I have a TF101; Prime 1.9, stock kernel, not much else...
I'm not sure if anyone esle is having this issue, but when I view an image in the browser (e.g. clicking a direct link to an image), and the image is larger than the screen resolution, the browser won't zoom out any farther than 100%. It starts zoomed in at 100%. I can't pinch-zoom out, only in. I've tried to play with some settings in the debug menu, to no avai.
I've got "OpenGL rendering" and "Normal rendering" checked, and "Use wide viewport" unchecked.
Anyone have a fix?

Did you try checking it?
Try restarting the browser.

Sorry for the long delay in replying.
Restaring would have and does have nothing to do with it.
The option for wide viewport also does not affect the issue. The option that seems to cause it is 'single column rendering', but then that will mess up other website from displaying properly (for instance, check boxes and radio buttons won't display).

When I'm using Opera in portrit mode it looks fine, but when I open the keyboard and flip to horizontal, it defaults to a way zoomed out screen that is impossible to read. Then if I flip back to portrait it's still shrunk.
I have my Opera Display settings set as:
Auto Full Screen - Off
Mobile View - On
Any ideas?

im having the same problem. I try to zoom in with the scroll wheel but it does not respond. The only thing to do is to refresh the page.

I am having the same problem, it makes Opera virtually unusable. Any solution?
Any way to set IE as the default browser? IE works much better for me.
I've been a long time user of the android camera app, touchwiz camera was downright amazing.
I recently flashed a cm10 based ROM and have been playing around with the camera and have some questions.
1. Do you need to tap the screen to focus every time you want to take a picture? My past cameras had the constant block of auto focus so you could just wait for the green and snap. Or does the tap focus only pertain to the spot you want to focus on?
2. Is there a macro mode?..perhaps this is 'flower' mode?
Finally...anyway to turn off the shutter sound other than silent mode? This ones not anything major I just figured I would ask. Thanks guys!

No, you don't need to tap the screen to focus every time. If you move around to different points in camera mode you'll see the screen zooming in and out to focus on the point in the center of the screen. I think the tap is to focus on a point off the center of the screen (taking a photo of someone while their not centered in the screen)
There is a macro mode. When you open the camera there's a settings button right next to the negative zoom slider. After that there's a 3 button settings right where you just clicked, and in there you'll find macro/burst, and all the other extras.
I haven't seen a shutter sound off option yet.
Thanks! I am still unable to find macro..I did find the burst shot which ranges from 5-20 shots. However I don't see macro listed. Maybe I'm just missing it. If you are able could you upload a screenshot of it please? Thanks again!

You're welcome. I can't make a screenshot whenever I try it says that my storage is in use (assuming because camera is open) but if you go into the settings like I described before... the 4th one down gives you "focus mode" that's set to continuous.. click on that to the right and you'll find macro in there.

The AOSP camera is definitely lacking compared to the TW one.
That being said here is an ongoing project to add more features to the AOSP camera in order to make it closer to TW:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746611
I do miss the TW camera, but camera isn't a deal breaker for me to remain on TW... I see more benefits using aosp instead.
Thanks for the link, I'll be sure to bookmark it and check back periodically to see if there's improvements. I see in screenshots its able to store on extsdcard which is nice.
You can easily get rid of camera sounds renaming the sound files from CM -> media -> audio -> ui
just rename the camera files and video files with ending .bak and reboot your phone. After every update you have to do it again.
Not sure if its just me or if anyone else is experiencing this issue
As you can watch this video, it takes forever for the camera to take pic and then processing it..
If I close the camera app before it thumbnail goes to the top right corner, it seems to just delete itself..
BTW, Im on CM11s rom, running franco kernel, in case anyone wants to know...
Thanks for any help..
You're using HDR mode that complies multiple exposure settings to get you the best pic. It's always slower than non HDR mode.
That looks horrible.
HDR mode on my nexus 4 works a lot faster.

First pic was in auto mode.. you can see after I focused on the car, I hit the shutter button... 3 secs later, sound and then another 7 secs later the pic gets taken.. I then swiped to the different scene modes
but regardless which scene mode, does the same thing... really annoying.. tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times but same thing...
not sure if theres a similar topic, but Ive noticed an issue with saving photos after they are taken, it takes couple minutes or more for them to show in gallery.
if I take a photo, and go out of the camera app and enter gallery, the most recent photos wont show.
But if I go back to camera app and swipe right, it will show them there.. wth?!
Try downloading the latest version from play.

I read this awesome article on how to unlock the hidden display mode, http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-...lay-mode-on-your-Galaxy-S6-and-Note-4_id70452
However since I've taken the most current OTA's it seems to have disappeared. Has anyone else been able to use this while on the most current software? If so, how'd you do it??
Im on OG9 and its called Screen mode with modepreviewtablet right underneath it. Just scroll down the list of the options. In the video its like the second or third option but on my OG9 build, its way down the alphabetical list and its called Screen Mode. Just make sure the tiny text underneath it says modepreviewtablet.
I choose the Reading mode but I couldn't see a difference between it and the Basic mode. It looks washed out to my eyes. I like the Photo mode. It looks best to my eyes. YMMV
Perfect, thanks!!

I bought a new phone (iqoo 7) after 3 years. I am not sure if this is an android issue/feature or a phone specific issue. I can't help but notice that while playing videos on twitch, prime, youtube etc. the display doesn't use the entire screen space. A significant part of both the edges is blank and it really bothers me and is not a very good experience while watching a video. If i pinch out and zoom the video to fit to the screen then it because it is zoomed, some parts/edges of the video can't be seen. I am not up to date with mobiles however i used android 8.0 in my previous phone and was always able to use the full screen while watching videos.
Please refer to the attached screenshots.

It is the default behavior of displays using punch hole cameras.
To change this go to "Settings -> Display & brightness -> Top-area display".
Then change the apps you want to be full screen from "Automatic fitting" to "Display the front camera".
It should do the trick.

Could you try Display at top of screen option at the last?
I don't have this option there and instead I have the Top-area display option there instead.

Yeah, there's an option in display at top of screen. It was on automatic fitting by default I tried changing it to other to options but nothing happened.

It got fixed for me by choosing "Display the front camera". IDK why it doesn't work for you.
