[Q] BTMono? - T-Mobile LG G2x

Which ROM would provide the best balance of having BTMono work, being able to OC to 1.5ghz & no reboots ... please?

A2dp doesn't work on aosp roms, so stick to an ota based rom. 2.3.3 for gingerbread.

My understanding of the btmono app is that it streams audio to a mono bluetooth earpiece .. no a2dp needed ...
I see that they have the app for froyo, but not for gb ....

Btmono doesn't work on any roms I've tried. Gotta love nvidia.

[Q] Music Player that supports A2DP?

Don't know if this is the right place to post this, so move it if it's not.
I have a Desire HD with MIUI and i'm looking for an app that supports A2DP. I think the stock HTC Sense player supports it, but i'm not sure. But i can't use it now since, well, MIUI. I've searched for A2DP on the Market, but didn't find anything special.
So does anyone have some ideas on how i can get this to work?
Thanks in advance
I think you are looking for "mort player"
The built in Android music app should work just fine...as well as apps like WinAmp... I can't imaging any media app now days that wouldn't.
I have HD bluetooth stereo headphones and they work just fine using any media app.
Thanks Trying to connect to the car stereo. Gonna try Mort Player and some other ones.

AD2P isn't something that is based on the music player being used. It is based on the device hardware. If their bluetooth hardware supports it, then it will work. The only aspect of AD2P that I believe is controlled with the software are the playback controls.
If you are hooking up to your car audio, it might have to do with the car's bluetooth hardware/software. Sometimes you can take your car to the dealer and they can install software/driver updates for your car's bluetooth. May try calling them and seeing if there is an update for your car.
I have the Desire HD, and it supports A2DP. I'm trying to connect it to Pioneer FH-P80BT (Clicky) which supports Bluetooth audio aka A2DP.
I'm running MIUI btw.
Then in theory it should work just fine. If it simply won't work no matter what you try with your phone...then contact the dealer and see if there is an update for your car's audio software.
I'll test it further tomorrow and see if it works
I thank you all for your replies
And yes, i'll press the thanks button when i'm around a computer

Hello ppl, sorry to revisit this again, but I have Miui on my DHD with a Motorola HT820. For some reason the BT audio for call work great, but audio streaming will start and then drop out (no sound, but the music player is still going), then suddenly the BT connection will drop. Any ideas?
On the Sense 3.0 this function works fine. Just to make sure its not the headphones, I paired it with my Iphone 4 and that too worked flawlessly. Could there be a bug related to the Miui port for DHD?
Thanks for any help
Since this is MIUI related it might be better to ask in a MIUI thread

[Q] AOKP m6 audio stuttering

Hi I'm just wondering if there is a fix for a problem I'm having, when I play music it stutters the sound I've tried different music players to resolve the problem with no luck. Any advice would be great

I'm having the same problem. But only with AOKP roms, started after build 39. And I dont have the issue with CM9 or Sense 3.6 or 4 based ROMs, but i really love the toggle switches in the AOKP notification widget
did u full wipe before upgrading rom? because AOKP is known to have audio routing issues and it is fixed in some version (sorry, i did not keep up with the updates)
hope it helps =)

I've run into this problem as well, and yes I do a "format everything but SD card" prior to installing each ROM.
I noticed it first in the AOKP-based ROM EyeCandy 3.0. Whatever the dev memnoc did between that and the final 3.1 release fixed it, as a clean install of 3.1 removes the audio issues.
I'm still having the issue with the AOKP-m6 based ROM Supreme Blue
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767064
I've tried a bunch of rumored fixes:
installed awesome beats - audio still skips, but it now skips in high fidelity lol
installed DSP manager - did absolutely nothing, save provide me with an equalizer for the skipping audio
installed poweramp - this fixed the audio, however it was ONLY fixed when playing media through poweramp. Slacker, Pandora, TuneIn, Dood's Music, etc. all STILL had skipping audio issues.
My guess is that one of the default system audio libs isn't behaving nicely. Poweramp I would guess circumvents this with by using its own lib?

Bluetooth app for ICS?

I was using the supermonofroyo app with cm7 and it worked great. Now with cm9 and ics, I can't get that app to work. I need something similar to get my headset to work to play audio through it. Has anyone found an app that works with ics?

[Q] Android 4+ Audio problem

I've been with this issue with all android 4+ roms. (AOKP ICS, AOKP JB, CM9, CM10)
When I'm playing music, I'm getting distorted audio when I turn the volume all the way up while I'm using headphones. I tried with different headphones and it's all the same, and the issue is not there when using the speakers.
I also tried changing the settings on the DSPManager app, I set the equalizer preset to Bass Reducer and it actually reduced the distortion. but it's still there.
So, is there a fix for this? or maybe a specific DSP config. to do the trick?
I guess I'll be using CM7 for a while, but since yajnab's CM10 RC1 is working great, I want to use it as my default rom.
check your rom.......( audio_effects.conf ) should present in system/vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf

[Q] AVRCP 1.0 on ICS or JellyBean?

This is my first post on XDA after some extensive searching, so here goes...
I recently rooted, S-OFFed, etc. and I'm no longer able to stream audio to my Tundra over bluetooth. Phone calls work ok & music plays ok in Apollo, but no streaming from TuneIn, Pandora, Netflix, etc.
I have tried about a half dozen different ROMs (both ICS and JB) and the only one that I have found to work is ViperS, but I would rather not use a Sense-based ROM. I'm guessing that other Sense-based ROMs will work as well.
My searching has narrowed this down to the AVRCP profile used in the AOSP/AOKP ROMs having been upgraded from AVRCP 1.0 to 1.3/4, which only seems to affect Toyota head units (maybe some other specific makes/models). I found a related topic on the Samsung forum (not allowed to post a link yet) but unfortunately I cannot find a reasonably current Sensation-compatible ROM that still uses AVRCP 1.0
Any suggestions?
Just an update, in case anyone else has read this and had similar issues with Toyota Bluetooth...
I was able to get full streaming functionality with Virtuous Inquisition, but unfortunately that rom has not been updated in several months and it had some other issues that hindered daily use. I've moved on to a Nexus 4, and streaming works great with the latest 4.2 AOKP roms. The wife has inherited my Sensation and is perfectly content with just plugging in the AUX cable
