Recently bought a Samsung galaxy 10.1 tablet.
I was wondering what the best case for it was.
Also!
I bought the Samsung case for the device and have been having issues when the flap closes, it presses the power button. I have had this happen multiple times already and when I go to use the device a few hours later, it is dead because the power button has been continuously held down.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what you have done to fix it.
Thank you in advance.

For the time being, I just put the tab in the case backwards so the headphones and buttons are on the side with the magnet, but now the case must be open to charge and when headphones are plugged in.
Temporary fix, but still hoping there is something better.
also the rfc is completely unaccessible with the case on upside down.

Im getting this wierd screen thing going on. Anyone seen this or possibly have a solution?
When I tap the screen it comes back on... If I keep taping it, it eventually stays on, untill I put it in the dock or remove it from the dock, or tap the screen again.
Screen was recently replaced, I know now that If I apply a small amount of pressure on the top left of the tablet the screen stays on, when I let go it goes back to what the video shows above.
Possibility
I knocked my tf off a bedside table and could not get the screen to come on half the time. First, plugging it in or docking it seemed to help.
Finally, it wouldn't come on at all though I could see the backlight was lit. Not exactly what you are experiencing, but one thing I would check is to see if it looks okay through HDMI out.
I ended up opening the case (not hard, search Google for teardown instructions) and tightening a black video cable near the battery that had come loose. It's been fine ever since. I found info about it on slatedroid.

and I guess I haven't posted here forever. My sig is like 4 years old.
had the same problem
I might help you because i had nearly the same issue. My TF worked fine and from one hour to the next the screen flicker appeared. I decided to check it without sending it for RMA. i opened it very carefull and found the internal LVDS micro connector being loose alltough it was fixed with tape in production line. But 0.5mm out of the correct position was enough to start to flicker and show inverted colours. I dont recommend to open the device if you dont know how you should do it or have no experience in electronics...in this case, better return it for RMA...good luck!
Does anyone know where i would go about buying the little solder on power button for the nexus S... im very confident in my soldering skills, but i have not the slightest clue where to start looking for such a small little microswitch.
Obviously the power button on my phone is going bad... it will turn the phone on but beyond that its about a 25% chance it will wake / put the phone to sleep.

I bought my official HTC Nexus 9 Padfolio/Keyboard case about five months ago. The idea of this piece of junk lasting 5 months without recharging is a joke.
Long story short I tried NFC pairing the keyboard after updating to 5.1.1 and the padfolio no longer turns on. I charged it last night and the red charging LED lit up. I tried to pair and nothing. I press the little button on the spine, no LED...
Anyone know how long these are warrantied or how easy it is to replace the battery? I don't feel like throwing $130 in the toilet.
I'm going on 4-5 months on mine just fine...

You should have a year
I am now in my second day of using the Galaxy S6, and have run into the same problem both days. The phone works fine in the morning and most of the afternoon. But after it's been on a while (in the evening), it behaves very erratically. The desktop buttons work unevenly and are sticky, and it's very difficult to type a text (or anything), since after a few letters, the keyboard letters disappear automatically, and I have to keep going back over and over until I've finished my message. It's a real pain.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks
Take it back. Sounds like you have a dud.

But in all seriousness, if you haven't rooted or messed with the system at all, and it's completely stock, there must be something wrong with your phone. It wouldn't do what you are describing unless something was terribly wrong. Take it back.
After I Odin'd back to stock, took the OTA and rerooted, I encountered very strange behavior. When I hit my Bluetooth quick toggles my volume up button would begin eratic behavior. Basically my volume up seems to have malfunctioned hardware wise. I reverted to stock, factory reset, wiped cache probably 10 times the last few days. No fix. So I determined it has to be hardware problem. Waiting on my replacement from Verizon.

My Note8 is stuck in safe mode because it got water damaged and therefor the volume down button doesn't work anymore, I have tried pretty much anything that is mainstream help like youtube and google searching. I will pretty much be stuck with a uselss phone for 2 weeks if theres nothing I can do as I'm currently on vacation.

Leave the phone off and pour some 91% isopropyl alcohol in the button and leave it infront of a fan for at least an hour and a half to 2.

If that doesnt work, then the buttons internal mechanisms have been shot and theres no hope on that. I had to replace a whole board because I didnt have the gear to replace just the button, but they are unfixable themselves. And because the note 8 is sealed, youll have to send it in
