Better 3-button Launcher2 from Smoked Glass ROM (Phone+Web)

I came across Smoked Glass ROM for Motorola Droid and I fell in love with the Launcher2.apk, so I tested it and it works on the Nexus!
I've attached the Launcher2.apk from his ROM.
ALL CREDIT GOES TO AdamZ and his Smoked Glass ROM (alldroid.org) for Motorola Droid

Can you share the widget theme if possible?

adb push it to system/app

Yes, but they might have to delete existing Launcher2 using Terminal Emulator first. Well, thats what I had to do at least.

Can this launcher2.apk be installed on smokedglass 6 for moto droid. can it be done with the terminal emulator instead of adb?

this may just be happening to me but im getting FC's after installing the file..
im on cyanogen 5.0.6
anyone having the same problem?

Check the date on the last two posts this is an old thread probably just not compatible with 5.0.6.

This is not Beautiful Widgets, this is Weather Widget.
How to differentiate:
- Beautiful Widgets - weather icon always on lower right side.
- Weather Widget - weather icon in the lower middle.
Beautiful Widgets
Personally I more prefer this even though you can't get exact look of HTC sense one but for me it is much more beauty + much more customization.
Weather Widget
Beside changing the weather icon and skin of the clock, not much can be customize.
Original HTC Sense
Taken from Desire ROM for Nexus One. HTC one still always the best, you can seen the details is much more sharpen and nice.

Yeah, the bummer with these launcher2 skins is that they are running the old launcher2 that can't display 'quick contact' popups in the correct location, comprende? The popup is at the top of the screen, instead of the middle. I HATE that, lol. So does anybody know where the latest themed launcher2's are at?

Since NinjaMorph came out, I was able to do some quick on the go theming. Still working on it though. Next step is to make some dock icons white and look like they're apart of the glass dock. Still needs major re-work but I like it better than the glass table dock.

I currently have the latest fresh rom running with mattedblues theme over it. What your saying is that i can install the clock over fresh then reinstall mattedblues theme and I should be good?

That is correct, Ive done this myself to two difference Evo's.

Screen shot of what the clock flipping? Come on.. its a white clock with black letters (ya pick up your phone and look at it) AND IT FLIPS!!
My question is why is the file so big and how is it different the the HD Desire Flip clock that has already been posted? I'm going to have a look at it.
OK I don't understand why you need all those files. Did you fix it so the widget can be removed and added again? Other wise I'm not sure why you need the other files?
Here are the animated clocks i made one with the clear weather panel the other is a clear clock and panel.

Sorry if there was one already. I had posted at one time and XDA went down and my post with it. Im not taking credit for anything but just sharing. File is large because it was meant to be removed then added. Unfortunately im getting mixed info on that.

Yeah, I don't get what the extra files (system/framework folder) is for. It does exactly the same thing as DesireHDFlipSense.zip (which seems to work with Fresh 3.3.0.1) and also has the same problem of FC if removing the clock and attempting to add it again.

and I think it looks really nice. There has been lots of requests for the clock and Semicuda made an awesome widget for it, called TypoClock.
The widget is a little too small for my taste, and doesn't really replicate the original design. So I did some searches and modifications and came up with this.

HOW-TO:
You will need Widget Locker. Find it on Market.
I took vsxed's modified TypoClock and made some tweaks to make it play nicer with Arial font. I also used frostman89's PNG's for Widget Locker and changed the font to Arial.
1. Download slider_iphone.png and slider_iphone_background.png from the attachments
2. Pull the widget locker apk from your phone, replace the two png's in /res/drawable-hdpi, and push it back (details here)
3. Download typoclock_arial.apk and install
4. Activate Widget Locker, use iPhone slider, maximum background tint, and hide notification bar
5. Remove all widgets and add TypoClock widget
6. Done
This is specifically made for Arial as the system font. Expect weirdness if your ROM uses anything else.
Made for WVGA devices only.

SWEEEETTTT!!!!!! im using your modified version of the "clock" it is a little weird looking when i was using the comforta font, and the droid sans....but it looks pretty cool still! thank you for making the clock!

Yes it will, unfortunately.

Which version of the clock is this based on? latest is 0.4 and has lots of fixes not included in the last "big" version posted in the original thread

Lol sorry the question was directed at the OP, I want the cut off look but as you can see, our font doesn't align the same way the arial does.

i just tired to download widgetlocker from the market and it wouldn't download. I really want this lockscreen

kinda off-topic but i don't wanna start a new thread for this but,
is there anyway to NOT be able to pulldown the notification bar while the screen is locked using widget locker? it kinda defeats the purpose of a lockscreen if you can still access the phone lol

All the version in here are .21, which is an old one that has the RAM bug. Need one from .35 or higher (prefer .4 if possible).

Make sure it's enabled in preferences and make sure it's not on the SD card. Has to run from Internal Phone memory to work.

Having no problems on my device. What do you mean off line?

If you look at the first post on the flip clock 7:41 is shifted a little to the left instead of being centered on the tiles. On mine it is even more to the left.

Most of them do not work on my CoreDroid ICS ROM.

It wont work with Sense or?

My guess is that your running it in the sense launcher, ran a coredroid rom on my previous phone, Lots of widgets don't work in the sense launcher

for now push it to system app using root explorer or another method and set permissions, I'll fix the zip later

The LG clock is working for me in Nova Launcher and Trebuchet..
But the timings are quite off and aligned towards the left..
If i try to adjust the size of the widget, the time gets even more misaligned.

Looks good. Except for the clock text is offset from the background.
