Hi, sorry for asking this but not usually in these desire S forums so it may have been asked before.
Does anybody have a walkthrough of how to change the Desire S digitizer. Doing a favour for sister in law and its my first attempt at this.

Hi guys,
I have jsut bought myself a XDA and so far soo good. I have a question that one of you guys might be able to help me with I have a screen in my car which has a usb input what i would like to do is plug my XDA into the screen and use the screen as a display for the xda.
Any ideas how i do this?? or even if it is possible to do?

Has anyine managed to do a ROM like the new HTC Touch PDA? Would this work on my XDA Exec? Or can someone help me put the iphone theme on my XDA.

Come on, at least look on the same page before you ask questions. The same thin's being asked further down.
Basic answer is tough luck for now, nobody has made VGA versions of either.

1) I want to upgrade my Incite to spocky's roms but I have no idea where to start so I was wondering if anybody could give me a definitive step-by-step guide?
2) if I upgrade my Incite could I ever go back to the original?

I´ll be aware of your recomendation
My only intention is to let clear for newbies the orientation of the site, wich of course 99% of active users know.
Also I don´t want to encourage anyone to buy an HTC, that desicion has to be made individually
You can see down on this thread why I give that message every time, so people don´t waste time

hey guys
i'm about to buy a htc touch cruise (i'm guessing it's polaris from the internet) in the next couple of days. i only found about the driver issues only today, so i'm worried.
this forum has so many threads i don't know what to read first or where to start. would it be too troublesome to have one of you experts guide me in upgrading my phone, step by step, or which links i should click on first?
or should i just use the phone the way it is?

I dropped my desire S today( I know I got clumsy hands , the glass looks fine and the touch is also working fine as usual, but the LCD image seems to be damaged partially in right side from top to bottom...several lines appear and the display is in black and white(negative image)... :'(
My Question is Can I send this back to HTC?, FYI it is rooted and S-offed, How much will they charge? Will the root affect the repair, if not is there a way I can S-ON it back. Please advise or guide me.

P.S. If this is not the right forum, please let me know
there a lot of guides for returning your device to S-ON. You can also flash an appropriate RUU which i believe returns your device to S-ON and stock
also posting in the Q&A probably would've gotten you more help.
I'm sorry I can not solve your problem, but I agree with dan-fish and I'm sure nobody will blame you if you post this in the Q&A section again. You'll get a solution very quick I think
