I'm on ROM Manager trying to Reboot into recovery but every time I try to do it it says, "An error occurred while trying to run priveleged commands !" Please help.
And your rooted? And you have cwm installed? If yes, Turn off fastboot (if applicable) completely power off the phone, hold volume down and power. It will boot into hboot. Then select recovery

Uh oh
so after i installed MIUI with the dual boot app, it asked me if I wanted to boot into it. I am now sitting am my boot screen and it's not budging. I pulled the battery out and tried the volume up and power button but it vibrated a few times and gave me a blinking amber light. I am rebooting and sitting at a boot screen again after pulling the battery. I have ext4 recovery installed as well and cant get to hboot and then recovery. What do i do now?
after trying volume down and power, im good.
Been awhile since I last had to do this
so, what's the deal with the boot issue I had with this app.. Anyone else?

Did you install using ext2? Also did you let it sit long enough? When I first installed a rom, it took around 7 minutes on the white htc screen and then it booted. Its using your sdcard so your first boot is way longer than usual

The rom has nothing to do with your youtube app.
Your prolly the first one to report this.
And obviously, you can download the latest version from android market.
What a waste, virtuous is a perfectly working rom, but if you wanna take out all the joy and return to stock then go ahead.

Hey all,
I just bought an Inspire today and am very satisfied with it so far, but I would love to know if there is any way to root the stock 2.3.3 Rom that came with the phone. I didn't update it myself, it came pre-loaded with Gingerbread. I would like to root because I want to be able to get a Rom running that has Sense 3.0. Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't seem to find anything while sifting through plenty of threads...lol. Thanks again guys!

I was really skerd when I started, but after doing it was I realized I stressed over nothing.

To give you a simple answer, flash a custom Rom. If that Rom doesn't have the "H+" icon, that doesnt mean anything. You still have your "4G"

EDIT: Gizmoe beat me to it.
I recommend just flashing a stock RUU from HTC. It'll just replace everything to stock (in the process losing everything on your phone, just like factory reset).
