Hi guys,
I just created a site ( http://www.htcsensationroms.com ) that lists all the current HTC Sensation roms. The site tries to give a bird's eye view of the latest updates of each rom along with links to their threads.
The rom information is automatically refreshed from the "Sensation Android Development" thread every 15 minutes.
Let me know how to make it better!!
Please make it a little easier on the eyes on the top.
Alot of the stuff on the top didn't make sense. Only part I understood were the phones and roms in them, which was very creative. Nice job

Thanks! I used a page just like that for my old HD2. Looks exactly the same. Are you the same person who made that HD2 one too?
Awesome....one stop shopping.
P.S. I noticed you have the frankinstine rom showing "No" next to Sense.
I believe that is a Sense rom....allthough i think he has a no-sense flash over
Great! I really like your site for HD2.

Yep.
Yeah I've used his site for the HD2 also.
I put the link as the first post in the ROMs section of my stickied [INDEX] thread. I'll give it some time but I might just remove the custom ROMs section and drive all traffic to your site.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate your feedback. Here are my comments to your suggestions
Knucklessg1
- Sorry about the mess at the top... do you have any suggestions on how to improve it? you can send me a pm if you would iike
pnyppon
- I cannot get updates from modaco as my engine only synchronizes from XDA threads. I might modify it in the feauture if there is a demand
FreakyFerret
- Yes I am the same person who made the same for the HD2 android roms
mikeydee81
- Changed the frankinstine rome to 'Sense' yes as per your comment, thanks!
digiholic
- Thanks for the link to your sticky!
Thanks for your work, I greatly appreciate it!

Excellent! I sent you an email from the HD2 page asking you to make a Sensation one. So, thanks! Even if you didn't get to that email yet.
I also gave you a thank you on the original post and your response. You should have a full Thanks meter in my opinion.
I would often check your HD2 page several times a day, and XDA only about once a week. You were my main source of news.
The following days I'll let you know about some feature of my site that you might not know.
Today's feature is : "Replies per day"
On http://www.htcsensationroms.com , below each listed rom, there is a value named "Replies per day". This is calculated based on when the rom was first seen by the site and the total replies posted in the Rom's thread.
This value is very usefull because it can very easily show you which roms are most active (the ones with the higher "Replies per day"). Also note that you can sort the list based on the "Replies per day" value.
The above feature is found on all 4 of ROM LIST sites (for htc sensation, galaxy s2, hd2 android and evo4g)
Just updated http://www.htcsensationroms.com/ with all the latest roms!, let me know if I missed something.
Also don't forget that there is an RSS feed on the page to subscribe to rom updates.
Maybe add a kernel section to it to see if there is a kernel update ?
Great job this is realy usefull to check for rom updates
Energy (Nov 22) is android 2.3.5 not 2.3.4
very useful site, thanks, just like the one for HD2.

OK so I promised everyone some time ago that I would indeed be making OpenDesire public keeping in tradition with the 'Open' part of the ROM name and also providing full walkthroughs for compiling AOSP from source.
Over the course of the next week you will see this completely and you will be able to make a perfect copy of OpenDesire in its running state from scratch and customize to your hearts desire.
All the hard work will be done for you
Anyway if you are interested in this at all, you can see view everything from my forum @ http://android.adamg.co.uk/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=12
I look forward to answering questions and building a community from this.
Thanks a lot! , going through your walk through on your site right now
Will reply later saying how well it went (hopefully)

Its not fully complete yet, its going to take some time to fully publish everything because I'm maintaining the ROM and a personal life at the same time.
I will be waiting too. Thank you

Thank you very much for this Guide Adam.

This is something i really, really like.
Cant wait progress on your howto.
Romcocking in excelence
Great guide man.. what's there so far.
Would be good to see how some other things are implemented in the source aswell. A tutorial about editing kernel source... adding apps2sd. Etc etc
There are lots of custom roms about but not enough guides to help!
Good work!

