Hi everyone, I am aware that there is another Sense thread, but after popular request in that thread to have an updated OP and a less fragmented thread, we decided that I should make my own thread.

IDK, but when I do, I will update this
The ROM in this thread may not boot, so if you need a stable ROM, for now, this is not your best bet.

The first installation said unpacking system files, but it never got past that,the second installation said installing update and never got past that. The third one said installation aboorted error 6.
I am using the purple latest cwm and the ec05 modem.

Maybe you gave up too early on the second one? Sometimes it takes around 5 or 10 minutes.

3rd one is a script error, first two, maybe leave for an hour, cuz this file is pretty huge.
Sorry, guys I really don't know what to do here. If you could look at the script and other file and maybe try to fix, that'd be great. In the mean time, you guys could test the last build I made in the Miui thread.

Their script wont help at all lol thats probably why it wont flash...throw in the cm7 updater-script with no changes except our cm7 kernel and it should flash.
Edit: Your already using the CM7 kernel so just throw in our Cm7 updater script...

As for quadrant, it's trash on the epic. It's never accurate. Dont use it

Yeah, if it is based off of midNIGHT's rom/ext4, you need to flash through CWM3 (orange)
EDIT: I may be wrong. I guess it would depend on which version of midNIGHT it is based on. The most current version is "edify friendly", so if it is based off of that - then yes, you should use CWM3. If it is not, then the CWM version ending in .02 should be used if you already have ext4.

yeah the only reason i havent flashed CW3 is because there are only like 2 roms using it right now lol

I'm running the newest version of midNIGHT now and the DEV is a great guy. I was going to flash this and test it out b/c it is based off of that and has the "extras" included that I currently have loaded (GB theme, GB keyboard, no data throttle) through seperate flashes!
Also, being that it is an "edify" rom, there is a link to a repository of edify-converted items on the midNIGHT DEV's personal blog (link is in the midNIGHT 2.7 thread). He has taken conversion requests and posted them there.

I think there are several threads about how the free version of quadrant is useless. The scores are easy to manipulate.

Ok, this is a Rom that I cooked up for myself... not for anyone else, but people keep asking me for it, and where they can get it so I guess here it is... LOL... I like color, and most have no color, and are boring... also added couple of Dancing Droid Live wallpapers, that are in all my roms... and will be adding my bAdDroid boot screen, but that is not in the Rev...
Like I said this is MY ROM... I have taken anything and everything out of it that I don't use, if you want something added, then add it... I don't use FaceBook, Twitter, FriendStream... I have real flesh and blood friends... but if you use them... Flash them... LOL... this version DOES NOT have an app folder with what I took out... next version will have it... just didnt have time before I am taking off for the weekend... SORRY... LOL...
Make sure you wipe everything... And like all roms, you are doing this at your OWN RISK... But I have flashed the final copy a few times just to check and make sure its all ok and it's being a "good" bAdDroid.... LOL...
If anyone wants to change something and post it, won't bother me in the least...

It could take a bit...this is a slow download and a large rom file. 183MB.
wont flash, goes through everything, then says install complete then it says "please reboot unmount() expects 1 arg. got 4 E:Error in /sdcard/bAdDroid.1.0.zip (Status 7) Installation aborted."
Actually just reboot if you get the error... sorry need to fix when I get back...but does boot without problems... sorry about that

What kernel are you using on this rom? Flashed a couple of the sense 1.8 kernels to no avail. System keeps rebooting.
The stock Sense works well.
Battery usage
Is anyone seeing a quicker battery drain with this rom? I have a couple Beautiful Widgets running, but that's it.

When you say it'll use Edify, that will require CWM 3 or above, right? Sorry, been a while since I've looked at CWM changes since the 2.5.1 version has "just worked" for so long now.

i think it will work on both but if your on CWM 3 then you have to have edify script!

So I searched around and found this thread while looking for the community kernel (old I know). But when I'm flashing this kernel, which of the files am I supposed to choose? I see a cert.sf, cert.rsa, manifest.mf, update-binary, updater-script, and then in the other folder a redbend_ua, and zImage...I'm kind of new to this Thanks for the help!

But my problem is that when I try to flash that, it takes a little while before it just tells me it failed to verify kernel (something along those lines) and then it doesn't flash it. Am I doing something brutally wrong? I already have CWM installed as per the video linked by the "Super Everything" thread on XDA. Could somebody maybe re-upload this kernel please?
Also, if I were to flash a different ROM, like say Serendipity VII, then do I still need to flash a kernel before hand? Or can I just download the ROM to my sdcard and install it with CWM? Thanks for the help!

I ran Serendipity as my first ROM, and ran it on my cappy also, to include my boys cappys

Just follow the instructions on the above.
But if you want to try another ROM, you will have to go back to stock, well I had but I do on a regular bases...use this below

Do not unzip the PDA_Community_Voodoo_Kernel_v8.tar.md5 file. Use Odin and because the file name starts with PDA, load it in the PDA slot and flash.
Bigjoe: So just to confirm, I can go straight from UCKH1 with cwm and rom manager and NO community kernel flashed to serendipity? All I have to do is put the file onto my phone and boot into CWM(mine usually goes into blue then I click reinstall packages and then it goes to green) and then wipe data and cache and then install the file from my sdcard? He isn't very clear in his instructions when he says just flash the rom as one step haha
Also, on the original topic, the file that was uploaded on minus at the to of this thread isn't a PDA tar file. It's the community kernel zip. So I was trying to flash it with sgs kernel flasher. Is that wrong?

In an attempt to keep the main thread as uncluttered as possible, I humbly request all general questions/answers regarding tweaked 3.x to be done in this thread. If there is some sort of bug (like a force close or the like) to report, post that plus a logcat if applicable (usually is) in the main thread here.
I hope things work as expected, and that the rom is enjoyed! Feel free to post any recommendations/requests here as well - though I make no promises on acting on any of them
Now i see why people wanted the official release so badly... i guess after using stock forever you forget about the speed of tweaked
I'm having troubles installing themes using tweaktool, every time I try to install one it downloads to 100% but then says error with file. Then it tries to download again but fails again and exits me out of tweaktool. The ones I tried are jelly bean, circuitry, and alchemy

This was the right spot. Are the md5s mismatched? I ULed a ton of stuff at once, I may need to redo it.

Yep, but its far trickier to update the tweaktools scripts now that they are in the rom than it is to update the md5 lists they read from on the server currently - I'll have to make that change in a future update though!

i see some custom boots in tweaktools... my understanding is that we cannot use custom boots on stock kernels.... how can/could these be employed?

Some of them like stock and galaxy s can be used on the stock kernel since they were pulled off of samsung phones that use the same retarded file format. Other than that you can make a kernel or use fp1 pbj.
Dwith do you have the stock flash player apk? Since adobe dropped support for flash over the summer we can't just download it off the market anymore unless it is preinstalled on the phone.

Stock kernel cant use the custom ones, but I figured it'll happen soon enough so might as well have some ready
It's in there, I think in the apps > bloatapps - its called StockFlashInstaller.

I tried that, still doesnt show up in the app drawer or let me update it in the market. Sadly i used batch delete backups of uninstalled apps on tibu.
Also maps keeps closing on me whenever I try to open it.
I am on fp1 pbj with ext4 and tweaked 3. Is there an easy way to get myself on the fp5 kernal without multiple flashes and taking ota updates?

Not really... you need to flash ep4 and work your way up
Or would you suggest waiting for the hybridized pbj fp5 kernal? Right now my phone feels incomplete.

If you don't need pbj then you will be fine. I personally use tegrak to overclock w/o custom kernel and don't care about the boot animation.
