sorry dudes but i have the transformer for about 3 days and i like to root it in order to install custom roms.
i have hony comb 3,2 is it possible for me to root this if yes could you please send me the link for specifically rooting 3,2

First, you need to check the serial number on your tf ,
if its start with B60 and lower you can root the device (just use nvflash - very easy) ,
if its starts with B80 u cant root the device for now , if its B70 probably cant rooted either

My transformer doesnt start with b60 or any other b numbers?
Ignore, the sticker on the back has b70 but in the settings its different

I had been did it with Z4root,universalAndroot and other....but cna't active
if known my Dear friend plz teach me ....root to do .now i can't do anything only use internet ,read ,music ,movie but internet can't see my home font .so bad .
China tablets are mostly easy to root it when someone comes up with the rooting method as their bootloader is not locked.
Not like samsung, freaking locked bootloader.

I rooted my Asus Iconia A1-810 with the RV21RC02_WW_GEN1 files according to the thread:[ToolKit] Acer Iconia v0.8.1 ***New: Supporting A3-A10 / New: Pull system.img.gz*** http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240029
This was done several month ago...
But some of my apps need me to update to newer firmware according to the app-developers.
Unfortunately I don't know the best way to upgrade a already rooted device ?? Whats the easiest way ?
Do I need to first unroot the device and do firmware upgrade.... or is it possible to upgrade directly ?
Is there some good howto out there ?

I've read everything in the Acer Iconia Toolkit thread...... but because I have less then 10 post I'm not authorized to ask any questions in that thread ?????
So I'll have to ask here until someone answers or I reach 10 posts...
Anyhow...
My system.img.gz that is currently loaded and rooted is RV21RC02_WW_GEN1.
But there is no one offering a Stock / unrooted image for that !?!?
I've tried to to stock firmware upgrade through menu with the tablet rooted - NOT WORKING
I've tried uninstalling the SuperSU with the unroot-option in SuperSU menu. -NOT WORKING
I've was about to try the unroot option in the toolkit from windows.... but it says i need a stock image in the system_image folder ? -Dont have stock image RV21RC02_WW_GEN1
I've read that it's not a good idea to try and upgrade with another image (not RV21RC02_WW_GEN1), Then i'll brick the tablet....
But what should I do ???

I have exactly the same problem with my rooted Acer A1-810.
I used the toolkit to root my pad (RV21RC02_WW_GEN) a couple of months ago. And now I would like to find the original stock rom so I could unroot my device and update it. I have tested the same things that you tested but it didn't help.
So i have rooted phone happily but theres this problem: everytime i open gamehacker SB its obtaning root and its says : Sorry your device does not have root privileges.... and some more offers how to root... As i said i have rooted phone so i dont know what to do? Please, help....

On my TF303K already rooted under JB 4.4.2 , I noticed that the original recovery didn't get the SAVE/RESTORE option to use a Nandroid backup
Is there a way for getting TWRP to work on this tablet. ?
I haven't seen yet any thread about that .
I'm wondering if I could try to install the same TWRP as NEXUS 7 2013 ( ASUS product), which processor, screen definition and a lot of materials are the same .
Is there a risk of brick ?
One more question : this tablet is running JB 4.4.2 rooted . Do I have to unroot it ( via SuperSU option) before installing manually the update to MM provided by Asus on the Web ,
or can this be done directly ?
If anybody heard of a solution around all that , I would be happy to read it.
