn't tell though whether those packages would include both the big icons and the small status icons or not. Any idea?
Thanks,
BB

To get these icons first you need to install Maxmanilla. search the thread for maxmanilla and after that you can choose your icons for notifications.
Notification Icons
Install max manilla and then you can change the default notification by the one I have attached or to any icon you want. Search for the icons on net. A few icons are attached which I use.

Thanks for the tips and guidance! I really appreciate the help. However, I'm not looking for the big icons for the various programs, I'm looking for the little status icons at the top of the display (signal strength, wireless connected, bluetooth, headset, etc). The ones on the T-Mo HD2 are just the basic white 'line drawing' ones from HTC. I've seen some screenshots here (like in the like I posted above) where these little icons are very nice, rich, colorful, almost 3D looking. Those are the ones I'm trying to find. Does MaxManilla have those too?
Thanks!

Ah Sorry, I thought you are talking about notification icons. The icons which you are referring are part of taskbar. first you need to check your windows version If you are still on the stock rom or installed a coocked rom 6.5 then search for taskbar 6.5. If you are on 6.5.x then search for taskbar 6.5.x
A lot of customization links are included in the below thread. just search for taskbar for your version.

Awesome! That's what I was looking for. I was searching for 'status icons' since that's how HTC refers to them in the manual. Didn't think that was called the taskbar.
Thanks again!

You are welcome
Hi folks.
I have looked everywhere for help with my omnia 7's background accent colour and one other minor issue with no results.
I have the dft custom rom on it and when i choose dark accent it goes green!
Also i cannot email a picture right away after taking it because when i go to options after taking pic there are no options listed.
Thanks in advance
you can look here or here
maybe you had installed advanced config, then you can change directly the accent colors!
Thanks for reply.
I have tried that with no success.
See attached for pics....one pic shows the background accent and it is already set to dark but showing a kind of green..and the other is me trying to send a picture directly to an email contact where there are no options showing up.
Thanks again
Got it by installing metro theme
Cheers anyway
the only problem with changing the background color, the system dont support it now. if you look in to the email. or me hub or sometimes on other places like apps that only have black and white as "standard" in theyre xml files, the colors are messed up and are disturbing you from reading. it look good on the start screen but far from usable state right now. i whish we could manage to define all colors in the whole UI, not only a few things.
try to flash another custom rom or change your radio rom version
