Maybe... on one hand, its only slightly thicker, not enough to make a case not fit. On the other, the buttons and ports were all moved around, so that may mess with how things are aligned.
Wonder if OtterBox will make a case?
This is what I'm thinking

That one doesn't fit because the ports were moved around, right?
Did they make any for the Infinity yet?
That sucks, not yet.

Well, it may fit if they just have an open side, but if they have holes it won't fit.
Maybe its worth sending the company of that case an email?
thin high quality pouch and fast shipping .

I'm hoping someone makes a hard, snap-on type case for the tablet and dock. I couldn't really find anything like that for the prime, and I hate the leather portfolio cases lol.
I'd hate to spam the Infinity threads, but someone here might be interested in my other post on the sleeves for Transformers in a similar thread:

Looks like these people have a few bits already, but word has it they will be releaseing very soon a special case

Thanks for that link! They have 25% off for a couple of days. Got myself a stylus and a car charger.
I would like something similar to the Official Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 case... been using that for a year on my tab and its brilliant.
I'm probably going to be picking mine up at a retail store, so I'm hoping to find a nice slip case that will fit the tablet and dock.
I just got my TF700T and love it so far, but I'm worried about scratching it, so I was wondering if there was something like the CaseMate "Barely There" case for this Tablet?
Also the smart cover things that at Asus' own webshop, have anyone tried them? Are they worth buying?

I'm using the TranSleeve designed for the Prime (TF201), it fits well and is actually pretty cool. You have a few "standing" options (movies / typing) etc.
There is TranSleeve Dual coming, which is supposed to cover the Infinity with or without the dock, but it's hard to tell when it's going to be available in Europe.

I got the TranSleeve Dual while I thought I was getting the regular TranSleeve. The Dual one is pretty much useless without a dock.
Sure, you can prop the thing up similar to the regular sleeve, but it feels bulky, and since the tablet is only held in place in the sleeve by silicone stripes (or whatever they are) at the sides, it tends to just slide out of the sleeve. The actual propping up also feels bulky since it's supposed to fit the dock as well and wrap around both when you close them together. Suffice to say, I'm returning it since it's useless to me without the dock.
This is my leather case what i order last week http://www.noreve.com/langue/en/pro...Infinity_TF700T_Tradition_B_leather_case.html
It's just great and it fits perfect
Nice one! Nice price too.

That appears to be the same as Amazon's "Poetic-Transformer-Infinity-Keyboard-Portfolio" -- I'd post a link but I'm not allowed to since I haven't got ten posts yet (the logic behind that escapes me).
The poetic is cheaper at $14.95 and free shipping. I've ordered one but it won't get here until tomorrow. I also purchased on ebay:
360-Rotation-Leather-Case-Cover-for-ASUS-Transformer-Pad-Infinity-TF700T-10-1-/271011459951?pt=US_Tablet_Accessories&hash=item3f198ab36f
Which closely resemble's Amazon's "MoKo-Detachable-Transformer-Horizontal---Lifetime," but I think the ebay one looks better and is cheaper as well. I haven't received it yet either -- it appears to be coming directly from China with free shipping but won't arrive for another week. I'll try and update this as soon as they arrive.
I have a case that is basically identical to that one that I got for my Prime. It is a nice case but it adds a lot of bulk to the tablet & keyboard combo. I just got a different case from Amazon that is much better: the "Poetic(TM) 2in1 Ultra Light Leather Case for Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201 10.1-Inch Android Tablet"
This case adds much less bulk. The other case has a third flap on it that is really unnecessary.

Long thread with very little information about cases for tablet and keyboard together. So I think a thread that focuses on this specific combination has some merit.

The thing I'm looking for is to have both a tablet and keyboard case that can be together or separated. So sometimes I want to take both the tablet and keyboard and want something that works nicely. Other times I want to take just the tablet and don't want to bring the keyboard. So I want the case to shrink to be tablet only and allow me to attach or detach the keyboard.
The Poetic-Transformer-Infinity-Keyboard-Portfolio was a little cheaper and I figured for $15 how wrong can I go. Thanks I ordered it!
Anyone know of a real leather case for the combo besides the noreve? I'd like one with the pockets inside like the poetic cases.

I've this one since a few days and it's very great !!!
For the cost, very good quality. You can separate easely the keyboard and the the TF700.
Look is beautifull (like a filofax), very good prize !!!
For me it's a must have for TF700 user with dock.
Camera front and back, power, micro sd, sd are good.
One only a little thing is "bad", there are (en francais 2 élastiques) for to keep the keyboard in place (not very beautifull, this point give a look cheaper only for this part). The access for the usb port is a little hard and it's the same for the power supply (on the keyboard).
A last thing, when you open the case, the connect since the TF700 and the keyboard is sometimes lost ... You must to press a little the keyboard and it's okay.
For all the rest, it's very a good case
P.S. : sorry for my english ...:silly:

I bought that case, but I must say, the quality is pretty cheap. I'm not really sure what I should expect, but it does do it's job of protecting the tablet's exterior so I'll give it that much. The material used however, is fairly cheap/low quality to the touch.
I'm not okay at all with you ... It's a good value for money !
For this prize, it's not possible to have real leather.
There are other cases with best quality of material but very more expensive ...
I received the poetic case. Overall I like it. It feels good and splits easily so you can detach the keyboard and carry it as a portfolio.
Negatives are in portfolio mode the flap is loose since it has extra slack to close around the keyboard. I don't think this is a big issue. The one thing I really don't like is that it doesn't have any stand mode. So if you want to stand it up to watch a movie or just look at email you will need to prop it up with the flap but it isn't designed for this and isn't stable.
Overall I am not satisfied with this cover. I am still shopping.