Hi guys,
I just created a site ( http://evo4g.roms-db.com ) that lists all the current EVO4G roms. The site tries to give a bird's eye view of the latest updates of each rom along with links to their threads.
The rominformation is automatically refreshed from the "EVO 4G Android Development" thread every 15 minutes. Let me know how to make it better!!
This is great thank you.
Pretty cool, thanks! Perhaps you can include the Sense version as well as the Android version. For example, Virus, Myn, and MikROM all have ROMs using newer versions of Sense (sorry, don't know the build numbers).
wow very nice & clean. I hope it stays updated, 5 stars. Nice work!
Nice idea but until all the devs agree to some kind of uniform post title or something its hard to be accurate about the info. e.g. the destroyer v2 is a gingerbread rom, no sense.
I do wish everyone would agree on a uniform title.. [rom][gingerbread][2.3.3][sense 3.0] [late update] [name of rom] or something.. and yeah, i wish a gingerbread w/ sense 3.0 was around. ^_^
Lol. I'm just re-doing this whole post. It's nice to see the same creator for the HD2 ROMs page made one for us Evo ROM devs. I was waiting for something like this to come around. The HD2 page always made it easy to pick a ROM to use.
Thanks.
Like the nice clean layout
Very good idea makes it easy to pick what you want. Devs please take notice this makes it a lil easier to get your roms to a bigger fan base
Very nice. I think this would be more useful if all EVO Roms were included. I like the idea of having all the Roms on 1 page for easy access and also I like being able to click on the description links and compare Roms easily in separate tabs. What I mean by all Roms is I noticed that the Cricket Rom isn't there and a few others. Not a big deal, just trying to help out is all. Thanks OP for your work on this and I hope you keep it updated.
Very nice dude and thanks. I love the HD2 version of this same page. Question why is myn's WarmTwoPointTwo not on the list...definitly top 3 roms for the EVO. And to piggyback what others said we definitly need a specific naming convention for the roms.
Try the link in my signature for some more roms. Got another 120 to go. Looks real good so far.
Cooler than your EVO
Thanks guys,
I'll try to add the missing roms. As far as the naming convention for the thread title is really a problem. it would be great if all the chefs could rename their roms to clearly indicate the date updated and there version.
i.e.
[ROM][DATE] <NAME OF ROM><Version>
where [DATE] is in a format of mm/dd/yy
hope you dont leave Big Man Myn out of that site lol
Man this is great thx. They had one before almost like this on xda but was never updated. I hope this one gets updated all the time. Thx again and great work.
Great. Thanks.

The naming convention and threads/day are a little messed up (sorta pointed out already). You call CM7 "Bat Country" and base the posts/day off of the fact that the OP was updated April 10th, instead of when the thread was started.
Can you add a tag for whether or not the ROM has WIMAX working? If so, I'd certainly use this site to keep up with things.
Nice work my man.

So....to be honest: There are so many great Rom-Developers / Rom´s in here but Coredoird is the only one that does great visual changes so i´m asking:
Is there a new Coredroid coming?
With Sense 3.5?
and maybe other features? which can be told in here?
...and if i donate, will it be faster ?
Thank you for your answers, greetings from Germany.

write with pleasure something with CoreDroid. I have for one year the HD2 with CD on it and since about 4 months the HTC Sensastion with CD. Unfortunately, one can take part only from 10 contributions in this forum. Thus the possibility remains to us only here to collect points come around later there to.
Thanks

I can usually decipher mysterious European English, but in this case I am absolutely bewildered.
This is almost confusing...still it was a legitimate question. I however don't know. I use coredroid . All I know is they're working on a xe version and I don't know what all it entails.

Wow Im trying to find a stable rom for my buddies mt4gs and their roms are all terrible maybe because its a laggards phone having that stupid keyboard and all. I love my Sensation and our developers kick ass !!!!!!
There's not much development for that phone at all.
Thankfully the Sensation is a worldwide device and we have dev's from all over the world making roms for us.
Yes the development on the sensation is great when you go to the development already you can find update every single day down there are you use or droid actually now it's called coin droid and it's updated all the time I love since 4 it's much better than all the other senses once people get a little bit more tweaks going for it it'll be perfect so I also thank the devs good job.

Watch your language and attitude when posting on XDA.
Or suffer the consequences...
Having previously been on the MT4GS before this, I can tell you that the phone doesn't suck whatsoever. In fact, with the physical keyboard I actually prefer it to the Sensation. I do like the big screen I must admit, but the MT4GS can do everything this phone can do (and the camera pummels this one). Yes, there's a lack of support for the phone despite having the same hardware as the Sensation, but don't knock their devs. For being so few, they've accomplished quite a bit.
If you want a ROM without sense, try Virtuous Inquisition. That one's as stable as almost anything here, with some nice OC/UV features that enhance battery life. If you want Sense, Virtuous PrimaDonna or Pyr'O'Ice Sensed (I believe they're now the same thing) work just fine for DD's. There are a few bugs, but that's to be expected with almost every ROM that does not have official support. As for GB ROMS, anything on there works pretty well, but people seem to be very fond of Bulletproof.
It is awesome to have all these ROMs to choose from now, but there are still some very good good (albeit few in number) ones for the Doubleshot.
Hurrah for vorbeth

XDA Sensation Developers Rock!!
I have to say that as a pretty new user here, the level of support from both Developers and also senior members is really fantastic. It really blows away other forums I have been part of previously.
I would also agree with the above. Coming from a Blackberry to my Sensation and Android was a big change for me. All of my answers were to be found for getting the device rooted and running a custom rom in no time.

