Is there a type such as 'AT&T retail', and it's not necessary to unlock if you use another carrier?
My friend has one, and there is no at&t logo at the bottom of the screen
This is the About phone screenshot

Well, This is not ATT, but I have no idea what it is specifically. It may or may not be locked, but any decent carrier will unlock it for you for free if it is.
Did he buy a new phone or a used one ?! If a used one then maybe somebody mustve rooted it and fxz'd with ATT, though im not sure anyone can flash ATT fxzs other than ATT users.

Saw this in an EE (uk carrier) store. I saw the metal back and dual speakers and thought of HTC somehow EE said this was an 'EE Eagle Tablet' did a Google search for that and apparently its just a clone of the Huawei MediaPad M1. Putting it here for people to check out.
You are a professional developer, or amateur?
I wouldn't say amateur, I know what I'm going with ROMs, kernels etc but I don't develop.
Hey everyone... A friend of mine bought a Xiaomi MI 6 in China and he asked for my help to get it to work with LTE here in Canada. Looking at the phone, it's a complete fake, and I cannot even find the real manufacturer for this thing.
I would like to try and root it and install a custom ROM where the band might work... but without know what the phone really is, I'm not sure that is possible.
Any ideas?

Hey, just wondering if folks have ever used this settings screen to inform choice of a SIM purchase. Just moved to a new country and am roaming at the moment. The default operator my old country SIM is roaming with is OK, but looking at this I think Vodaphone P might be a better choice when I buy a local SIM.
