Welcome to the official thread for "Red Hot Synergy"! This should be the final version of this theme, for there isn't anything else that I feel needs to be done. There is a 3d Carousel Version and also a version to theme the framework on the 4.53 Evo OTA, check the downloads section to find those. Sense saw a lot of framework changes from 1.0 to 2.1 so it would be more of a recreation than a port. Are you guys using that for the stability? Cuz I saw a lot of 2.1+3.0 ports. I was planning to port this theme to a full 3.0 base next. Have y'all tried one of those?

Yea I use the official leak for the most part for overall stability but also for speed. They are a great canvas to work from and try new things since you already know everything thats there works.
I just think a version of this based on the leak will be big especially when verizon/htc releases the official version ota to the public this month and many newcombers start looking around for a way to "spruce" it up a bit.
Be cool to see it on a pure 3.0 ROM. They are more than stable for daily far as I am concerned.

I feel that. Our 4.53 update is 1.0 so it might be the same. Which would make it simple to port. We'll see what happens after I finish this honey comb theme

lol so you are getting a lot of hits(DL) from the dinc users i thought it was pretty quiet around here and my dude who has the evo3D wanted this theme on his phone but the only problem is hes not rooted or really into this stuff just seen mine and really wanted it lol it could possibly work for them too idkk... id test it lol but i dont have a evo3D

This theme is one I ported to the Eris a couple of months ago from the EVO. It was originally done by Slayer69. All credit for the original design goes to him. All I did was bring it to our devices and resize everything and now am putting it in Theme Chooser.
This is still somewhat of a WIP but it's usable and working great on the Eris so I thought I'd share it with you guys on the Hero as well . The main part of the theme is all done in Theme Chooser. Just download the apk, install it like any other app, select it in Theme Chooser and reboot. The battery icon is like the one in my battery mod and does read in 1% increments. If you want the skull sliders there is a Metamorph file to add those. Theme Chooser does not support lock screen theming so I had to do the sliders separately. If you use them just be sure as always to make a nand backup before morphing in case something goes wrong or you decide you want to revert back to the stock sliders . There is also a Dragons version of this theme that I will add once I have this one completely finished.
The sliders can also be installed using ZipThemer which is free from the market and easy to use. It creates an update zip you can flash from recovery and also creates a backup of your current setup in case you want to revert back to the original sliders without having to do a nandroid backup/restore. I personally prefer ZipThemer to Metamorph but it's your choice.
NOTE: When using this theme you need to disable display battery percentages in CM settings for the battery icon to work properly.
As always what you do to or with your phone is your decision and your responsibility, not mine I've attached some screen shots and the files below.
Anyone having problems with Theme Chooser displaying themes I've put together a zip you can flash from recovery to bring your themes back

Cyan Dragon V2.4 - Updated 4/8/2011. Reworked theming of Launcher2, LauncherPro, and Go Launcher. Added new wallpaper courtesy of drakko1980. Redid a lot of the menu as well to fix cut-off text. Now being built completely in Linux with T-Mobile modified SDK which means no need to flash the Theme Chooser fix anymore. You also shouldn't get the missing assets error anymore.

Yes I did lol Hoping to get some people to test the theme out over here too before I finish it up and add the Dragon theme so I can start themeinmg some of the apps and stuff too lol. I also have a couple of themed clocks in my thread on the Eris forum... They are kinda spread through the thread though I should probably put them somewhere a little easier to find lol.

Not real sure Are you getting some kind of error when you select it in Theme Chooser? You might get an error saying it's missing assets for your device. If so select apply anyway.

