Actually it is. You want to drop a hint or advice for us and you want us to take you seriously? Then how you send the message is equally, if not more, important than what you want to say.
Maybe I cuss or read to many cuss words because I didn't notice he said any til you guys pointed it out, lol.
And yea, that seems like an awesome set up. I will prob try it in the future, but right now I am addicted ti Final Fantasy 13 on my Xbox.
Seriously Fairy Princess, get over it.
Youre annoying, plus i'm just trying to share my experience with others.

Ps3 controller and wii controller its bluetoth but the xbox controller its not, u have to plug in the adapter that receives the signal. That means u can't play with xbox controller and plug it in on the tv simaltaniously.

Congratulations. You're ability to use language that is not needed and your lack of respect for other members has gotten your thread closed.
Well yeah as the title says. I have a thread in the WTS section but I'm just wondering th hat since I have a ps3 with many games that I don't use can I put a game or two in the thread?

i know there are many threads about gameboy emulators. But i wanted to start a thread about a gba emulator that can emulate linkcable. I heard of nes emulators that can usw multiplayer per BT/wifi (don#t know how it works). If there is anybody who can create a gba emulator that can emulate a linkcable i would also pay for it or credit him per paypal. i think many people would do the same and are interested in this.

There are only 3 GBA Emulators out there for Android:
VGBA (Performance is pretty bad)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fms.vgba&feature=search_result
Gameboid (Oudated, no option to disable linear filtering)
http://slideme.org/application/gameboid
GBA.emu (NEW, and my absolute favorite, great compatibility, and great performance)

I think I read somewhere that link cable support for gba is just not feasible/possible due to the way it works. It was coming from an actual developer, which is why I stopped looking for this entirely. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
I think he mentioned that there are megabytes of data almost randomly transferred at any moment in time and there's little to no latency allowed. So it's very unlikely that this will be supported anytime soon
From what I gathered, a link cable session is something entirely different from a multiplayer game with multiple controllers plugged into the console. In the latter case you essentially just push the input values over the net and accept what little latency there is. In case of the link cable, whole portions of the game rom are transferred and everything has to be in tight sync.
But... I'm just talking out of my ass. I remember this from back when I was looking for this precise feature. It might or might not be true.

Honestly wireless communication should be possible but may vary depending on device hardware. The PSP has a gba emu and a sneak one that supports wireless linking. It Even has an adhoc file stranger program to send files to other psps via adhoc to each other which also would be great for our phones. What wee really need is for someone to start porting this kind of stuff. It is possible just not reallly attempted.

If you look on the computer side of things, linkcable supporting GBA emus aren't really polished and it took a big while before they were even available/working. While I don't know the specifics myself of linkcable sessions, I'd back you up with what you said which is pretty much what I read myself.
What's the best emulator for SGT2 7 please ?

give this a try. as far as roms go, youll have to search for those on your own as it is against xda rules as im sure you know
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...51bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zZWxldWNvLm1hbWU0YWxsIl0.
MAME4droid
Thank you Darunion ..... yes , Im sure i can find some ROM's all on my own lol
BUT if anyone can suggest any better android emulators please feel free to add them
:highfive:
Well I am also looking for good emulators as well. I had Gameboid on my Infuse but when I use it on my Tab, I really do not like it as much. I'm looking for some really good emulators to play snes, GBA, N64, etc... I know i cant post where to find roms, I'm pretty sure I can find roms on my own.
Also is there a better Emulator to play arcade games other than MAME?
MAME comes in two flavours, one which uses the more recent .139 core which offers a wider range of games to play, however mileage may vary.
As far as i know there are no other arcade emulators in development for the Android format, although i have been away from the emulation scene for about a year now i have been an avid user and fan from the mid 90s, following both Console, Computer and Arcade emulation from the days of 'Shark', 'Sparcade' and 'Hive'.
If, however, you are looking for other systems, then perhaps you would like to try Frodo which covers the Commodore computers and offers excellent compatability.
You also have Marvin, which is an excellent ZX Spectrum/128 emulator - Marvin actually hooks upto WOS - world of Spectrum and allows you to play the games direct on your Tab.
And if you fancy a real trip, Colem is a great CBS Colecovision emulator.
Tl;Dr but check www.roms4droid.com
I play snes on mine and I get my stuff from there

Only thing i can really think of is..... what controller would be best for my tab/games ?
I do have some other questions but this isn't the forum for it ( kinda involves turning a SGT 10 into an old skool arcade machine ) but as i said i will save it for another forum and time
I like using my ps3 controller, if you are rooted but if not then a wired 360 controller will do the job.
I like the ps3 cont. Better because theres no wire sticking out of my tablet

It 'can' be done with the Icade which was originally released for the Apple Ipad.
Effectively it turns the tablet into a mini arcade cabinet with, what looks like a mini Wico joystick and buttons et al.
It looks fantastic although i have never actually used one.

that is not really possible since you would have to setup a virtual machine and the performance would be terrible.
however there are emulators for consoles so you could play "real" games that way

I believe I saw a thread about this in the last month or so somewhere on here. Give a search for "ps2 emulator." You can't actually "play" the games on a phone, but there are these emulator programs that will run the basic game on different platforms. I believe the ps2 version is close to working on Android or might already work on certain specs. Give a look.
As I know u can play GTA San Andreas, Starcraft, Doom and few others. Search on Google how to do it. As I remember this is not hard thing to do

You will only be able to play games that have been ported (like GTA San Andreas). or if you're lucky, can run in a browser with a plugin like Flash or that use HTML5.

You need to search for each specific game to figure out if there is a way to play it on Android.
For example, you can play Heroes 3 using VCMI or ExaGear. Or games like Civilization also.
There are many Doom and Quake ports.
You can use Dosbox and play many games through that.
You can find ports of games like Vice City and San Andreas.
If you have great internet on your home computer/laptop and if you have unlimited 4g or great wifi wherever you are with your phone, you can run any game on your computer and stream that to you android (for example through TeamViewer).
Happy gaming!
