Hi all,
What is the difference between a Viewsonic Gpad and a Malata Zpad?
Ik know malata had the zpad t2 and t8. Do they compare with viewsonic. Is it the same?
Is the software / firmware the same? Is there a good wiki about this?

Malata was the OEM for the gTab hardware. T2 was closest to gTab but there are differences. The T-2 also had a 3G modem, some came with 1GB ram & the nand partitions structure is different on the T2.
Some gtab users have installed the stock T2 firmware on their gTab & reported it ran fine. And I believe gtab roms work on the T2 but only recognize 512M of ram (see this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1042716&highlight=Malata+T2).
