Hey guys I was wondering, would a new atrix plus an hd multimedia dock be a fair trade for a Samsung galaxy s2? The atrix would also include two batteries, xtremeguardz screen protector, USB cable, htc wall charger, and two battery doors. I was just wondering if this would be a fair trade for both sides (well I don't care if its unfair for me as long as the other person would be getting a good trade)

Hello,
Can anybody suggest a HTC Desire dock which charges the phone & a second battery ?
There's so many different ones on ebay, I'm not sure what to go for.
Buddy...
I'd take care with the chargers on ebay. I bought one for my touch hd and it was fine for charging the batteries out of the phone. However, the one and only time I plugged the phone directly into it I managed to fry the charging circuit.
So now I have a perfectly functioning touch hd, but I don't have any way to get power into it.
This lead to me getting my desire, so it worked out prey well in the end.

I've bought two from eBay, one for my HD2 which was top class really snug fit and very sturdy, and a second one for my Desire which was total crap, I still use it but I can't even touch the screen without it wobbling about on the cradle. I'd strongly suggest avoiding this variety.
I am at my wits end here... I ordered 2 Infuse Battery Chargers (on eBay)... from 2 different sellers in Hong Kong. Clearly they haven't gotten the memo about the battery that fits the Infuse 4G, because BOTH sellers advertised the product as able to charge a Samsung Infuse 4G, yet both of the sellers sent a battery charger for the I9000.
Has anyone actually found one that is for the right battery? LOL. I know it's only cost me $4 each, but the wait only to be disappointed when the wrong product arrives drives me insane.
Thanks!
Someone mentioned here on the forums, you can use a samsung captivate battery. Same width, smaller height. So the user stuffed some paper bits in the remaining area so that the battery holds in place. Not a long-term solution, but if you need to do something about it, that's an option. I haven't tried it myself.

From my understanding you CAN... but the issue is if you stuff paper in there and your phone gets jostled, it may cause the power contacts to lose and re-connect, causing random reboots.
There are non-OEM Infuse batteries on eBay for $8 for 3... or $24 for one original.. is it really that big of deal to spend a couple bucks? It's like buying a Porsche and then cramming an after market air filter in that's half the size and surrounding it in tissue, hehe
I have 2 captivate batterys laying around and yes they are compatible. Just.wedge something in there to make.up for the room. Comes in handy for emergencys. They dont last as.long but o well right. Also i used the captivate battery charger to charge my infuse battery lol i know it dont fit right so i used a rubber band to hold it into place and yes it worked.

Well I got the "Samsung Infuse 4G 1800mAh 2 Battery+Dock USB CHGR Anker" on ebay from laptopmate_usa.
Includes 2 batteries plus a flimsy charger (still works fine however) and they work great in my experience.
I think it's ridiculous to pay full price for replacement batteries.

I have 2 ebay batteries and an extra OEM battery. The ebay batteries most certainly are NOT 1800 mAh. But they make good spares for traveling or extended movie watching.
When it comes to batteries, you definitely get what you pay for.

I payed $13.99 for a packaged deal that included (3) Infuse batteries and a charger, from a Hong Kong outfit, on ebay. Works great!

http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ET-CGPK002GSTA - this did not exist on Samsung's site when the original poster posed their question.
It's also insanely expensive.

Same one I have.
I am confused with your question. If you are looking for a charger for the spare battery, Samsung sells it. If you are looking for a spare battery, samsung also sells it but is only 1300 mAh
For those of you that dont know about the site Dealextreme, its chock full of cheap Chinese made gadgets and gizmos, and lots of knockoff name brand stuff. I just received one of the best car chargers ive ever had for my phone from the site, and the best part is it was only $2.80 shipped. The cord retracts into the body to keep clutter down that you get with the $30 charger from Best Buy.

I ordered two, one for my girlfriends HTC, and unsurprisingly one of them came with a damaged cable (insulation was peeled off). Though after sending them a picture, theyre sending me a new one at no cost. I ordered a similar one for my Nokia E72 a few months ago which worked well. As well as a retractable 4 in 1 AC charger (Nokia, mini and micro USB, and iPhone all spliced into one cable) to keep at the shop for about $4. Its all cheap Chinese made crap, but still a great value.
I dont work for the site, just sharing what i though was a great find.
that website is ok, but the quality of their item is relatively poor. There are only a few items that have decent quality.
Yes if one out of two was falling apart when you got it that doesn't speak well for it lasting very long.
$2.80 dude

I use this one for all my MicroUSB needs. For under $5 shipped, it's amazing, looks nice (the circle is glass that lights up blue), and "name brand" I suggest this one over a $3 cheaply made one.
I just use one of these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004T1VSRK
nice and compact and i can charge any USB device from it, put's out enough amps to even charge my wifes ipad....
I've moved on to a Galaxy Nexus and don't have a need for my Atrix 2 anymore. I want to sell it on Ebay or Craigslist but I'm curious what you guys think it's actually worth as a used phone. Here's the scope:
Atrix 2 Stock on ICS - 8 out fo 10 condition because of some dings on a corner due to a drop on concrete from 1ft off the ground. No scratches on the screen.
Standard cheap case that encloses around the phone (2 pieces that snap together).
Of course the stock charger/USB cable combo.
The Motorola multimedia Desk Dock which has HDMI out on the back (It was also made for tablets and other devices).
4GB Micro SD card.
I have original boxes and packaging for both the phone and the desk dock.
*Not determined yet - I'm working on getting it SIM Unlocked from AT&T.
What do you guys think?
Hey all,
Starting a new thread on this, since the other one is several months old.
Does anyone know of where the S5 Wireless cover can be found where it isn't over priced (i.e. $100)? I'm looking to get the feature, as my charge port is acting funny w/ a lose connection to charging cables.
If not the OEM Samsung version, does anyone know of a decent After Market version that still keeps the waterproof capability. I've seen one on Amazon that doesn't have the waterproof gasket, but no luck anywhere else.
TIA.

How about:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7142E95226
And, by the way, the S5 is NOT waterproof, it is water resistant, big difference...
I don't think that one is for the S5. The contacts for the battery don't match the battery pattern. Thanks for looking though.
Understood not waterproof. Just a lack of brain power to write resistant last night..
ME TOO!!!
I've been searching myself for years now, can't figure out why the hell they still cost so much, I'm still not sure I wanna pay $30 + shipping for one directly from Samsung/usa (but they aren't cheaper anywhere else!)
But anyhow... I haven't tried this myself but you could have a look getting at a Qi standard wireless receiver. I don't go on Amazon much, but there's a lot of them on Ebay.
Installed the following last week on my S5, couldn't be happier.
BestFire® Ultra-thin QI Wireless Charging Charger Receiver For Samsung (S5)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JQ7UCJW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
* NOTE... Images aren't for the S5. Unit shipped actually has 3 contact pins, which we need.
Fits well and seals with stock battery door. Slight center bump, but hardly noticeable especially with a protective case on. Using mine with a Samsung wireless charger.
S5
How is the performance of the wireless charging battery cover? Did it work?
