Hope you can tweak that rom manager properly which you're planning since Rom Manager (the app) and other rom installers don't work properly on some devices.

I would like also to see a feature, that removes unwanted apps completely, with mass removing and presettings.. like remove all google apps but not market or all apps but not stock apps and so on.

I could do mass remove of apps from the /data/app by running
rm /data/app/*.apk
But i dont fancy doing mass removal from the system partition

Hey there,
i wrote a little app which helps you to set the maximum frequencies of our O3D's.
It just does an "echo *selected speed* > /proc/opperator". So you no longer need a Terminal Emulator to set the max frequencie.
I'm not responsible for any damage you do to your phone, so overclock only if you know what you do.
For this app to work your Phone must be rooted and you must have a kernel with Overclock module support (thanks to bedwa and tekahuna), e.g. Titan Kernel by samo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1547319
Sorry for my english
P.S.: If somebody found a bug, please report and i'll try to fix it
Have Phun!
Well i heard forums tryin' to destroy my files, so I uploaded it to my dropbox.

very useful app! well done! thank you very much from all community
one question, after set frequency, what must i have to do? tap back, exit the app, tap home button?
thanks
Dont mean to take the glory away from the work the dev has put in but you can just download Rom Toolbox from the market and use the scripter function which allows you to write your script echo 1300000000 > /proc/opperator for instance and have it run every boot .

i forgot to put the files in the lib modules folder my bad find and put them there the cosmo_gb files are in my dna thread..
It's useful for setting OC in real time, thanks for that.
But I think it's better make an app with a slider for setting max speed, test device, and if all it's ok, make changes on init.d script. (test it first... better than have device freeze whenever it starts up xD)
One question guys. I have stock 20 c Rom and samno 1.2 kernel .Do i need to overclock to 1200 using this metod or i can just instal SetCPU from Google Play? And do i need to overclock at all to have 1200(because when i do benchmark its telling me that i have 1200)?Thx.

Hello everyone .. I've been trying to the supercharger v6 script and I have a small question..
Once u run the required script in the Script manager app with root access,,, after running the script and while trying to exit, it gives 3 options...
1. Stop 2. Run in background 3. Close...
Which one do I choose.. I probably think it's the 2nd one, but would be great if someone confirms it.. (and anybody else using supercharger v6??? ) Thank you.. Cheers..

If you're a gamer is suggest not locking home in memory btw. Otherwise for daily usage its much better with supercharger, and you should kill the script after you set all your minfrees and tweaks. To check you can either run heavy games or open many tabs in a browser and check for re draws.

Guys just try this tweak by flashing once and I guarantee that you ll experience that so called buttery smoothness both in apps as well as games. This collection of tweaks contains all the required stuff so that u don't have apply each tweak separately.
Recommended that no tweaks are applied before. Uninstall seeder if u have installed. Entropy values should not have been modified.
Just download the tweak and flash it in the recovery. You must have at least 10mb according to the developer. I recommend u to delete some useless stuff like Apollo, android keyboard, etc. U can install those stuff like normal apks.
If you want to verify that the tweaks are working just open terminal emulator and type:
Su
Directinject
Set the min free values according to how u deal with apps by typing:
Su
Rambooster
Type the following in the same to achieve zero lag in the ui:
Su
Entro
That's it! Experience real working tweak!
Tested on cm9 build 9, cm10.1 beta1.
Links:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/uuftg1nniz958ok/direct_inject_turbo_v3.0.0_official_release.zip
Do press thanks button in the developer post before downloading the tweak.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2158329
Hits thanks button anyways!!!
If you are trying to use this tweak on phones with overclocked kernels, just copy all the stuff from system folder to the respective folders in your phone and set the permissions(check all the boxes using root explorer). Use 600mhz while transferring stuff into system partition. Use any root apps to clear dalvik cache.

In simple words u just don't know how to flash.
Like I said around 10mb must be free according to developer. But the quality of the recoveries we use just won't fill the memory completely. So delete all the unwanted stuff like wallpaper apks, media files, boot animation, unwanted language packs, etc. Just make the ROM look slim. Flash it. If it boots then flash gapps. If it is flashed properly, then flash that kernel. If your phone works correctly without any apps force closing, then reboot to recovery and flash the stuff.
U can install all those stuff u deleted later. @everyone just don't post stuff like ROM not booting, etc, etc. First confirm whether the rom is booted and then flash this stuff.

