did you try to price match it to Dell US?

i recently got mine with the bundle from tigerdirect.ca, its an alright case, but i little too bulky, and they didnt seem to think the design through too much, the top right corner holder is covering the VOL UP button...
the "horizontal stand" feature with 3 different angles is alright tho, and the elastic strap keeps the case closed pretty well too...
all in all, i dont really recommend it, but if the price is right, its better than nothing

ya i agree with your points!
I just got it in my mail yesterday, but $13 it really cannot go wrong!

I bought this case shortly after getting my TouchPad (paid full price) and I think it's great. It is a little bit bulky, but that just gives the TouchPad more protection which is part of the reason why I picked it up.
The volume button is covered up a little bit, but it is still very easy to use.
I had a very similar Targus case for my nook color, and it held up very well to my abuse.

The 1st case discribed looks exactly like the Targus Truss for iPad [email protected] I just got. It fits good on my TP.

It's similar to my case, which I got on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/r...h=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005J064XS

Hopefully they will have more variety soon.
Seems like a nice case. I might try it out. Been looking for a nice case but nothing so far.
I went ahead and got one. I will post pics and impressions one I get it (and my phone back).
Lmao this is the exact case dcmugen sells on eBay including a Martin fields equivalent SP for 4.99 shipped.
dcmugen88 is selling that case on ebay for just a few bucks.
heh, ah well. I never shop at eBay. Not worth the effort of cancelling.
Gonna order my ultra case tonight its not the same as the ones on ebay.... the ebay ones r knock offs
... except the eBay one came out to the market first
You can be sure that the Ultra Case ones come out of the same Chinese factory as the eBay ones.
Is this case thin enough so that the sleeve can still go over it I wonder? I'll check you the ebay one also then.
Looks a bit too plain for me. I'm going to wait for some newer designs. Like the fancy kind they make for iphone/ipodtouch
The link now takes me to the main page, can't find the ones for Nexus One .

I ordered one today Express Delivery.. Im assuming they ship out of China tho so who knows when I'll see it.
Ive been torn about a case because I use the Google Dock but Id rather take the phone in and out of the case than have it get damaged not having one. Hopefully the case comes off and on easily.

nice alternative to the HP case. If I didn't already have the HP case, I'd get that one. Only other case I've seen that doesn't cover up the whole bezel...
nice find

Two of the Incipio cases arrived in the mail for me today, one black and one tan. They are actually pretty decent for $14.99. I do like the canvas over the fake leather ones I picked up.

Did you order the Kickstand version? and did it look like the one from the video review 2 posts above?
They redesigned the case. It's a revision. If you look at the iPad one and compare it to the Touchpad one... The iPad one is flat on the inside where the Touchpad has a cut out for the camera.
FBFAN2011 gives you 15%.
Case is $14.99 and the shipping is free.
$12.74. I just got mine today. I ordered it on the 31st and got it today. 3 days all the way from CA. I live in PA. Incipio service is amazing. They offered to exchange the tan one I ordered for the black one since they just got them in stock. I was so impressed with the service and product, I went ahead and ordered another one.

It doesn't look like the Incipio case has the cutout for the ambient light sensor though.
It the case is held with the camera at the top there should be a hole in the top-right corner for the sensor. Otherwise, auto-brightness won't work (which I guess a lot of folks won't mind as the case looks very nice).
I actually got away from auto brightness.

I got the ACase that is reviewed in the video. It is a bit more expensive but apears to be well built. While the video touts the hooked tab that holds the case closed, it sticks out the bottom when the cover is just folded back under. Otherwise this case is designed for the TP, fits extremely well, and seems to be of high quality and sturdy.
Thanks for the info. Mine arrived a couple of days ago. Pretty good for $15, but the camera and home button cutouts are off by about a half an inch. It's not perfect but much nicer looking than the depressing stitched leather case Aaron's bundled the TP with.

