Link list of applications in the sense of the launcher - HTC Sensation

Hello, is there a way to change the sense of connecting the launcher to the list of applications with any app that allows the creation of folders?
Thanks in advance

no one knows if there is such a thing?

You mean, to change the lower left button from opening the app drawer to something else? No, not by any customization you can do without re-coding something...
Sense has the possibility to create folders on one of the seven homescreens.
Or better, get an app organizer from the market and put your apps into the folders as you like...

I told you if you could change the link to some of the app drawer app that permatta creating folders, and anyway I have a cooked rom

[IDEA/REQUEST]Subfolders in apptray (a more organized app tray)

is there a way i can set a subfolder in my app tray
EG:
when i pull my app tray up instead of seeing a grid/list of every apk installed i can create/select/name subfolders....
if im not making sense yet i mean instead of opening my app tray and seeing browser messaging maps and market and my games etc.. all together. i can open my app tray and create/see subfolders and make it like "system tools---->contains system related apps or apps i place in subfolder" "games----> contains games or apps i would place in subfolder"
I know we can creat subfolders on the desktop of android or "launcher/rosie desktop" but i wanna create these subfolders in my app tray and populate them as such
if this idea is a plausible concept i would like some info on where i could start to add these kinds of codes .... because the folders for APP and APP_S file structure will have to stay the same EG (no subfolders within the APP and APP_S folders as not to interfere with system functions) but android would have to have a list compiled when it pulls the app tray to say
create new Subfolder id='games' in apptray
contains: "/system/sd/com.doom.apk;/system/sd/com.snesoid.apk"
end subfolder
(note: NO IDEA HOW TO CODE JAVA APLETS OR LINUX..but this is the only way i can think to convey the info)
id like to persue this idea as it would make my app tray much less cluttered and i think users with LOTS of apps would enjoy this any thoughts and input would be appreciated
I Like It
Sounds like a great idea
Already done. See HERE

It is specific to the launcher, Not to sure if you use the home replacement method of installing if it'd work on hero.

id still like to use rosie i like the way it looks (lame i know)
so if i can port that code out of the advanced launcher to the rosie.apk im pretty sure the structure to build the app tray would be the same
if my roommates computer is home when i get back from work ill look through the apks and see whats up
what files would the apptray commands be stored in?

We don't have the source code for Rosie, so I don't think it's possible with some *major* hacking...

would it be as deep as needing the source code? OR can we open the item in rosie.apk that generates the apptray?
Use dxTop. In my opinion it has a MUCH better way of using categories than the advanced launcher, plus as of this morning it has live folders for your categorized apps. Love it.

This seems very difficult without having the source code as AdrianK points out...The source code is where these changes need to be made...not some file/folders in the apk...

AnyCut and BetterCut don't work with new update

Sorry, I posted this in the General forum at first but got no responses. I think it's better suited here.
I searched high and low on xda and on google for a solution to this and couldn't find anything.
Has anyone else noticed that anycut and bettercut no longer work with the newest EVO update? I've been trying to create shortcuts and it will say Shortcut Created even though nothing was really created. Either that or it won't say anything at all.
Is there any other solution to creating your own icons on your phone? This was one of my favorite features and it pains me that it's gone because I'm developing my own phone icon set and I kind of NEED to have that ability to test how they look on the phone...
Are there any other apps that can do this with the new EVO update? Any alternate solutions?
Folder Organizer will work.

You can change the icons in folder organizer. when you add a shortcut to the desktop, tell it to add a folder organizer item.

.... yes of course, but, the folder icon not reflect the content in the folder. GoLanucher permits to create a "live icons" or a "widget"? that display the contents of folder. I'm looking for an app or widget that do the same thing.
And no, i don't install GoLaucher because is not smoot as ADWex (for me) .

Idk
I did search in the Market for 2 minutes. I tried it and think its a bit difficult but it looks to be the only one.
Folder organizer lite (or pro of course)

Idk
Why even bother manually creating folders and manually putting things in them and manually doing everything???
Just get Auto App Organizer, Its [email protected] sweet!
It will automatically organize all your apps into categories, These categories can be placed onto homescreen as folders with your choice of icon

[Q] Is it possible to create folders in the main app menu?

I just figured out I can make folders on my gsll phone in the app menu. (Not the home screens) I can put all the carrier BS and other app icons I don't want to see in there. It brought my app screens to 3 swipes from 5. Is that a standard Android feature or something Samsung added in with touchwiz? I would be interested in doing the same on my tablet.
That sounds like a Samsung Touchwiz feature. As far as I know, stock app drawer does not support folders/dedicated pages.
However, you can simply get a non-stock launcher such as Apex or Nova and they support app drawer folders, plus a multitude of extra features lacking in the stock launcher

That is possible, just use a third party launcher. I think nova has is
OK cool. I will check out those programs. I figured one of those would do the trick but wasn't sure if I was missing something. Thanks!

I've never used third party launchers myself, since I think that the stock launcher on the Infinity is rather cool

Any known apps working from Lockscreen?

Hi,
I'm looking for kind of apps working from lockscreen.
Like some shortcuts, launcher etc. There are lots of apps like omniswipe, sidebar launcher and lots of floating lunchers but non of them worked for lockedscreen.
You have to unlock the screen to see the launchers dot.
Any apps you know?
PS: I'm on magazine unlock.
Thanks.

for AL-10 model correct file was:
/system/emui/china/xml/hw_defaults.xml
<string
white_music_for_keyguard="com.spotify.music" />
Thank you but other than a shortcut what i meant. Something like fast dial, quick launch such things.
Thanks.
