I recently bought Dungeon Hunter 2 from Gameloft.Installed it,it then downloads the data but once it finishes downloading the data and tries to start the game i get the message "The application Dungeon Hunter 2 (process com.gameloft.android.TBFV.GloftD2HP) has stopped unexpectedly.please try again.
Then i am forced to close.
I have tried different sites to download it and the same thing happens.
Does anyone else have this problem ? ,i know at least one other person this has happened to.
Has anyone managed to get Dungeon Hunter 2 to work ??

Not sure if this is correct,the game is also been sold in Poland.Also I have downloaded the apk from Gameloft Australia.
I have the exact same problem. Just bought DH2 3D and after downloading the Data files, it force closes!

Thats interesting,the first time i went to buy this game was from the Poland website,i bought it through my pc,not my phone.
So i paid for it and when i went to download it, the page said i couldnt download it because my phone was not a LG Optimus 3d.
So then i went and bought it again from the Gameloft America website and was able to download it ,but thats when i got the force close error,next day i tried to download from the Australian website though my phone and still got the force close thing.
So i have paid for the game twice and its still not working , i wonder if the Poland apk is any different from the USA and Australian apk ?
Are you using the Thrill or Optimus and what country are you from ? thanks

What firmware u use??
Stock v10.E rooted, but NOT with Performance Pack 2x
It's been removed from the US site now.
I tried it on my thrill, same error as others here.
I did notice mine was under normal apps and not the 3d section?
Could this be a clue or is it only that way on my phone?

Looks like they have fixed the problem with DH2 ,it is now working for me using the latest version.Still does not show in my 3d menu only in the app menu.. but at least it is working.
is it just me, some of the 3d game has very poor fps .
dungeon hunter 2 in 3d mode is not very smooth??

My FPS seems fine but the only thing that appears to be in 3D is the hud, the characters and environment are all in 2D. I turned my device to the left slightly so I'm viewing from a very slight right angle and than the environments come into 3D but the text and hud look bad. Also DH2 doesn't even appear in my 3D apps section so that may be part of the issue. MC2 and Spiderman both work alright and appear in the 3D section.
My dh2 works fine but it's not in the 3d menu.

Has anyone got any games running on the Psx4Droid? I can't seem to get it working. It freezes on me when i load the game.
I tried 2 games, cat with a hat. (Small download size just to check)

Beware you cant load games while the play has a memorycard connection to your pc. Found that out the hard way.
Jea, can confirm. Spyro the Dragon don´t work, DOA, FiFa and so on. Hangs on start and crash after some time.

I think it's an issue with Android >2.2, as his blog also mentions problems with the Xoom and Nexus S devices. He's working on it, so I'm sure it'll be fixed soon.

Nope, it´s not available for free (yet).
3.0.4 is out now but still crashes on the Play.

Downloaded from zodttd but it just froze on start up every time so couldn't use it. I have been told FPSE works well but not tried it myself.

I read some threads about the gameloft store which opens and gets you to the optimus 3D page... Well my phone doesn't have that button...
When I click on the 3D button of the phone, the 3D menu opens and there is an option called 3D Games and programs but when i click it all I see are the 3D apps and games installed. What's the trick here? Anyone knows? :S
just choose applications on your homescreen and then its under : 3D-Applications called 3D games just click it and you will be redirected to the gameloft site and it will show you all the 3d games there

No it's a silver joypad with 3D written under it - it's on one of the home screens also. I wouldn't worry since it's not actually an app as such, but a link to the gameloft website for 3D content. I'm sure you can find the same link on your browser and just bookmark it

Haha yeah the problem was that I use an app called Go launcher and somehow I managed to check and hide that silver joypad .

umm, I just noticed that when I enter this 3d games place, I can buy them only for 0.99 GBP, there isn't any free games what I actually could get except those 4 which I had already from begining? O.O

Still a good deal though, most of the non 3D versions of those games are still at least twice as expensive through the market or site.
Also, I think that they give you the first game for free. Once you've gave all your details and stuff the confirmation balance should be 0.00 even thought it says buy for 0.99
Don't take this for definite though, maybe that was for a limited time

I'm hearing a lot lately from this game. Is it really that great and is it even possible to play that game on a non tegra device with chain fire? I would love to see monster madness on our phone

