[Q] Where to download SuperUser 3 beta? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I went to superuser site but I only could find the changelog.
I would like to download the latest SuperUser 3 beta.
I also purchased SuperUser Elite long time ago but didn't install it (because both SuperUser and SuperUser Elite icon exist on app drawer)?
If I download SuperUser 3 beta, can I remove SuperUser and only keep SuperUser Elite?
Please help me out!

Here you go
Flash via recovery.

Then, are you sure that the Superuser application is installed?
I hope you havent removed gtalk service, market, vending.apk, uploader, downloarder... sns ect and any other impotent services.
Follow my signature and go to "Tute- How to purchase apps from market when you don't have paid apps access to your country"
install market access and and follow instructions.
Let me know the feedback.

First go into Super User and revoke access. Then I would re-grant it to see if it works. Then uninstall app and re-install.

Just about to say this, at first i had alot of problems with rom toolbox and then i noticed the first time i opened it i declined superuser access and it was blocked.
Nope. Everything ok with superuser rights. Just keep mucking around. Using the system apks now and doing everything directly instead of using the app.
Getting angry with it. Lol
Using markphytonICS

you think too much.
I upgraded my 4.0.4 to 4.1.2 using Mobile Odin Pro.
When choosing which partitions to flash, I removed the recovery partition. That allowed me to simply re-flash SuperSU and Titanium Backup after the upgrade. No messing around.

who among you is using rom toolbox pro?
i use this to uninstall "unwanted" pre-installed apps by samsung.
tried to uninstall readers hub or polaris viewer, can't.
perhaps you have a better app to this, might want to share.
anyway, with this, i manage to install awesome beat and touchwiz effect

[Q] Viper4Android

So just got my OPO. A little underwhelmed by the Audio FX EQ. Has anyone installed Viper4Android yet? Just wondering if the installation was routine or if you had to remove all traces of the Audio FX app. Other than that loving the phone!
Cheers
I installed the app, installed the driver and Viper4Android worked perfectly fine.
Which version of Viper did you use? I'm not having any luck getting it to work.
Cheers!
I used a flashable zip of viper v2.3.3 from the nexus 5 forums. Works great. Flash through twrp recovery, reboot, install drivers then reboot again. It install as system app as well.

Guide for installing Xposed framework after flashing?

I was looking through the threads about rooting our S7e devices, and ended up not being able to get back to the post where it showed which files needed to flash Xposed framework on our recently rooted devices. So, here is a short and simple guide to installing XPOSED framework, thanks to stormonya! Thanks!
Guide by stormonya:
1. DOWNLOAD FLASHFIRE FROM THE PLAY STORE
2. DOWNLOAD XPOSED APK AND ARM64 FRAMEWORK ZIP FROM HERE:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
3.INSTALL XPOSED APK.
4. OPEN FLASHFIRE AND GIVE SUPERSU PERMISSION AND FLASH THE XPOSED FRAMEWORK ZIP YOU DOWNLOADED...
5.PHONE WILL REBOOT AND OPTIMIZE APPS AND LOAD UP.....IT WILL TAKE 15 MINUTES....AND THEN BOOM!!!! YOU'RE ALL XPOSED!!!
Edit:
Version 86.0 does NOT work as I previously stated. I had to revert to 85.1 custom in order to get it to stick. Sorry for the mistake guys.
Here are the two files you need in order to get xposed working properly
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24572330218881466 - this is version 85.1 custom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440 - Xposed installer 3.0 alpha 4 apk
Use flashfire from the play store to flash the zip file. When it reboots, expect it to take several minutes to optimize your apps. After that, you should be good to go! Sorry again for the mistake!

Ok guys, I'm sorry for posting that version 86.0 worked flawlessly. It appeared to install fine, and work OK. But, upon rebooting the device, xposed ceased to function. So, I ended up going back to 85.1

It shouldn't ask you for a recovery to use....you select "FLASH ZIP OR OTA" select the zip that was downloaded...make sure it is the ARM64 SDK23 Version. It will flash and reboot.

I didn't add anything new that should have broken the framework. I'm going to try and upgrade to 86 in the morning. Could have just been a fluke. I'll update the OP if everything goes well. Thanks for letting me know that you got it working!
