HTCclay recently tweeted the link to the ICS launcher. It may not be real but users claim it's pretty cool. Anybody tried it out? The apk is attached.

It's on 'other' forums
Google MoDaCo
i thought there was susposed to be a games tab also
Care to share? Lol. You can PM it to me also please! Thanks!
The point of Google is to do it yourself

The app drawer seems a bit laggy to me running on top of latest Android revolution hd.But I'm exited for ice being released this year.

Try killing HTC Sense (Rosie.apk) before using ICS Launcher

So this only works on MIUI? Not on ARHD which is based on Sense 3.0??

No you should be fine with what you have. This isn't the actual Ice Cream Sandwich launcher. It's made by Syndicate Apps. Based off of the "leaked" pictures.

Really wish it would of had the 3D app drawer from the stock android, but that's fine. It does look really good.
That's cool, but it's really laggy in app drawer
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using Tapatalk
This is not real I think.
Google wouldn't add settings for launcher seperately and put Honeycombs screenshots for running apps. ICS will much better than this. Good work anyway.
Pretty cool as stated before 3d app drawer would be awesome..

How did you try it? You a developer for SPB? This I'd just a SPB tease, quit posting this crap!

Doesn't work on my incredible.
really wanted to try it too

it's a nice app!=D
Tried it on my Captivate. It is super smooth and well done. There were some customization issues that I got used to with go launcher and launcher pro. But overall it's probably the most sophisticated and well build launcher for android.
You can find the beta version if you just google it

It's called Beta for a reason. Not everything is supposed to work.
Can't get this to run on a Desire. Anybody else been successful?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
It does not work on Droid X or Droid 1 or Nook Color. Is it possible to mod it so it does work?
i can't find it.. can someone give me a link.. ?
Didn't have any success with my Milestone XT720 (device not supported). I don't know if it was the link or my phone.
Lots of people are having trouble activating it, myself included.

No love on Heroc. Just FC or Wait, never anything else.
Pity. Can't wait for official version to be released.
someone share the link,PLEASE
The best launcher, but too messy tbh, iphone all over again. Wish it had option of organising apps alphabwtically.

Hopefully this device will be supported in the future, looks spiffy.
Just like it says. New market has begun rolling out and it adds a redesign, movies, and books.

The market updates itself. You don't need to have a stock Rom. It'll update just like Facebook did recently and how the market did to how it is now.

Don't think so. However your next rom update should include it or just look for the .Apk to be posted on this site soon and just install it yourself.

I love the new app!
Installed and is working fine on my Hero.
Installed on my G2x. Works great so far. It's a very fluid interface, a lot more content is aggregated and it's way easier to swipe through different content.
Awesome, will install later now.
Working perfectly on the Glacier! Thank you very much!

Kudos to Google.
I find some of the application descriptions are in other languages. Anyone else get this? I have everything set up as English uk and had no problems with old market.

Works well, a little to basic for me. Personally I enjoy the options to fully customize. Does have great potential.

Things like this will not be tolerated. Calling something garbage is rude and insulting, Not allowed.
Swearing in the forums will get you a one way ticket to bansville.
This is my only warning.
Looks like z beat me to it but I'm going reiterate what he said.
Cut the crap or get banned. Your choice.

yeah, since most changes in ICS are visual, they'll get buried under the miui skin. The same will happen with Sense, although i expect Sense 4.0 (or whatever) to bring some differences from 3.5. This is the same as Miui Gingerbread, except under the hood improvements. I'll wait for CM9

Humm...preference is the killer here .. many will prefer miui or sense over the aosp vanilla look. In the end everyone is excited by how it looks. But I wonder how will they top the already so tasty look of ICS

+1 I agree there.
I think I will settle for CM9, and enjoy ICS. Then later down the line, when I've used ICS, i can flash back to Sense/MIUI ROMs.

Got to be honest I agree with you. I preferred miui over aosp gingerbread and sense roms and although ics looks good and the likes of superkid and Co have done a great job porting it so quick, I'll still be sticking with miui. I really don't like the app drawer, it annoys me. Just hope you can still customize the new miui v4 like you can now.
