Porting these to a new phone is hard so take the android version you have and look for other samsung roms of the same version with the memo apk then install that apk and restore the data. A more experienced dev could tell you exactly what to do.

Take the package you initially got then find the apks in the /system/app folder and push those to your phone /system/app and then reboot.

Can only know if you try.
The depenencies on these apks are on the touchwiz framework and stuff like that.
As long as the rom you take it from is a touchwiz samsung rom of the same version of android and the rom you put it on has the touchwiz framework then your fine but try it first.
If all else fails then you could be hacker and decompress the titanium backup zip file for your memo data and use an sqlite editor from the play store to see if you can read the memos that you left.
Or after that you could load the original rom up again and restore it on that or restore it on another of the same rom.(Another phone maybe)

he seems already have root. if he is on rooted LB, this is not a good choice. reverting to KK to get root again may need internal storage to be wiped.

Right !
You may recover any system apps by extracting and mounting « system.ext4 » linux file system from flashable zip firmware.
I am rooted and therefore using 5.0.2. I was wondering if the camera.apk from 5.1.1 can be replaced somehow using titanium.
I would like to have the new camera features.
Any help appreciated!
The easiest way is to try out Save the old camery apk and replace it with he new one. It should be SamsungCamera4.apk in /system/app. Give it the appropriate rights (644) and reboot.
Or flash stock 5.1.1 ROM via odin.
If I flash stock 5.1.1 Rom I will loose root, right.
I will try to replace the apk, where do I get the camera. Apk from 5.1.1? Are there some expected roms?
I assume you rooted 5.0.2 without tripping knox. Thats why you dont want to install a 5.1.1 firmware.
You can get the apk from one of the available 5.1.1 roms. The direction of the apk inside the zip file is three posts above.
Did not have the time to read everything about 5.1.1 root. Ping Pong was quick and easy.
Currently I have G920FXXU1AOCV, can I take the camera.apk from any 5.1.1 rom?
Below /system/app/SamsungCamera4/ there is onother folder /arm64/ that contains the .odex file. I guess I need this one too? right?
Yes,copy that too. The camera would function without the odex aswell but with the odex load up time is faster.
Hi,
I accidentally deleted the google services framework odex file with lucky patcher. now I wanted to replace the file from a stock rom that I have downloaded from sam mobile but I cannot extract the system files. Tried the tool sgs2toext4 but it is somehow not working.
Galaxy s6
5.02.
G920FXXU1AOCV
G920FDBT1AOCN
where do I get system files from a specific rom?
It would also be a great help if someone could send me the GoogleServicesFramwork.odex from System/priv-app/GoogleServicesFramework folder
Or maybe other suggestion what to do. My phone is unstable because this services tries to start periodically and a message gapps process has stopped...