Seidio Desktop Dock-Landcape

I had to use my ebay bux before they expired and got the Seidio desktop cradle, landscape version. In the box is a travel charger and the dock of course. With it, installed the insert already there so that you can use the dock out of the box without a case. The great thing about this dock is that I have the Seidio Active case with kickstand (also have the holster as well but that's another thread lol) and to use this dock all you need to do is remove the insert. Viola! the case fits the dock perfectly!
And another thing for all you guys/gals/ghouls and ghosts.....the dock actually launches the clock or dock mode. I prefer it didn't personally, because the wife hates it when the screen lights up in the middle of the night.
Taking the phone on and off the dock is pretty self-explanatory. You have to pretty much line up the port with the phone so that it seats properly. Any deviation from the angel will just not work.
On the back of the dock is the Seidio logo. When plugged in via AC or USB, the dock has a line that "underlines" the word Seidio. IMO better than any LED blaring.
The only negative I have for this dock, besides the price...which brings me to another topic....craigsdocks.com, my initial PORTRAIT dock, made in the good ol' USA and still going strong and much better build quality IMO, which can be purchased for a few dollars more, but worth it in every way. The only thing is with craigsdocks.com, when docking, those docks DO NOT go into any dock mode, but can be finagled by using a good conditional program like llama profiles.
Now back to topic..lol....the only negative for the Seidio dock is that in my instance, when docked and goes into dock mode, the phone gets too warm for my tastes. I downloaded an app called no dock from the market to keep it from going into dock mode and since then the temp of the phone has dissipated.
Bottom line, would I recommend this dock? For what I paid for it, hell yes. At full retail of 30 usd? Not really, I'd pay about 20 usd shipped.
Here are the pics snapped up today. Enjoy! As usual, post any questions you may have.

I wouldn't advise to buy directly from the retailer unless you have personal preferences to do so. I saved a bunch by looking on ebay from a reputable seller. That reminds me, I forgot to give the seller feedback lol....
I have this dock to, I love it. It works with all the cases I have except for the otterbox that I had. Definitely well worth the 19 dollars I spent on it.

I found this case on Amazon .
Did anybody of you already buy it?
It looks very good, and the aluminium plate inside the case should give a very good protection if you put your Nexus 4 in a rucksack or bag with some other things.
Is there a similar leather case with some sort of protection built into it? Because the main downside of this bag is its high price...
Looks like a quality product but the price is pretty high to buy it without any reviews.
Looks good, but $30? Probably not. I'll think about it when it's $20 since it's aluminum plated on ONE SIDE ONLY.

I've ordered it but it won't ship for another week or two. I currently have the SGP Crumena leather pouch for my Galaxy Nexus. They aren't making one for the N4, so I had to hunt down for another similar pull tab case. The only ones I found are this one and another from PDair but theirs does not have the pull tab. I had a Proporta leather case for my old iPod Touch and found it to be very good quality.
Maybe I don't get it, but won't this shield the phone from cell/wifi/etc)

I think you are right, but as richteralan said - the aluminium plate is one side only, and the antennas are on the back - so they should work fine.
I bought one. I'm not typically into these types of cases, but heck, why not?! I've spent $30 on dumber things
Got an email from them. They cancelled my order because of "compatibility issues". Seems like they were intending to use one of their cases for another phone for the N4 and it doesn't fit properly? who knows. pretty annoying though.
Heads up! I bought it before it got discontinued. Just tried it out.
They are right.. It doesn't fit. It's waaaay too tight and the phone doesn't fit all the way in That's a real bummer imho. That's the best looking leather case out there in my opinion.
So if anyone knows of a similar case. Please let me know Doesn't need to Nexus 4 exclusive. Just Nexus 4 compatible

I've always been curious about Portenzo. How are their cases? It's hard to justify buying one when the Nexus 7 was only 250 after tax but the with N9 being 600 dollars, the though has seriously crossed my mind. Also, how long does it usually take to ship?

They are awesome, but be warned they do offer protection, but in my case I dropped it and ended up breaking the bamboo. I glued it back together and it was fine, but its not a Otterbox .

I ordered mine 2-3 days ago; this will be my fourth Portenzo case (N7 2012, 2013, and then I have one for my retina iPad Mini).
According to an email from their customer service, they're themselves waiting on their N9 to arrive, once that happens they'll start shipping 2-3 weeks later.

That's a bit disappointing to hear, but it is expected with it being so close to the release window. I'm still looking forward to it, got a bookcase (Morocco black).
The only major downside other than the wait is was the price. Dang, it cost me 120 dollars after shipping and a 10% discount. I've heard that the customer support is great as well so I'm looking forward to the case. I have high expectations.
I guess this is good to disguise your tablet so you're less likely to get mugged for it.

It does provide some drop protection, but may break in the process of protecting the tablet.
Sorry to revive a super old thread, but does someone happen to know how well the MagnaGrip magnets work with keeping the cover closed on the Nexus 9? I have seen on other tablets that without an elastic, the hardback cover tends to flop open because the magnets are weak and the cover is stiff and new.
I'd like to try and ditch the elastic if it's possible. Any experience with this would be much appreciated!
