best sense 3.0 rom - HTC Inspire 4G

ok so im a bit new to the inspire(longtime g2 user) and noticed basically tons of sense 3.0 roms so i had to ask, which one is the best. im talking about speed, one with the most free ram, best preformance enhancements. and full sense 3.0 roms not sense 2.1 with 3.0 parts. thanks in advance

There are none that are the best. They are all good. I personally use virtuous. Its an awesome rom. Try it out

Also coredroid. I'm running version 8 and I like it except for the battery

There is no best rom thread. Only best for you. I could tell you that X rom is the best but it runs bad for you. Try them out and take your pick of the one that works best for you. If you had searched you would have seen this.

The purpose of rooting your phone is so YOU can try out each rom and YOU can decide what YOU want, no one can make those decisions for YOU. Honestly, everyone will swear by the ROM they like so the only way to know is by testing them yourself.
shameless plug before the lock, BinDroid has been the absolute best.
both. have fun flashing
There is no better or best rom. Only what works best for you. Each device and how we use them are different. I could say XYZ rom is the best but you get lag and battery drain.
A search would have told you this.

Endymion IMHO

I personally recommend Hyperion if you are after a stock experience, with tweaks..

Both very good roms with top class support. What I did was installed and setup both, took a nandroid backup of each that way you can flick between the two and decided which you prefer.

I'm using Endymion. Very happy with the performance and stability....

Yeah thats the one!
For sense 3.0 or 3.5 itll be worth using hboot 2.00.2002 also, and if you used revolutionary youll want to change from the revolutionary hboot anyway as if you get into problems like bootloops in the future, the revolutionary hboot is harder to overwrite...
BeatMod BlissSense Hybrid| Sense 3.5 | 2.3.5

What's the difference between sense 3.0 and 3.5? I prefer using the hyperion sense 3.0 but I found that it lag a bit sometime... and its battery sucking!! Omg.... :O any other 3.0 stock Rom and android 2.3.5 with less mod? Like without custom boot animations xD and of cos, less bugs, fast, less battery sucking, best? Lol thank you very much

There are no custom boot animations on Hyperion V2.1, and the base look is completely stock on the last version. The RCTweaks come pre-installed, which can mess with the look of Rosie and the status bar, but you can configure them to behave stock-ish.
Anyway, what do you mean by "less bugs"? To my knowledge, there are no bugs.
One thing, and this should be made a sticky (hear me Ben?):
If you unlocked your phone using HTCDev, you are still S-ON, and the kernel is not being written when you flash the rom. Any rom. So you have to manually flash boot.img from the rom you want using fastboot.
If you try a 3.5 rom and it doesn't even boot, this is the problem.
Cheers

In my experience Hyperion is marginally better for battery but there is not a huge amount in it, but, Endymion wins in all other areas.
So the best sense 3.5 Rom is endymion?

What is the best ICS Sense 3.6 Rom?

I'm new to the Sensation threads and wanted to know your views on the best ICS roms.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using xda premium
If you are new to the scene I would definitely recommend Mikes Android revolution HD 6.51. It's the most downloaded ROM of all time and in my opinion the most complete. Other than that, each ROM suits everyone different, take a look at all the different ROMS and their features and screen shots and see which one you like the best.

Haha then we are on the same page, I have tried a couple but always seem to go back to ARHD because of how clean it looks. I'm waiting for a more stable release of a ics sense 4.0 ROM, maybe I'll try one now for heck of it.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA
IMO it depends. When I want stock 100% look I go with AR HD. If I want a customized install I go with Insert Coin. There are many other great ROMS i haven't tried (lack of time).

elegancia is quite good, but I don't like the style of the icons, too many colors, that's why I like ARHD, because it's really sober and pure. But that's my advice!

Android Open Source Project.
ARHD for me as well.
there are a lot of solid ROMS out ther also, Energy and Elegancia are good as well. RCMIX was one of my favorites before (but seems like development stopped it seems)
I've just tried Senseless ICS. It over heats and not stable. Hope there will be a stable version soon.

[Q] best rom for good battery and good performance

Ok im wanting to try to flash a rom again. Its been awhile that i've been using stock because i've had to replace my phone like 2 times already and i think it might've been cause of roms. But i want to try flashin a rom again. So i wanted to kno what u guys think is the best rom for good battery and good performance.
If you want to stay with the stock-look, threading sensation rom is a very good compromise between battery and performance. If you want android stock you can try bruce's cm10 or opensensation2

Can u link me to the rom and i just install it with all the defaults in setup?
I'm using a senseless rom called paranoid Android. I get excellent battery life, it's fast, smooth like butter and stable. It also has lots of customisation available. I use it as my daily rom. Do yourself a favor and try out several different roms because if you don't your selling yourself short. There could be something out there that's just perfect for you but you will never know unless you try. Do a nandroid backup and you can restore easily to your previous rom. But you really need not just take opnion. You should see for yourself because what one person likes, might not be for you. So I Highly suggest trying out several before you decide on what your going to use as you're daily rom. Do give paranoid Android a try. It's a great rom with active development! Remember it's all about what suits YOUR needs and you won't know what's available unless you try out different ones. This is solid advice. I do hope you take it. If not your selling yourself short. You really need to experience for yourself what's available. That's the fun part! I wish you the best. Happy flashing.
