Ok so i gave up my infuse to my wife and got the s2 . I kinda like the text app on Sgs 2 and wanna know what i would have to do to get it on the infuse ..

Can you not copy it out of the /system/app folder on the SGS2 and then push it to the infuse?
If you pull it out and send it to me I will make a flashable zip for you if you want.

I would like to have this too,Been looking for it

This is the stock SGSII mms apk from DG's cognition SGSII rom. I tried pushing it through root explorer and changed all permissions and rebooted, but it kept FCing on me, but yall can give it a shot, hope it works!

The whole app could use an AOSP theme, not just the splash. maybe you feel up to the task?

Most of the forum apps let you choose between a dark or light color scheme but I can't find it on this app.

My understanding is you need to be rooted and on ICS and then install to system apps and then fix permissions.

works just fine for me, using latest austrian stock 4.0.3(drei.at)
only that it's slow and uses the german voice to read english sentences, which sounds pretty funny btw

No go for me either, running BlackDragon 4.5 I get immediate FC every time. Tried superficial remedies to no avail (cache wipe, fix permissions, etc). Has anyone else tried Iris? It's worked pretty well for me as an alternative.

You do need to use QPST in order to do a proper backup. Don't listen to that other guy.

I'm running the same build. Everything is working including MMS and my imei is still there. I haven't tried Bluetooth a2dp yet though
