Hi Guys,
Does anyone knows if Nexus S sold by Vodafone Australia is network-locked? How can I confirm if my phone is network locked? Does this prevent the installation of custom ROM? And is there a tool I can use to undo the network lock?

Hi guys.. I got the inspire 4g unlocked .
I just want to know if there is any way to get
3g or 4g network??
N if there is a way plz help me with that..?
Tnx.
You want 3G data from other than AT&T? That's possible, but depends on where you live. Your post is a little cryptic (you're not a Jedi, are you?). Try to explain a little more about what you are looking for.

Inspire will not work with European 3G bands, it will work with AT&T 3G bands only. So you will only have Edge network in networks other than AT&T compatible networks.
hello everyone , does anybody knows what is the best radio for using inspire on simplemobile
This is an unanswerable question. Best is what works for you.

If you are refering to the sim lock, you unlocked it with the Hack Kit when you rooted your cell.

Changing the radio does not take your unlock away.

Then your cell is SIM unlock. That has nothing to do with the radios...to check you have super CID and Sim unlock follow this:

if its carrier unlocked from the manufacturer, pop the sim in, the end.
if its bootloader unlocked, you need to get it carrier unlocked as they are not the same.
Ok, I have the carrier unlock code, ATT gave it to me with no problems. Now besides that do I need to flash a different radio at all? Also because its rooted would that cause any other issues?

How can you tell if you have a locked bootloader? I know AT&T is supposed to be locked and T-Mobile unlocked but how can you actually tell? Is there actual confirmation somewhere for these?

If it's AT&T and Verizon it is guaranteed to be locked. If it's T-Mobile and sprint then it is most likely unlocked.

Thanks but that doesn't really answer my question.
Also wondering if you get a Tmobile phone that is unactivated, one would think the bootloader is unlocked because it's Tmobile, however if an AT&T sim is placed in it, will it lock to AT&T and lock the bootloader? Looking at phones on Swappa and wondering if the phone has to first have a Tmobile sim it it, activated then SIM unlocked before using with AT&T. All talk of same hardware across the carriers is making me wondering

That's for subsidy unlock to use another companies sim card, not the bootloader.

Same with Verizon.
But the question is, does that actually do anything? I seem to recall there being a work around on the g4 to enable that option but it didn't really do anything.
So if you are an ATT customer and you want to unlock your bootloader, you could buy a tmobile variant because it supports bands 2, 4, & 12? Or would it be better to buy the G930F international verison?
From samsung's website:
4G FDD LTE: B1(2100), B2(1900), B3(1800), B4(AWS), B5(850), B7(2600), B8(900), B12(700), B18(800), B19(800), B20(800)
4G TDD LTE: B38(2600), B39(1900), B40(2300), B41(2500)