This theme is still somewhat under construction, but its getting there! The zip includes the theme, a modded stock gingerbread launcher that i themed blue, a themed google search bar widget, themed dialer, paul diddys remix blue trans xda app, and a couple Infused wallpapers i made. I hope you enjoy!
*8/27 V3 released. Added themed settings menu. Changed the pulldown bottom bar a little. Adjusted some transparency issues on the pulldown and added a new notification tray so its more readable now. *8/22 Added transparent pulldown background with blue android dude as requested as well as a tab style bottom bar. Added a different themed dialer. *8/20 After a full day of failed attempts at a pulldown background Ive been working on, I decided to go ahead and give you guys a little update to flash until I get that project done.
*Changes include - Updated the blue overscroll glow (no longer weak sauce, it is now super bright!) Quite a few various framework tweaks, Loading spinners themed. Themed power menu (menu from holding down the power button) Blue transparent themed XDA app added (Paul Diddys Remix). Added the themed dialer. Updater script fixed (now says the right theme and my xda name on install) Cant really remember what else. Hope you like.
*8/18 Added themed dialer.
*8/17 NEW UPDATE - Revamped pretty much the whole theme. Alot of the framework, changed the pulldown menu and notification tray in the pull down. Themed the signal data arrows to match the theme (no longer orange and green).All the menus have a blue glow behind them now. More to come!
*8/15 Cool Blue v1 released
WARNING- If you dont know what this is, and the risk involved, then you probably shouldnt flash it. I would not try this on anything below Infused v2. Its been tested only on v2.0.2 and now v2.0.5 as well. If you dont feel comfortable doing this, i wouldnt do it. Consider this a disclaimer.
Directions:
Download revampedv3.zip, place on your phone, and flash via CWM.
If you want the modded launcher, or google bar, or any other add-ons by itself, place in system/apps via root explorer.

Did the latest update and first boot wouldn't load my screens they were just black so I did reboot through power and all is perfect? Don't know why it did that but oh well. Grey notification is a little hard to read not too bad. Def wanna see some more custom stuff. Awesome theme.

hmm, i dont know why it did that on boot, thats odd, but at least it worked out. And yeah I noticed that bottom part of the text on the grey is hard to read, im gonna try to fix that when we I get home this afternoon.Im glad you like it, and Thanks for the feedback!

Rom is based off Virus's Infection rom. I have always been a fan of AOSP, and I have been using Cyanogenmod since almost day one after getting my Evo. However, I always miss the sense dialer, camera, and very inconvenient having to nandroid back and forth to get PRL updates or to fix GPS. I have tried the new GB 2.1 + 3.0 combination but battery life wasn't as good as AOSP.
Anyways, this isn't the newest/greatest but it gets the job done for me. Just thought I share this with the people out there that might be searching for a light weight sense rom.

Actually, yeah, now that I think of it, this seems exactly like a re-posting of Virus' rom, unless I'm missing something.
This was virus whole concept with his Airborne series (and possibly Infected, never ran that one), to make a senseless /rosie-less Sense rom.

Tried this rom and it hangs at startup. tried stock kernel and got to the email setup screen and it locked up again. Just wanted to let you know.

Not trying to be a **** at all. Yes, OP states it is 'based' off Virus' rom. That is different than simply re-posting Virus' rom. A lot different. And that,... is what supra was gonna look at.
That is why a changelog would be nice to see, unless i just somehow overlooked it. Edit: it appears a RAM optimization script was added.

I honestly don't know why. But I think the problem is because of the newer HW003/HW004 hardware.

I understand. But as mentioned in the first post, it is based on Virus's Infection Rom. I guess more correctly this is a customized version of Virus's Infection rom. First of all, I am by no means a developer, just another picky user. I made many little changes to his rom to my liking. The little changes are mostly graphical and like you mentioned above, only functional thing added was the RAM optimization script.
- I removed some of the sense stuff Virus left in.
- Got rid of that ugly "3D gradient selection bar" for Sense. (my opinion off course)
- Changed his lockscreen arc to the one used in Calkulin's Evio (forgot to give him credit)
- Changed a few of the framework icons to better match the theme. (his old sprint-hotspot icon and few other icons did not blend in well with the taskbar)
- Changed the "splash image" for the HTC apps that are left behind to better match the theme agains (i.e. browser, gallery, people, etc)
- Moved his launcherpro theme from 0.83 over to 0.86
- Resized the system font size to about 75% its original font size.
- Replace the HTC messaging with one from google.. (the HTC one was ugly imo)
- other little graphical things.
Once again, I am by no means a developer. I just customized this ROM for my own use, but wanted to share with others because there might be a few others out there that cares about function more than newest/greatest (ie 3.0/3.5). And after long search, I thought Virus's Infection rom gets the job done for me with the exception of some little graphical annoyances.

