does anybody have transparent statusbar on desireS?
i have this CM7.1. tried UOT kitchen (with uploading androidian.apk, cyanbread.apk, systemUI.apk) and flashable zips posted in general android theming forum. nothing worked...
can anyone share their experience?

Can anyone create theme with all the blue highlights,like the NRGZ or xannytech`s Rom? I installed and used both the roms but both had some issues. But ireally like the way their rom looks. So please If any one can provide them. Thanx in advance.

I saw a theme i think it may have been on a droid forum not sure....It was for a aqua or teal green theme. the theme changes the default icons to the aqua color and also updates the status bar. it is an update zip. that i used on enom rom. but i think the rom can be used on other. please someone tell me the name of the theme so i can download again. I deleted it on accident now i cant find it...thx

i want to cook for me an cyanogemod ROM .i would create an Theme with the UOT Kitchen for this ROM.
which APK´s can i upload? This ROM has an Themechooser, but i would this new theme as default at first start.
I hope anyone can help me!

This is the wrong section for this question, but anyways
If you don't want to use the theme chooser method, you have to upload the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk in the kitchen, CM has no resources.apk (only present in Sense Roms).

i tried to use Uot Kitchen with my Htc ChaCha. I used this Rom. I don't know why, but it doesn't work. There is also a guy who started a Thread where he fixed the problem with this Rom. The problem is, that the link doesn't work anymore. So can anyone help me? It's also okay if you give me an alternative Rom which works with Uot Kitchen. I hope you can help me.

As far as I know UOT is no longer working with gingerbread and under android versions.
I tried to make my statusbar transparent by editing statusbar.xml and changing the backgroud the usual way...but the statusbar remains black and the statusbar icons becomes blurry..and wen a notification come..its like this..see the screenshot
Can you tell us what is your device, it would be better for giving you a good direction as answer
If you're stock, rooted etc.. rom ?
Its karbonn a9 its a stock statusbar

I don't understand why you post a question here about a problem with a status bar, then you can contact the dev of the rom that you support here

xD actually i already added quickpanel...
but i wanna theme it like kitkat...so need to make it transparent...the orginal dev of blaze rom is guneet atwal..he made it for karbonn a5 and i ported it in a9 but used stock statusbar...i tried making the statusbar of other roms transparent and its works like a charm..so why not in stock?