Hi,
Same question for me: any feedback?
I have the impression that the video watching position is too inclined..
I've had the poetic case (looks the same) for over a week now. I'm still looking. the case looks nice. While it adds quite a lot of bulk, I am mostly using the tablet for work, and it looks pretty professional. Alot of people are concerned about the bindings for the cases, but they seem ok to me (except you have to take off the dock strap to charge). However, I have found that with the dock and tablet cases on I have some difficulty joining and disconnecting the dock and tablet. Sometimes I have to struggle so much I'm a bit worried about breaking it. It takes a fair bit of time (well a couple of minutes anyway), which does not suit me if I need to whip off the tablet quickly to show something to someone or change orientation of the tab if needs be.
I've now just taken the dock cover off because it gets covered by the tablet folio, and seems to dock a bit easier.
Am now looking for a tablet and dock cover that doesn't impede docking, and can cover the screen of the tablet ok without the dock in it. Not in a hurry though cause the Poetic is still pretty ok for the price.
Edit: Don't recommend this case. Very tight to dock the keboard and have scratched the edge of the tablet and ruined 1 screen protector getting it on. Need something with thin leather padding on the dock edge of the tablet.

Does anyone know if sikai case is gonna start developing cases for the infinity??? Their leather case seems pretty good for the prime (http://www.amazon.com/Sikai-Leather...8&qid=1345043945&sr=8-3&keywords=sikai+tf+201)
I got this case a couple of weeks ago-

So far it seems like only the Astro 3 outputs the 12v all transformer devices need. You will need to buy a USB 3.0 female to female adapter as well at the bare minimum. I have a keyboard dock but I am very active with my infinity and it will run out of juice within a day if I forget to turn off my tablet at night (it'll be like 30% in the morning). The Astro 3 guarantees that I won't run out of battery in an 8 hour work day when combined with the keyboard dock.

Thanks a lot! very useful, already looking for options.
Great resource, thanks.
My opinion, but it just seems that ASUS is dropping the ball on cases/accessories for the Infinity... it's their flagship tablet and is prolly the best one on the market currently. It'd be nice to head into my local Best Buy, Office Depot, etc. and see a selection of cases available to choose from.

I totally agree, it would be refreshing to see cases for Non-Apple devices at BB. Do you think they will release another transformer before the holidays?

Do not get this rooCase slim fit case!

I ordered it because I wanted a thin case but this case did not fit! The corners were so snug I gave up because I didn't want to scratch up my tf700. It went straight back in the mail.

I purchased the rooCASE Executive Portfolio Case Cover (100% Genuine Leather) and I LOVE IT! Because I will be using my Infinity to help sell my photography for different vendoring events, this rooCASE will stand my tablet up in either portrait or landscape mode which most cases don't do -- it's usually one or the other, not both! It also has 2 small slots holders for business cards, a medium sized slot that holds the micro-fiber cloth that came with the tablet, and a large slot which holds my note pad. There's even an elastic band on the spine which holds my Bamboo Solo Stylus.
I nice complete package of high quality (including the zippers) which goes anywhere from $29.99 to $39.99.
Nice list, thanks !:good:

I am looking to buy a case for my TF700 so I have some protection when I travel a bit. I've searched the forum and didn't come up with much. Does anyone have a case they like or a link to one that they use? What in your opinion is the best one?

Accessories is the right place for this, and if you search there you will in fact find quite a bit of discussion on the topic.
Also, Google, eBay and Amazon are all good places to search. Not a lot of choices, night you will learn what's available quickly.

I had a Skinomi on my prime. I loved it. Had a brushed steel, plus got it for the dock. Even better is lifetime warranty. As well in another thread they messed up putting it on, & skinomi replaced for free. So great customer care is always my deciding factor between to items the same. I am probably get it again for when my infinity tomorrow.

After trying several cases(I'm kind of picky lol) I found one that I really liked, it's called the "rooCASE Multi-Angle Vegan Leather Folio Case". Its thin, light, and closes with a magnetic flap and it keeps the tablet pretty secure. It also makes the tablet feel real comfortable in my hands. I got it after returning a case called "the Targus Truss"(probably the worst case I ever owned).

I bought this case for my Prime and loved it!! Love it even more now since it also fits my Infinity perfectly!!!! I bought it at Best Buy when I bought my Prime back in January/February and it still look perfect and fits perfect. It hasn't loosened any in the fitment department and none of the stitching or seems have came loose or frayed at all. I highly recommend this case!! My girlfriend now has my Prime. After looking for her a case to use she has decided to also buy one of these. Nothing online We have looked at seems nearly as nice in terms of appearance and fitment. This truly is an awesome case and will last over time without damaging in any way whatsoever!!! It isn't cheap, but it is made extremely well with extremely nice materials!!!

I don't have access to a set of digital scales but it would be comparable to other PU/leather cases on the market for the TF700.
I'll let you know if I can get an accurate weight of the case.
I just purchased a rooCASE Executive portfolio genuine leather case from a vendor on eBay for $39.95 & free shipping.
This is an excellent case, very well padded and high quality leather and construction. :good:
It weighs 1.6 lbs and the unit is top-notch with quality stitching and a soft velvet-like lining with a built-in tilt stand.
Lately my little guy has been playing some games on my touchpad, and would like to get something to keep his slobber off of it as well as protect it from getting banged around.