I never used his Airborne series before.
thanks ... i think the new radios arent compatible with froyo... i had to downgrade radios in order to use others froyo roms i still use... hope this helps

I love AOSP because of its battery life, but you gotta admit our EVO just works better with Sense.

maybe pri or nv? bu the way,, what does the nv does?
I have the latest radios, etc ... perhaps the problem is the base system being so old ... 3.29. I do know that the latest radios work with 3.70 froyo. Too bad ... I used your Diamond rom for many months!
Virus has airborne roms that have 3.70 base and are sense based. Just hit up infectedrom.com. they work with newest radios and are essentially the same as this.

Keep in mind this is my first sense theme so be kind and let me know what you think.
I'll try to update this when ever I have time to play around.
To use these I recommend using the app zipthemer its free on the market and very easy to use.
Instructions for zipthemer.
When you first open zipthemer it will create a folder on your sdcard named zipthemer. Take the morph and place it in that folder , now when you run the app again hit theme and pick the theme you want to build, then hit build it , it should give you the option to create an undo zip at the same time it builds the update zip. Once its finished you should have 2 zips on your sdcard just flash the one that says update from recovery after wiping cache and dalvik cache first then if you don't like my work just go back and flash the undo zip.
For a better guide on howto use the app and FAQ look HEREI hope I explained that clear enough for you guys.
Always nandroid first I shouldn't even need to tell anyone one this.

OK I made a pretty big morph for anyone who wants it just apply using metamorph or I would recommend zipthemer.

Looks good so far lins. Yeah, lately, most your screenshots have been a bit blurry. I was hesitant to flash Tommys ROM cuz I kept seeing all the screens that seemed so blurry, it left me thinking the ROM was blurry lol. Then I realized that was proposterous.

I've tried the XDA app, and then Chrome ("broken image" images), Firefox (blank spaces), and IE (just "x" marks) on my pc and still no luck. What am I missing?

Thats weird I posted them using the free xda app maybe try that but I just checked with the premium xda app and I see them there as well, I don't use chrome so IDK about that but I see them in firefox.
I remember someone a while ago having the same problem if the pics weren't attached but I don't know why.

Very weird, I'm using the free xda app as well. Also, when I right-click on one of the broken images and try and open it in a new tab, I get this: "Oops! Google Chrome could not find img.tapatalk.com"

Okay, here goes:
I've been playing awhile with hrkfdn great ported Oxygen ROM.
It's already light and fast! All hail goes to original dev and all those big guys!
So I made a few alterations -mods, if you prefer. In fact, I pushed this ROM even further, I just got to know how light and how fast a ROM can be, while still wanted it to be good looking. Remove some, added some, playing with various tweaks here and there -can't really recall everything.
Tried hard not to reach 60 MB, it's fun for me to know that I'm using a very light ROM. So here it is, a 58 Mb ROM for our DHD, that's way way smaller than the usual Sense ROMs and still half of CM and MIUI ROMs. There's plenty of room for our OWN creativity
Who would want a ROM such as this? Those who are taking a break from all the complexity of Sense, those who prefer clean & pure android experience, those who seek a fast and solid yet uncluttered base for hard-core gaming, and above all: those who dare to begin a personal endeavor into the endless sea of the Droid Unknown.
-This ROM is based on the earlier version of hrkfdn's ported Oxygen. If you prefer to taste the originals, do visit the original thread.
-The FM Radio is not functional on Oxygen builds. However, I've been using this ROM for everyday use, and no biggies that prevent me from using my DHD the way it should be used, but let me know if there's something that really wrong, I might know the way around.
-I'm no dev and this is not really a 'new' ROM, but I do love to share.. If this ROM pleases you, don't forget there are buttons in this page to express it I have not stop from modding this ROM, still curious if I can make it below 50 Mb so most probable there will (still) be future releases.. will be updating.

No probs dude, its glass widgets. Free version from market. As is the time. I stuck with Go Launcher to edit icons and size of some things. On other pages I have Android Pro Widgets. Themed up nice now. Also have Seesmic widest for SN stuff.

Switched to conservative to try and slow battery drain. Still flying but i have LOTS of apps on board.
Now it blows sense away.

Would be nice dude but it needs building into rom. There are tuts if you want to do your own version. I reserve the right to be lazy and let others do it

You need to learn dude. Search the forums. If you want to use my way add go Launcher and its theme maker app, to use t-mobiles theme chooser search for building a rom in general Android dev section, there is a really good easy guide.
