Id do a full reboot to see if that fixes anything. If not, then Id reflash/reformat the phone. Sometimes the phones get a little crazy and need a kick in the pants.

I've noticed this and its really annoying..... if I have a chat going in google talk, and lock the screen and when I get a new message, it won't allow me to type anything anywhere just after the screen is unlocked... After waiting about 30 seconds or so everything is fine. This happens with just about any app... Any ideas? This is on android 2.2.1 Thanks
Anyone have any ideas? This is really frustrating...
Ive had this happem, but only after i used a task killer to see how much RAM i could free up. Then i uninstalled task killer and rebooted and hasnt happened since

Do you have your phone plugged in? I had some unresponsive screen issues with my Inc that was caused by a cheap charger.

This is also happening with mine...
I was going to start a new thread, but decided to see if anyone has this issue. Mine does the same thing. It will not respond at all ... market, net, text.. nada. I thought maybe it was ADW Launcher ... so i disabled it among other things, and now it only does it ever so often, but still enough in a day to be counter intuitive to being a "smart" phone. Any ideas or help with this would be good =D I also tried to uninstall the task killer and manager. This had no effect. Thanks!
Theres an update to ATK and have it set to every 15 minutes instead of when the screen is off... and set it to aggressive instead of crazy.... I dont have this issue anymore!
on my thunderbolt i've been messing around streaming a couple flash videos. On my browser, i have settings set to "on-demand" for plugins so I have to click a flash element before it even begins to load. now, occassionally, i'll open a tab with a flash video, and as soon as i type the flash element, the browser exits immediately and I re-open the browser to find all my tabs closed and it loads up google (homepage). Its only sometimes that this happens and I haven't checked to see if auto-loading flash elements make a difference, but I do know that it's happened to me on the thunderbolt's browser as well as in dolphin HD browser.
anyone ever experience this? I remember it happening on my OG droid, maybe just an android quirk?
Bump
Anyone? It just happened to me again when i wasnt even trying to play flash...its really annying when you have 5-6 tabs open with no easy way to restore them when i reopen the browser
Turn off add ons and see if that helps at all.

Maybe one of the sites you have open has a script stuck running and wont complete....
I've had this happen a few times. I wasn't trying to use flash, however.
Happened to me once so far on T bolt. Happened a few times on some other android phones ive had. Idk what causes it. Its random.
Yeah it's a mystery I guesd. Overclocked to 1.5ghz today though!
Go To apps in settings menu and look for the internet app and clear chache and clear data should work

When I type into the search engine on Google.com it hides my typing like as if I were typing a password??? I have tried factory reset, I have tried fixing permissions. It only does it there. I think it might be tied to app Absolute system that I am using to change system fonts.
I am rooted using sense, stock kernel, and radio right now.
Anyone else seen this? Know of a fix?

I am having the same problem. It started this morning. I did some searching on the internet and apparently it's a global issue on Google's side. From what I have read they are aware of the issue and are working on resolving it.
Ah I searched and didn't see anything. But did find it was only on their site but don't know why it wouldn't affect everyone then??? It's weirding me out.

Ive got a UK wifi Xoom on wingray 59. Every day at some point the browser becomes unresponsive and I'm unable to click any links. I have to reboot the tab to correct it. Is there a work around for this? I don't want to use dolphin as I like the chromeness of the stock pics browser.
So no-one else gets browser lock ups in wingray then?
I also get lockups. The dialog box to close or wait pops up so I just click wait. It normally continues from then on. Sometimes the browser just shuts down. I am not to concerned as my chrome browser on windows does this too quite often.
It is normally on large pages with many links I think.

Recently after "upgrading" to stock ICS, my phone has been crashing randomly. Mostly when im using the stock web browser or YouTube apps. YouTube crashes are especially common for me, they usually happen when the screen rotates during video playback. Web crashes are random. Usually takes my phone a solid 2-5 minutes to become responsive again, that or I have to do a hard reboot. Not rooted. Everything stock. Help?
Since I develop Android apps, I tried using the logcat in IntelliJ to see where exceptions were being thrown, but I was unable to pinpoint the source of the crashes.
