I know there are similar threads out there for other phones. But is there a list for our Infuse?
I'm running the Infuse 2.1 Rom with Mike's daily driver kernel. So, with that out there, what are a few safe apps/services to freeze?
Anyone? Anyone? Beuhler?

Hi everyone, I'm new on these forums and after looking through the forums, was unable to find a solution or even anyone else who seems to be having the same problem as me.
My problem: I recently rooted my mytouch 3g 1.2 and flashed to the latest cyanogen rom. The OS was noticably faster but I also noticed that my IM app was nowhere to be found. I am able to install apps with no problem and the OS is perfectly fine with the exception of the occasional lag. I currently have AIM installed but I prefer the stock IM app. Can anyone advise me on what I can do to regain my stock IM app? Thanks in advance.
Can anyone help? :\
think you need to be a bit more specific then "stock im"
only im I know that is stock for most windows mobiles
is messenger
It's a MyTouch. Android phone. And I'm talking about the stock IM app in 1.6.
hey guys i got my optimus v and i love it, but i have installed a few apps and it is lagging and i still cant play .avi files. i figured that OCing would fix this. so i was wondering could someone give me a complete list of roms that will work? i already have my phone rooted. and as for the rom i would very much like to not change anything, all i want is overclocking and tethering to work. or could someone show me how to modify the stock rom to let me do those two things?
tethering should work no problem with "wifi tether" app from the market IF you have rooted your phone.
i am having problems getting overclock to stick after returning to homescreen.
Stock deodexed with crapware removed and also the CYANOGENMOD 7
Hi All,
I am new here, and sorry if this has been posted before, however I haven't had any luck finding it.
I have recently rooted my Samsung Fascinate, and am looking for a complete list of bloatware that is safe to remove using TitaniumBackup.
I am currently running 2.1 -update1
Thanks in advance!
Head over to the Fascinated forums, we have a ton of options. You can upgrade to Froyo, run cyanogen or MIUI, and theme and clean to your heart's content.

Hello all.
I'm currently running SuperAosp 6.4 (and I'm very satisfied)
Some of the settings crash and I can glean from the forums that it might be connected with what kernel I'm using.
(current kernel is 2.6.35.7-SuperAosp-S-UV) what are the benefits of using another?
Which is good for me? (build is GRI54 - a europhone)
Also, radio? I've tried flashing different ones with varying results, I'm currently on 19023XXKB1 - is there a newer one?
How do I figure out what kernels and radios are meant for my phone?
Edit: Also, I'd love to update to 2.3.4 but keep my lovely drop-down-menu-power-control-thing.
If anyone answers maybe this could become a how-wat-sticky
Apologies if this has been covered before but I've searched everywhere and couldn't find an answer.
My q's are:
- Is there a definitive list of P5110 bloatware that can be safely frozen without trashing the device?
- I'm trying to reduce lag so should i be freezing or uninstalling and help in reducing lag?
- I did find a list for the P3110 but wasn't sure if this was relevant, is it?
Thanks.
The safest way to remove bloatware would be to flash a custom rom.

I could do but I'd like to keep it close to stock to avoid any stability or reliability issues with a custom Rom.
I did find this list for the P3100 and also this list for the Galaxy Apollo - are either of these lists still current or relevant to the Tab 2?
Anyone? I'm looking to remove Google Now and plenty of the Samsung bloatware. Any help much appreciated.