Thanks for following the rules and using search.
check out the HTC HD2(Leo) section of XDA... i think that is the most dev friendly phone of all time
I'm newly registred to this forum but been looking around XDA since a few months back and never registred (really can't say why) and I must say that the atmosphere is great here on XDA, there is alot of support from devs as well as members of the site and I love it and the devs seems to know their thing. See you around the forums!
EDIT: I must agree with shee-b. All my questions already had answers and I as well got S-OFF and a custom rom running from a completly locked Hboot in no-time thanks to all the great guides and of course with a bit of help from the search function
Bad time to have a sensation, Has anyone else noticed the only consistant roms from developers now are ordroid and vorbeths ones? Haven't seen Baaad for a while and his rom says finished,Leedroid hasn't had an update since the One X. Not to seem rude but they seem to have taken the donations for a new device and buggered off :'(

Well, yes, on ine hand it does feel like it. On the other, there isn't much more to do.
I agree with whoever said that Hd2 is the best forum. Members are extremely helpful there.
I'm glad Sensation forum is becoming like that. Tou should have seen it a year ago, it was a right sh****le. Flaming, abuse, name calling.... You name it.

I must agree. I have successfully overcome my fears of rooting. The devs have all done fantastic work, and the guides are great.
This is already over at RootzWiki, but I thought I'd spread the news to XDA too!
Hey all,
So I've been working on a site (which went live earlier today) to serve as a repository for ROMs, kernels, recoveries, things like that, and even news- Mecha Centre.
I've noticed that the Thunderbolt community is dying a bit, not only because of the age of the Thunderbolt, but because of the whole RIL Ice Cream Sandwich fiasco which suggests that Thunderbolt development is dead without HTC's releasing updates.
I've created this site to help revive/keep the community of devs and users alive, as well as to make it easier to locate ROMs and other files one may need for their Thunderbolt.
We're still working on the site, but we already have some live links and news, and I encourage everyone to check it out! We try to keep ROM files so as to avert the dreaded 404 dead link, and our goal is to update often and keep up with the developers and their ROM releases.
You can find out more about this project at Mecha Centre and contact us with any questions, comments, suggestions, etc. via [email protected]
Thanks guys! Long live Thunderbolt!
Nice to see someone wants to continue but there are quite a few of these small starter sites now, i remember a few months ago when someone brought out their own as well, don't know what happened to it.. but I'm all for having a "good" rom mirror for all the old roms that seems to have no working links now.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
I didn't know this has been done before... Well Mecha Centre isn't going anywhere, especially since the site is free to host, I plan on keeping this repository available so long as people actually have Thunderbolts and use the site once in a while.
Thanks for the comment!
Well, I haven't been on in a few days, but I know there are a lot of ROMs still missing from Mecha Centre, I've flashed several ROMs over the past few days to help sort of distinguish one ROM from the other and help out newbies with ROM selection. With that in mind, I also plan to add screenshots, the way it looks now, I'm seeing one page per ROM to really get in the details.
I am also considering toning down the Ads a lot, not a little, a lot; I've made less than a quarter with it in the past few days, I don't see it paying the site's bills for the future. I've added a Donate button, which may or may not work at the present, it's being weird, at least for my test page...
As much as I'd like to add as many ROMs to Mecha Centre as possible- that's kind of the point of the site- many ROMs are virtually identical, I cannot tell you how many ROMs are a devs interpretation of the perfect Sense ROM or the perfect AOSP ROM. So while I plan on getting as many ROMs as possible up, I give priority to the "popular" ones, CM7, Liquid ICS, MIUI, etc.
Anyway good night all!
Your site needs some gingeritis 3D in its life

Noted, I'll add it with the rest I was planning to add today/tomorrow.

just posting this in your thread doesn't necessarily mean that a mod or staff member will see it, this site is large. it would be better to contact a mod directly and ask about it.
