I am NOT talking about the oft-discussed market download fails. I can download from the market just fine, but when i try to download something from a website or an email via a site link, the download immediately fails.

I am running 5.0.1gr2, stock browser, download crutch light. I have previously been able to download .zip files and others, but lately I haven't been able to (it gets to 92% and says "download unseccessful"). I'd love to download Haykuros updates straight to my phone.
When I downloaded the original rc33 update (before root), I downloaded it with the stock browser and download crutch. I have done it before, but recently I haven't been able to.
Also, everytime I try to go to a "mega upload" type of site, it will not load at all.

VZW Droid Incredible 2. Stock rom. Rooted. Tried to download a short artistic video from an app I got off of Snappz (not sure if the video is going to internal storage or SD.) Anyways, thing keeps saying 'download unsuccessful.' I don't care about the download anymore. It won't stop trying to download this video. I've tried a reboot, I force stopped the process that I got the artistic video from. Out of ideas. Tried searching google and XDA. No luck. How do I stop this thing?
Install astro file manager, go into preferences/ scroll down a bit and check the box to enable browser download.
Then try to download your files.

Tried to quote but the xda app is giving me some invalid thread id error. Anyways, I did the above...aaaand it's still trying to download this video and stating 'download unsuccessful.' Again though, I don't care about the download. I want it to stop trying to download itself without success. Make it stop! I need an adult!

No matter what I do the app refuse to install. If I try via the play market it'll download and ill get an error upon install "incompatible update"?! Ill manually download the apk and use an all install app, it to will.attempt to install but fail.
I also have this problem with youtube.
Ever tried to get an app from the Play Store but it said "Not compatible with your device" or "Not available in your country" ?
You can always get the app's APK and install it. You can sometimes get them through Aptoide or any other website, but you don't always find the latest version, or you may not find it at all.
There are 2 ways to get the APK from the Play Store:
1- The first way is APK Downloader. Without any downloads, go to goo.gl/l15JdV and paste the link or package name of the app and it will download it.
For example, if you want to download Facebook .apk, you can either write the link: goo.gl/6iQMVN , or the package name: com.facebook.katana
2- The second way is using Real APK Leecher. I attached it to this post. It is a 3MB java app that is like APK Downloader, and works the same way.
PS: None of these apps are by me, and none of them can download paid apps.
