Does anyone know why the android market is now telling me that 2 out of 3 apps "are not compatible with my device"? Can it be rom related. I'm using VU 2.35 but I wouldn't think that'd have anything to do with it. My apologies this is the wrong section. I posted it originally in general "Q & A's" & was told it needed to be posted here...

Have you tried clearing your market cache and/or data?

I have tried that, still have the same problem as the creator of this thread...
Do you have your LCD density set to something other than 240? I have heard that this causes the exact issue on the market.

Would help if you listed your ROM you were on, build number as well.
When you say lost all mobile data, do you have any APN's listed? If not, thats your cause. Sometimes you can hit menu while in the APN section and select restore defaults, reboot and your good to go.
With out any more info its kinda hard to help.
Sorry running stock Gingerbread.
It was a program that I installed that caused this problem.

would be nice if you posted how you resolved the problem for other people trying to find answers.
For some weird reason I'm unable to download anything from the market because it keeps saying there is insufficient storage on the device, but I have 900mb internal and 4gb external can someone please help me fix this problem?

Wrong section. Please don't post this here. There are subcategories for a reason. Thanks.
Wrong section..... BUT, try clearing cache, reboot.

First, to parrot what others have said, its in the wrong section.
I have experienced this problem on certain ROMS too. To fix it, delete /cache/download*.apk . As in delete all apk files with 'download#'. It should alow you to install more apps from the market.

+1, I agree. MODS, close the thread, or move it.
Thread moved to Sensation Q&A.
I've tried full wipe and reinstalling the ROM but still nothing

You have to go to settings-applications-manage applications-all....go to the market and clear all data and cache from there. Then go back and log into the market and try to download.
If none of the above helps try uninstalling the updates from market place. It should work then. I did this. Nothing else worked for me than this.

lol, i like how the op went and reflashed the rom when all he was told was to clear cache
Does anyone get applications that they used to use on their G2x before that get the "your device is not compatible" error in the market? I get it for the XDA premium app and I always ran it on CM7 now I cannot any ideas what to do?

Me too weird.

Try to clean the cache
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Yeah, I started getting it on a game called Sprinkle.. if I flash back to stock it works fine but it doesn't on the new version of CM7 (2.3.7). If I flash an older version, it still works.
Maybe the developers don't have the newest version flagged since the only phone that "should" have it is the Nexus S 4G.
In most cases cleaning cache solves the problem. If u played with ur screen resolution just back to 240

Had the same issue and cleaning the cache solved it. Ideally if you have CWM installed 'wipe the /cache partition"

i want to change the kernel of the original ROM ,but after i changed the kernel, then cannot open the wifi ,why??
I'm afraid you're going to have to be a bit more specific and clear to get a helpful answer.

Try wiping data and cache from the recovery. It might help!
If it doesn't work, try posting more details, like which device are you using, which kernel you have installed or which recovery you used to install it.
Which phone?
Which rom?
Which version of android is it on?

A lot of apps that are usually compatible with my device aren't anymore. I cleared the data on my Google Play app and fixed permissions in the boot loader but that didn't seem to work. Is anyone else having this issue as well?

Wrong section. Try reflashing your ROM then if that doesn't work try running an RUU. Don't forget the factory reset and clearing the davlik cache and cache when flashing