- ROM Cleaner Scripts for ViperS JB and Revelation JB -
- Introduction -These ROM Cleaner scripts are designed to work alongside the Aroma installers for the ViperS JB and Revelation JB Roms.
- About -The ViperS script contain fixes for errors in the Aroma installer, check them out. Both scripts will also remove any leftovers from the Aroma installers.
You will be able to enjoy more available system memory, RAM and increased battery life due to reducing the chances of wake locks.
It is also a great way to quickly gain space for Hinxnz' MultiSwap Mods that use system memory.
- Before Installation -Read all of this OP post before installation!
Before proceeding with with using your script, make sure you have removed everything that you do not need with the Aroma installer on your chosen Rom first. This will help you in getting the maximum benefit from your script.
Once you have done this, you can now edit your script to your requirements, don't just use your script straight away or you may not be happy with what gets removed.
- Script Editing -Open your script using notepad++ or Notepad2 on a PC. If you are using a Mac, use Text Edit.
You will see that your script is split into sections and full of notes to help you decide what you want to keep and remove from your Rom.
It is as simple as this... #Rosie.apk - Your Sense Launcher will not be removed. Rosie.apk - Your Sense Launcher will be removed. It's all about the # !
- Installing with HTC Sense or DeSensing -The option to keep or remove HTC Sense is the first entry in your script, please read the note in this section in your script if you plan on DeSensing.
- Trouble Shooting -At the bottom of the script are some "Experimental" options, personally I have removed all of these, as well as everything else I have no use for and had no problems at all.
The motto here is... The more you can remove, the better! But if something does break on your phone after using your script, please give feedback as I am here to help.
- Installation -1. If you have not done so already, install your chosen Rom first and set it up how you like it before proceeding
2. Download your script (make sure you have read the OP post first) and edit it to your needs
3. Download Rom Cleaner v6.0 to your phone or put it on your phone
4. Place your personalised script in /sdcard/ROMCleaner
5. Boot into recovery, open the ROM Cleaner zip package, pick "ROM Cleaner." Now pick Sense install and press Next
6. You can safely ignore the additional options and just press Next again and wait until ROM Cleaner is done
7. Press Reboot and enjoy the results
- Accidental Removal -If you accidentally removed something you wanted to keep, do the following.
1. Open your Rom zip package
2. Navigate to system/app and find the .apk file you accidentally removed and transfer it to your SD Card
4. Move the .apk file to the system/app directory on your phone
5. Now reboot and it will reinstall itself
(Note for Revelation users: if you chose to remove "HTC Live Wallpapers" but kept "HTC Weather" when installing the Rom, you need to do this to restore HtcWeatherWallpaper.apk to get your fullscreen weather animations back.)
- Changelog -OP will post updates in the thread.
- Credits -Hinxnz for his ideas and help.
Also to the teams who made ROM Cleaner, ViperS and Revelation.
- Downloads -ViperS JB Script - Revelation JB Script
Thank you for your share!
thanks for your effort on fine tuning this script. will be using it for my next ViperS reinstallation.
Thanks peeps, if your unsure about anything, or you happen to break something that you need working on your phone with the script, please ask or share.
Hell, any useful modifications to the script you peeps can think of are welcome
Oh yeah, my next thing I will be doing is modifying it for people with Revelation!
Thanks for share...:good:

Hello, yeah ok, sorry.
I should probs put an explanation of how it's used...
Rom Cleaner v6.0 Aroma
Go here, you'll be sorted now.
OP has updated the script
I've made a change at the end of the script after making a new discovery...
It is to do with Venom Tweaks using Updater.apk to apply boot settings... and Android Tuner may also use it to apply boot settings...
So safe to remove if you don't use Venom Tweaks, or possibly Android Tuner to apply settings on boot...
Also added the comment... I recommend using Android Tuner to change settings via init.d scripts, especially SD Cache size as Venom Tweaks is broken in this aspect.
I thought it was me removing so much from ViperS, but I reinstalled the Rom and using Venom Tweaks to change read ahead size still did not work.
Enjoy!

Of course you can. You will find plenty of unused stuff that is in the script. I've removed 95% of what is in the script myself, just kept what I like on my home screen really.
You will be able to flash Multiswap Mod after you have gained plenty of system space too.
Go for it and just ask if you need any guidance
P.S it's not my cleaner... it's just a script for ROM Cleaner

Are you sure you used it properly? Tell me what you did to execute the script. Does it match the instructions posted in the OP post?
I just wanted to tips you guys running 4.4.2 kitkat custom DEODEX rom about this.
"Would you like to speed up your rom, more stability, more battery life, no lag to open system app and better ram utilization? Now you can! (Only For Rooted Phone And Deodexed Rom)"
"What is ODEX and DEODEX?
In Android file system, applications come in packages with the extension .apk. These application packages, or APKs contain certain .odex files whose supposed function is to save space. These odex files are actually collections of parts of an application that are optimized before booting. Doing so speeds up the boot process, as it preloads part of an application. On the other hand, it also makes hacking those applicationsdifficult because a part of the coding has already been extracted to another location before execution.
THEN COMES DEODEX
Deodexing is basically repackaging of these APKs in a certain way, such that they are reassembled into classes.dex files. By doing that, all pieces of an application package are put together back in one place, thus eliminating theworry of a modified APK conflicting with some separate odexed parts.
In summary, Deodexed ROMs (or APKs) have all their application packages put back together in one place, allowing for easy modification such as theming. Since no pieces of code are coming from any external location, custom ROMs or APKs are always deodexed to ensure integrity."
"Another explanation is this:
If you odex the rom, you'll have also more space in data (this is important because if you don't have partition ext4 in sdcard, you won't have too free space), increase battery life, more stability and increase perfomance( the Rom is more faster to load system and app) but you can't modifie apk after odex (you can't mod program with classes.dex).
Infact ODEX is an OPTIMIZED-DEX and Android load system and app faster than deodexed (DEOPTIMIZED-DEX) app and system.
When you have a deodex file (a lot of roms are deodexed) you have File.apk in system/app and in data/dalvik-cache/[email protected]@[email protected], but with odex file you have File.apk in system/app and File.odex in system/app"

Hi robalm..
How are you doing mate..
Just wanted to ask as I have tried both the file systems personally..
Do you find considerable difference while using them..
To me it all seems to be more of a placebo..

Installed correctly supersu looks ok failed everywhere, i tried all and one by one, probably is the rom I don't know. I didn't let it to finish started fail fail etc and cut it at all first and when tried one by one the 3 other choices it did the same too. This rom had problem with supersu and I fixed it installing supersu update 1.94, maybe is this I don't know. At supersu application terminal has supersu permissions also when running the script looks that it has supersu permissions. Other apps like mobile odin pro titanium backup etc which need supersu working normally.

anyone tested ART on this set up ?
Failed on system apps. Dn v5

My phone has about 180 meg free memory on /system. I'm running DN3 V5. Problem is that the odex script runs out of memory, with about half of the apps not odexed.
This resulted in a number of fc's on various system apps, even after I cleared cache and dalvic. I had to reflash DN3 to restore... ?