Order & Chaos version of I9100, works very well for O3D. This version works without Chainfire.
O&C 1.0.1 is not working for me even with Chainfire 3D and the nvidia plugin enabled

Ok guys, i finaly found out how to play Order & Chaos with the O3D .
At first do you need root, its not working without and the "chainfire 3D Pro" app.
At next you have to edit with "root explorer" the /system/build.prop file, be sure to mount r/w (be carefull with this, if you do something wrong your phone won't boot anymore so do a nandroid backup before changing anything).
This is what you have to enter at the build.prop
ro.product.model=Optimus 2X
ro.product.model.internal=
ro.product.brand=lge
ro.product.name=lge_star
ro.product.device=p990
ro.product.board=p990
If everything is done, reboot your phone.
If the phone is booting you done everything right. At next you have to install the NVidia driver to your phone with "chainfire 3D pro" and activate "Hide CF3D ID" (only in the pro version and necessary).
Now download the data for O & C.
1.0.2 version of O & C should now be no problem for you to play.

I managed to get GTA III mobile on my inspire and it runs great. Very little lag even with the extra effects enabled and without overclock.
However, the accelerometer seems to be 90 degrees offset, I have to hold the phone portrait in order to steer straight and steers hard right/left depending on which landscape I'm in. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?
How is your accelerometer doing in other apps?
If it's not responding as desired, you can download/try one of the accelerometers calibration apps found in the market.

I have plenty of other accelerometer/racing games and never had this problem. Something to do with GTA III. I'll try calibration.
Personally I'd try redownloading the app and try it again

I downloaded when prompted. Tried calibration and still no fix.
I just tested it on my phone and it also bugs.
I really don't know what it could be.
You could try other ROMs.
I've actually tested 3 different roms myself, but they didn't prove much difference in performance for me.

I have the same problem on my htc sensation, you have to hold the phone upright, aill look around and post here if i find a fix.
im running the the newest beta ics on my inspire it runs great for about 20 secs of play then the hole phone freezes i am oc,d tho but also have tried on gb builds and same thing happens havent tried using the acc but i need to figure out why it freezes any ideas i do skip the beginning intro doubt that would be the prob ive downloaded the data twice just to be sure and same prob even with chainfire disabled on the gb build same thing
edit works on miui 1.12.23 and im on the 1.2 now

What version GTA III do you have?
V1.1 quit after playing some 30, 40 sec.
1.0 appears to be fine.
Edit: doesn't quit, it freezes, having to "battery pull"(it's not even a force quit).

The issue persist for me on 1.3 as well
I heard is it's a compatibility problem; when a game is built to be played in a tablet, where it's default screen is landscape, the accelerometer in the game will play normally, but when playing the game in a phone, witch is made to be always in portrait, (badly made games dont know it's in portrait) the game wont compensate for the 90 degrees between sideways and upward position.
If you downloaded a hacked version or whatever, didn't get it from the market, this may be the issue.
Edit, idk if the explanation was too confusing, I just woke up.
technically it works like this:
If a game built to be played on tablet, or badly built game:
When played on tablet: 0 degrees difference in accelerometer.
When played on phone: 90 degrees difference (from landscape to portrait devices) that the accelerometer SHOULD compensate for, but doesn't. Same with the tablet, if the game is playable in both landscape and portrait, it should compensate those 90 degrees when switched screen modes...

as they said. it fixed and loaded the game and also played it for some time,but now things changed after one game play i plugged in the charger because of low battery and closed the game without exiting.and the game now struck's at gameloft logo i thought i have to wait but my phone says that "mc3 isn't responding". please tell me solution to play this game on galaxy core 2 it is rooted.

Modern Combat 3 is riddled with startup, lag and freeze issues for users with a wide range of devices. I think it's best to wait for a fix from Gameloft in the form of game updates.

Yeah but gameloft released mc 4 and mc 5 . i don't think they will release fix for mc3.

As long as they are still selling it, they should strive to fix bugs. But let's not get into that discussion as I can't speak for Gameloft. What I'm trying to say is that it is most probably a game related issue and finding an OS level fix for it may be futile. I'd advise waiting for an update or asking in threads dealing with this issue (there seems to be numerous MC3 bug threads)
