Where is facebook in 2.3.7? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My sensation is on 2.3.3 I've been active on the Tmobile network for 2 days now with no push of the update. Anyone know if they stopped the roll out? Tried using update option and got "current" message. Phone is stock non root.

Did checkin nothing yet. Did HTC update option and it still says I'm up to date....it lies. 2.3.3 is not up to date. Don't know if anyone else in Dallas has it yet.

You'll get it soon enough. I just got myself a New Sensation which hasn't seen the update yet. My old one got it 5 days after the first initial people got it. So I assuming I will get mine sometime this week and you probably will too.

Just got it. Here in Colorado. Thank you htc.

Still waiting
Nothing in British Columbia, Canada still waiting :S
I got mine the day they started rolling them out. I'm in Toronto using WindMobile. Guess I was lucky... kinda. I've noticed the battery life has taken a nosedive since the update. The lockscreen isn't always responsive and some apps like FireFox take much longer to open. I've actually just reset my phone in hopes of the issues solving itself.

Then you typed it wrong. Make sure to note that the pattern of star-pound changes to pound-star after the numbers.
*#*#2432546#*#*
Do nothing after typing the last star -- the dialer will return to its normal screen with your contacts, then a few seconds later you should see an exclamation point inside a triangle in the status bar at the top with the message, "checkin succeeded".
Oh I see the differences now. Thank you. I got my update this morning. Thank you though.

Bought my new Sensation 10 days ago, updated right away. Had to return it for an exchange unit 2 days ago and the update wasn't available? Hmm, just flashed a custom 2.3.4 anyway lol.
Just got it.

I was thinking, have fun with touchwiz. I'm giving the iPhone some thought because it's a different toy. I am definitely getting the nexus 3 unless it's a total pos, which I doubt.
Not only no, but Hell no! Epic T4G users will be waiting for ICS, and be lucky to get it by May 2012. Where well have it a few weeks after it drops. The touch is cool, but what's the point of a dual core when the software doesn't even take advantage of it?
From cellblock D
it's a tough call. to me the epic touch is sexy as hell, and the ram boost alone makes it enticing.
but i don't even have my nexus s 4g yet. i'm trading my evo for it today (or actually my wife is, since i'm stuck at work ).

Ics orientation lag

Is there a way to speed up the transition to and from landscape?
Takes at least 3 seconds to switch. Gb is almost instant for me

[Q] gingerbread 2.3.5 update

Hello,
I saw a youtube video yesterday about a guy with an inspire 4g having 2.3.5 update problems. well I commented on the video and asked what he was talking about because htc doesn't show that there is a new update except for the 2.3.3 update. And I can the guy is already running 2.3.3 because of the app drawer icon. has anyone recieved an update notification? To see what I am talking about search youtube for "HTC inspire 4g update problems" it's the first video on the list.
There is no official 2.3.5 update for the inspire yet. That is a fact. But there are quite a few non official 2.3.5 ROMs out there.
Edit: I just looked and only see August of 2011 2.3.3 youtube vids that fit that search criteria.
that's what i thought. i don't think the guy in the video is right.
As far as I know there is an unofficial 2.3.7 that's what I'm running right now

So what does any of this have to do with OP? Senseless plugging?
I was replying to you but to the op. There isn't an official 2.3.5+ if he was running 2.3.5 then he must have been using a custom rom and most likely was just trying to be cool or mislead people.

Have you cleared the data and cache from the settings-manage all apps? When you do that, that essentially resets the app.
which app ? i don't have the app its asking me to update

The market app. Go to the settings-manage apps-all-scroll to the market app, clear data and reboot. Then open the market app. A window should pop up for you to agree to the market disclaimers and conditions.
ok ill try that. thanks.
