I find an anamoly here. When u turn on the battery saver when yr messenger status is offline,it seems to drain.
But when i turn back the messenger to online and use battery saver, the battery holds better.
Is there any hidden process going on in a loop which can drain the battery?
Maybe battery saver is trying to turn off messenger but couldn't so a process is looping endlessly?

Hi guys,
I have a vodafone 858 (android 2.2) phone. Its battery usage screen isn't giving proper information of power consumption. It shows only these items all the time, like this >
android system 96%
cell standby 4%
phone idle 2%
It has never shown the power consumption of other things. such as display, camera etc.
How can I solve this ?
its normal. It shows you what has been using the battery more and not what is draining it.If you want rhe camera and other stuff to show up just use them and you gonna see that they will appear
@ [email protected] no dude, Its not showing when I used camera. other thing is the display, that is one of the most battery drain things of a phone, but I have never seen battery usage of the screen in battery usage screen.
Also I'm using twitter, facebook and browser all the time, but the damn battery usage screen has never shown them.
damn it..Maybe the usage indicator is non-functional.Try downloading spare parts or betterbatterystats. If you wanna reduce the screen battery drain turn off animations, the screen sensor, haptic feedback and lower brightness
Is there a way to monitor the battery life BEFORE it completely dies?

If you want to check your battery swipe down from the watchface. From there it shows the battery life, network status, a shortcut for the music app, a do not disturb mode, and you can access the brightness.
Thanks leaning something new everyday with this
Samsung Galaxy S Advance has a really poor battery life and really bugs me. Here are a few tips and tricks that can seriously extend your battery life.
1. Greenify:
A great app to save battery by hibernating the app. I personally feel this is the best battery saver on the play store.
2. Battery Saver:
One more best way is to turn on android L & M 's feature of battery saver. Also turning on airplane mode really helps.
This lest you have battery power for really long periods of time.
3. Stopping apps:
Go to battery settings, see what apps are consuming battery , click them and force stop them.
These tricks personally worked for me and I think you should try them too
Good Day Guys
As you all know, when we turn on the battery saver option, it would be turned off automatically when your device is charging. And we have to turn it on again. How can we just get it on all the time or if there is any alternative to this. Thanks
hebf optimizer
works for that and also can disable google services from running while the screen is off which was a big battery drainer for me.

I have downloaded that. But when I enable Improve battery, it does not turn on battery saver in the settings. Does this means it uses different method of battery saver from the dafault ones?
Hi.
I have been experiencing Battery Drain in my P20Pro lately. Saw the battery consumption alert and can see that it says Awake all the time even though the screen is off!!
Have hard reset my phone to no use. Any ideas!

Maybe install an app like better battery stats, it'll show what app or process is causing battery drain.
Check your EMUI version. The last one that did not drain battery for me was 10.0.0.161. I reverted back to that and disabled the update feature via adb shell. Also, look at power consumption details » software. I found out that google play was draining my battery overnight (around 10% ). I have disabled it and I only install apks now. All Huawei bloatware disabled via adb also.
I'm facing exactly the same problem Whene I'm traveling.
I'm on emui 10.0.0.180
