ask Danalo, they're in his new Humble rom... If you open up his rom package you may be able to find it though I have no idea how to implement it, I'd imagine if you ask nicely he'd show you or link you to instructions or something

Hello all. I appreciate all of the custom roms out there. I agree withe the fact that the touchwiz ui uses garish colors, but the additions actually tend to improve on android's functionality, unlike other skins lime motoblur. Does anyone have a copy of the stock calendar apk. It seems that gummy rom got rid of it and all the roms based on gummy don't have it. I would really appreciate it.
I would like it as well. Would some one be kind enough to post it and tell how to install it?
I like the stock calendar as well.

I can attach the apk's from the deodexed EE4 version...but I dont know how to install them correctly. I keep trying to get them to work but have no clue. If someone can get them to work please let me know?
I have tried deleting the original apk's via root explorer and putting these in there place with no luck
I wish I had a way to install this. I really prefer it.
oops, I thought the op was asking for the aosp version

Are you sure that it is the stock calendar? I have the latest GummyCharged but still can not find the stock calendar in the apps.

I just copied the apps you have posted in the system/app folder and they work. My Calender now finally syncs with gummy chccharged 1.9.1.
Thanks for posting the apps.

What is the best GB leak rom for droid charge?
How do I install it?
Right now running Eclipse 1.3.1 froyo ee4.
There's Eclipse, Humble, GummyCharged, and stock/debloated Gingerbread versions. It's your pick. You install the same way you installed that Froyo rom, but going back you have to repartition and restock your phone.

what do u mean by this "but going back you have to repartition and restock your phone"
what is the better one to use?
I mean if you ever want to go back to Froyo you have to COMPLETELY re-stock your phone (stock rom, kernel, and partitions) before you can flash your EE4 rom of choice. Instructions are somewhere in the stickies...

Humble hasn't been updated in a very long time, and I have never tried Eclipse. GummyCharged GB has a lot more stability issues than the Froyo version, but then again, all of them do.

alright so i should just stay with froyo then? If i understand you right all I do is download the rom and install it like i did eclipse and humble correct? Nothing else special?

Froyo is generally considered more stable, due to having source available. Given that it's your choice (the really good part of Android IMO).
I'm not sure how you installed the other ROM's, but you are going to need to ODIN to get to gingerbread, and ODIN to get back. Obviously all data is going to be wiped etc, what I tell guys at work that want my help with this, is to make sure they read the thread of whatever they are doing, as I won't help them without them understanding the terminology at the very least....
The big difference I think for most is voodoo support on froyo, vs non on gingerbread, most see a bit of a performance boost.
The only real one that can decide is you...
thanks for all the help

Yes, the dev should have some instructions in their OP. It's completely your decision if you want to go GB. I've been to GB twice, and I keep going back to Froyo because it's more stable and there's no real reason to switch yet. YMMV, and you may fall in love with GB, but that was my experience.
EDIT: There is EXT4 for GB, so Voodoo is kind of negligible.

I've seen a flashable .zip on another phone(I think it was the Hero) and it would completely remove the lockscreen. I'm requesting a dev to build a .zip that can be flashed through CWM to completely disable the lockscreen. I'd really appreciate it because I'm currently using a custom HTC Sense lockscreen and I disabled the stock one by using the Android Central guide(http://forums.androidcentral.com/dr...ms-hacks/88577-remove-lock-screen-charge.html), the only problem with that guide is it not only removes your lockscreen but your power button menu as well and that was really useful for rebooting into recovery. Really hope a dev can do this for me(if it is possible on this phone). Thanks!

Eventually I will port TSM parts over to Gingerbread as well, but right now I'm not touching that buggy code on EP1H lol

I started on GCd 1.8.5 then bounced over to Humble because it was advertised as a "low power ROM", then I found out that was bs so I bounced over to Eclipse(for the awesome TW4 look) but when GC2 is released, guess where I'm going.... lol I can't wait, thanks for the info Kejar.
Just came form a Dx and DX2. Really missing the CRT animation. Anyone make it for the Charge yet?

Do you mean the Gingerbread screen lock crt style animation? Any of the Ginger leaks/roms have that. Froyo Gummy (and others?) have a crt type power off animation, not screen lock though.

Any way to port that over individually? i.e. flash just the CRT mod onto another ROM (Humble 2.1)?

as of now only works with GB though its possible to make it work on froyo.. maybe Kejar and team Gummy will incorporate it into GummyCharged 2.0
blazing through on my VZ Droid Charge 4G
Now that EP1W is out, is there anyone that can come up with a zip that you can flash in cwm to enable the CRT animation?

I was seeing it previously on Gummy Charged, but not anymore. Does it only work with animation/transition speed set to normal?
Window animation speed must be set to normal. Transition can be fast.
Hi, I have GummyCharged 2.0 installed and I just flashed the Ice Cream Sandwich theme from Recovery. After I clicked reboot it did and I can see the boot up for ICS but it is stuck in a loop, it looks like it just stops and then restarts itself. What did I do wrong? I cleared the data, cache, and Dalvik cache. I failed 2-3 times doing this and now I am stuck on the boot loop. Help?

I'm really starting to sound like a broken record here, but do not flash themes that aren't meant for your rom! Themes are rom specific, if you want a certain theme then find out what rom it's for then download and install that rom then flash the theme for it.
You will run into alot less problems and the forums won't be so full of these questions. I made a post here that pertains to all roms/themes.
well Im kind of a noob can u plz tell me which roms i shoikd download l? Ive been confused...
You are running a FROYO ROM, you need to be running a Gingerbread one.
Noob or not if you need more information either read more or out the phone down becasue you shouldn't be flashing it wihtout knowing what you are doing.
Hey Farabomb, so If I just flash gummycharged 1.9FE then flash gummycharged 2.0 without installing froyo voodoo peant nutter jelly time I can download the ICS theme?

Ok. I'll pretend like this is an actual question and you aren't just trying to make people crazy.
Froyo is the OLD version of Android. Gingerbread is the New(er) version.. When you download ROMs, they are labeled in some way, shape or form like GB (gingerbread) or FE (froyo edition).
When you install a theme, it is meant to work on certain roms. So if you downloaded the ICS rom which is for gingerbread, then what should you do if you have Gummy Charge FE (froyo edition) ?
Answer: You either (1) Get rid of the rom you are on, and install the proper version (Gummy Charged 2.0 or 2.1 GINGERBREAD)
or
(2)you don't install the theme, and you leave it as it is.
Or (3) Go update to the newest official OTA rom, EP4D, because it is a lot faster and works a lot better than these antiquated builds.
Also, I feel your pain. I don't understand why a dev would ever have 2 different incompatible roms with the same name and same version number. that's one of the reasons I stopped using Gummy Charged (other than the fact that it is not being developed any more).

Before I rooted a phone the first time I spent about 2 weeks reading and searching across multiple forums to get a complete picture of what I was getting myself into. I tend to be detail oriented in other aspects of my life too though.
