[Q] ROM Manager: Partition SD? - T-Mobile LG G2x

I'm wondering if this feature in ROM Manager is useful for our phones, since we have like 6 GB of internal memory, and more external space available.
I just bought a 32 GB Class 10 SD Card, and it seems with CM7 that I can already install Apps directly to the SD card, so is this even needed? Any sort of benefit at all to partitioning my SD Card from ROM manager? Any RAM benefits I can do with 32 GB?
Thanks...

[Q] SD Question with ROM

I have a 16gb SD card that is coming tomorrow, but I got my phone tonight. It came with a 2gb SD card. Can I root and install the ROM on my 2gb SD card and swap in my 16gb SD card tomorrow? Does the ROM install to the internal memory?

Yes it does, so you'll be fine.

Hi,
“ROM” is the memory where the system files of the OS is stored. By default all downloadable apps are stored as well in this location. Therefore it would be better to install ROM in 16 GB SD card or you can also install it in internal memory and define the external memory path (16 GB SD card location) for downloading any apps.

Sdcard questions

Hi, I'm aware the one x will not have a micro Sd card slot and was wondering how this will work as I've been very dependent on the Sd card in my phone.
Will all the folders that are on your Sd card move in with the system folders?
When I connect via USB into the computer will it pull up all folders or only specific folders if I use it as a storage system?
Is the At&t version only coming with 16 gb space or is there a 32 gb version also?
Lastly, how much memory will actually be available? I've heard only about 12 gb if you have the 16 gb variant.
Would be a great help if anyone could answer.
My life is cool...
all been answered already
The internal storage is divided up in two partitions, a few GB for the system and the rest for storage. So when you connect your phone as a disk drive, it will appear just like any phone with an SD card would.
The LTE model only comes in a 16GB capacity.
My One X has 2.21 GB for the system and 9.93 GB for storage (total of 12.14 GB).

[Q] Using over 4gb sd card space for link2sd apps

i have a rooted S3 mini, android version 4.1.2, link2sd free edition installed. S3 mini doesn't support moving apps to SD.
Today, I have bought a 64 GB SD card to replace the 4 GB sd card that I have. People say you can only link 4 gb of apps using link2sd
My question is, can you go higher than that? can you link say 16 GB of apps to SD using link2SD? I have 64 GB card so 2 GB is nothing, my internal memory is 8GB so I need that extra space. If not, then is there alternative apps allowing you to link as much app data to your sd as you want?
