[Q] T-Mobile UK stock ROM - HTC Sensation

Hi everyone, I'm in need of urgent help.
I S-Off, rooted, and installed LeeDroid on my mother-in-law's phone. We believe it has a hardware issue, so need to return it to HTC/T-Mobile for repair.
I've followed this guide to originally root it, and now to return it to stock. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300
Within this thread is a link to stock ROMs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074559
I installed the lateset TMOUS ROM, but it's not what it had originally, I'm assuming it's not UK specific?
Can anyone help? I tried to update the software via the phone but it failed. It said something about it being modified???
I also couldn't ask on the original thread due to my low post count.
Many thanks, Chris

Give a try with the old UK Ruu and update. Did you changed back the CID? I'm wondering why you are able to flash tmous when you changed back everything.
Tmous means T-mobile USA and that is deffently not a part of UK since some years.
You need the UK ones

I changed the CID when rooting it as per the guide, but didn't change it again while returning to S-ON. I don't know what it was originally? And to be honest, I have no idea what it is/what it does?

Do you have a link for the UK version? I can't see one in the thread?
Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

Was there a branding from t-mobile on the mobile ? I only see uk Vodafone in the thread ... maybe there is a generic uk rom or you can use the generic europe one...you can try the last europe ruu and check if it's the same before the installation of the leedroid.

The CID basically decides which ROM you can flash to your phone.
And of course I'm talking about RUU (Rom Upgrade Utility) which checks if you have the right CID to install the chosen ROM.
The SuperCID, is a code that gives you permission to install any RUU. Not just the one you should have.
So, when you got the SuperCID, you were able to install the USA version of the RUU.
You don't know the old Software Version and Radio you had?
Edit: I assume you did a nandoird backup, restore it and search for the RUU coresponding to software version and radio and so on...

OK, makes sense. I have no idea what the software version or radio was originally on it :'( I'll check my girlfriends phone tomorrow, she also has the Sensation on T-Mobile.

It looks like this is no longer possible with the OTA update? Tried it and it didn't work.
Has anyone been able to temp-root after taking the T-Mobile OTA update?
Is there another method, perhaps off XDA, that works?
Anyone?
No, pretty much all died once S-OFF was about. So long as you have the stock RUU that your phone is on at present (or nearest you can get) you can revert to stock at any time

Same problem
Having same problem. Updated to 1.45 T-Mobile OTA and now fre3vo exploit fails.
Desperately needing temp root to backup current stock ROM since seems like no T-Mobile European stock ROM (in my case Czech) is available for download
If anyone is aware of T-Mobile EU(CZ would be the best) RUU existence/download link I would really appreciate and will move into revolutionary.io way instead of looking for temp root.

[Q] Return to Stock (what is stock, anyways?) - how? Link?

I bought my Sensation used, with a ROM on it.
I want to return to stock stock stock. To the condition it was B4. (Of course, I still want ROOT and S-OFF, but I am assuming these won't be disabled).
I am T-Mobile USA
I did search. No avail. Please link?
Sorry!
Thanks
Stock is how you get the phone when you buy it, so without root, with s-on and a stock htc rom.
I don't really know if it is what you mean, but I guess you just want the stock htc rom? Then you have to download the RUU of your provider, which you can find here: [ROM]Shipped Pyramid ROM Collection
Good luck!

I have been trying to fix this for weeks since I got the phone....
I installed 1.17, and that did nothing but put me into a complete bootloop.
I put the modified version here that was posted Tessut, fixed permissions in 4EXT and booted into my ROM (Energy 3-15.12), and same ****...no sensors.
I have even installed the RUU for ICS from HTC (EU version only as there is no ICS RUU for TMOUS yet)...and then I installed my custom ROM and same issue.
I have tried the Stock Kernel and the Bricked Kernel (Bricked-3.0-v1.1-ics), and no success.
I AM SuperCID'd: 11111111
I am also noticing that I am not the only one with this problem with any fixes applied also. The hardware is functional, I have tested the chipsets individually and they are on and working, just no readings (events).
At this point I am ready to pay someone money if they come up with a successful fix. If you have a PayPal account I am more than willing to contribute a fair price if I can get this **** working!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have lost all hope on this :-(

@Tessut: I am guessing that this is the only solution we have now.....perhaps when the ICS release is finally made it will solve our problems.
Otherwise I have a phone here that is VERY frustrating to use with no sensors....

If you search this thread, you will find the RUU file (executable file that contains ROM, radio and firmware all in one). You just need to plug in, run the RUU and follow the prompts
You didn't specify your model so I'll point out that this is for the Sensation Z710A.

I just managed to flash the above... Had to manually put it into boot loader... Now phone won't turn on completely, similar to previous issues hence having to take it back to Telstra..

1.14.0004 give or take a zero and now I see it on the previous page not flash-able....
EDIT
fixed it using the super cid thread from HOX http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26516911#post26516911 to make sure imei was actually OK and correct and then I re-flashed Radio from Stock T-Mobile US 0.16.31501S.02_10.18.31501S.08L and re-flashing cm10 without a wipe or anything.
Better host?

Its my understanding that the CM roms come with a radio in a different partition, you might find that going to a sense based rom you won't have the radio working properly.
HBOOT Versions 1.13+ can't flash to the radio partition on sense based roms. So to flash the radio on a sense rom you will have to downgrade your HBoot, theres a sticky tutorial on how to do this.
