Hey XDA!
Okay so I want to install wallpapers to my system! And I want to use the Cyanogenmod wallpapers app to do it! I edited the pix I wanted to add, and the apk installed, BUT it still says Cyanogenmod Wallpapers wen I install it! How do I change the package name (ex: com.android.xxx.apk) and the Title of the App (for example change from Cyanogenmod Wallpapers to Blakkfire Wallpapers or something)
As far as I know, with out the source code you cannot change package names. With good reason too, because otherwise people could steal others work and upload into the Market under another package name.

I've successfully installed these font packages and they look great! I obviously deserve no credit for any of the fonts or work that went into creating them... Enjoy!

Damn Bro, I'm Sorry....
Guess I Just Can't Please Everyone, Huh?? Lmao!!
Anyways.....
"Some Were on the Market"!!
"Some Were Taken Off"!!
Either Way, Regardless.... I'm More or Less Gonna Try to Post Whatever Apps That I Can Think Of That Have Been Removed From The Market!
But A Lot Of The Apps As I'm Finding Out The Hard Way...
Are/Were Paid Apps!
So I'm Trying To Due As Much, Research As Needed, So I Don't Post A Paid App Accidently!!
Its a Bit Harder than I Originally Thought!

1st Of All Thank You For All Your Appreciation Man!!
2nd Of All... It Didn't Install? That Sux!! I'll Try My Best To Hopefully Get It Installed For You!!
Do You Have...
Root Explorer? If So, Try To Change The Permissions On The
Blue XDA App... If Your Unsure As To What To Change Them To, Go To A App That You Have Successfully Installed & Just Click It!
You Should Then See Options To Install, View, & Whatever Else??
From There Click View, Then Permissions, Then Try To Remember All The Boxes Checked, & Try To Do The Same Check/Uncheck Boxes Until Every Box Is The Same As The Successfully Installed Apps!!
Then Try To Install.... It Still Might Say Unsuccessful, If It Does, Try The Rom Manager Selection To Fix Permissions!!
Next Try Rebooting & See If It Installed Successfully In Your App Drawer!!
Hopefully This Helps...Good-Luck!!!

Hello
can somebody port psclassicwallpaper and psoriginalwallpaper live wallpapers from xperia play to stock x10
I had a bit of a play around but couldn't figure it out. So if anyone a little more brilliant than me wants to have a go, that'd be neat.

Just download the rom to ur computer use sumthing like winzip or unrar to open the rar file, all the apk's are grouped together, extract them to ur computer then just move them to ur sd card, sum will install from there when u click them with root explorer, sum will need to be moved to system apps, kinda just gotta play with em, back up ur current rom first just in case.....
I have grabbed a few , home launcher, clock widget, live wall papers, but I do not have my sd card adapter with me, might try gmailing them to myself, there supposed to install from there tooo!!! ( heard, havent tried it yet...)
Best regards,
Chris
P.S. Will try to attach what I got now...... EDIT....Sorry I didnt get the actuall wallpapers files...Got in a hurry, trying to do this while on lunch....
The wallpaper related apps provide a parsing error when installing and moving them to system apps reaps no benefits either. I have the actual wallpapers and the same goes for them. I'd upload them but its almost 4 in the morning and I'm going to sleep. Ha! Hope to see some development on this soon

Getting the same trying to open them from my gmail on my phone?????
Not sure yet, gonna try a few things and see...
Sorry...
Chris
OK....The on / off widget worked from gmail....the others are on the sd card and match the Arc files I have there too, I THINK they are the same stuff....
hope you viger it out soon good look dude
Installed live wallpaper, nothing phenomenal there
Edit: cant install home app, need to recompile it then it will work, but unzipping the apk doesnt show files different then the arc launcher, so I presume it to be same as of now

MYTH

I shall download xperia play dump tonight

Hi Guys,
I am giving you some files to enable PSP Live Wallpapers as everytime i tried installing or even adding to /system/apps/ and setting the right permissions they still wouldn't work. But I have now found a solution to the problem and just in case you are having the same problems as me here you go.
Open .RAR and there will be three folders with where they need to go. Open Folders and copy to sdcard and place where instructed below:
Add these two files to /system/etc/permissions/:com.sony.android.playstationcertified.xml & com.sonyericsson.android.xperiaplaycertified.xml
And then these two at /system/framework/laystationcertified.jar & xperiaplaycertified.jar
Reboot, then install the two .apk and all should be good
Enjoy
Credit to Dikej for providing the files and xplaylauncher.apk. Without that I would not of found out these files were needed.

ABSOLUTELY!
ScreenCapture.apk
WidgetDigitalClock.apk (works on 2.3.3 Stock based ROMs Only so far, if you could get it working on ALL ROMs that would be BADASS!)
Facebook Inside Xperia:
FBCalendarSync.apk
FBIAppShare.apk
FBMediaDiscovery.apk
FBMusicLike.apk
FBNotificationPublisher.apk
FBSetupWizard.apk
SEMCFacebookProxy.apk
SemcCamera3D.apk
SemcCnapProvider.apk
textinput-tng.apk (this is supposed to have "Swype" like features)
Here's the ARC DUMP. I dont think there's much difference between ARC, Neo, Play, Etc.

As we know, installing flipfonts downloaded from the Samsung settings menu does not work. Until this is corrected this is an alternative way (without root) to do it.
Install this app called "Ifont" from the Google Play Store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kapp.ifont
Open the app after you download it then close it.
Download flipfonts. You can get them from the Google Play Store but you need to have the apk or know where it is at. The best option is to download from xda in this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=894397
Find the flipfont apk's you downloaded with the file explorer of your choice and copy them to root of the ifont folder located in your internal storage. Then click on the flipfont and install it.
Exit the file explorer and go into settings/my device/display/font style and change it to Rosemary. It has to be change to a pre-installed flipfont other than default.
Open the ifont app. Scroll to the Local section. You should see the flipfonts you downloaded. Click on the font you want to install and click set and then OK.
Reboot and bamm!! Your done.
The key is you have to let Ifont set it for you.
Found this on another forum.. just thought I'd share it with you..
That was easy thanks a lot. I can finally use the Sony sketch that i love so much

thx
good
Good find man, I saw another thread someone post asking if anyone found a way to get flip fonts to work!
Definitely going to try this out right now even though I've never used any fonts other then the stock fonts ever on any of my phones going all the way back to the G1 lol.
Edit: I saw an option to reduce font size with IFont if you have root, have you tried to see if it works? The main thing that has always attracted me to AOSP roms is being able to make the text as small as I wanted - with touch wiz the text size is massive for me lol.
