[Q] SuperOneClick does not work on LG Shine Plus - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hello,
I have just got a LG Shine Plus Andriod phone from Telus in Canada, and I tried to run SuperOneClick with USB Debugging mode enabled and the SD Card removed and here is what I have got:

Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks a lot!

And when I tried to use GingerBreak, the program just freezed after complaining that I do not have /usr/local/tmp/boomsh and sh.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Problem solved, a bit of Googling helped me:

Someone also met me this question?
Nobody will?
I'm needing root so I can figure out what APN my 005SH connects to so I can use its SIM card. Can you at least see your APN info on your 003SH since they're sisters?
Well, I would personally try GingerBreak and not bother with this one.
Please pose in pre existing thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682 on that note thread closed.

[Q] Rooting my android device.

Hey, so I got my first android phone the other day. On the box it's called a; "Telstra Encore".
So I want to root it, and I have no clue how as I'm new to the android system.
Here are my phone's settings;

- Kernal Version = 3.0.8-perf-svn15811
