Stuck on bootloader - HTC Desire S

Hello
I was on dirby-H beta - Gingerbread 2.3.5 rom and wanted go back to stock rom. I did everything like in this guide (last time i had no problems to restore stock and s-on) and now im stuck on bootloader. Phone boots to bootloader only (im s-on now, hboot version 0.98.000, recovery is gone). When i run RUU it says update from version 10.47.401.4 to 1.28.401.1, reboots to bootloader. Everything goes fine until i get this. Adb gives me error: device not found. One thing that i forgot to do before downgrading hboot, i did no wipe.
So, does this means my phone is "bricked"? I have warranty for 2 years and im s-on, so my warranty isn't gone, right?.
I will be grateful for any help

Please help :(

This is my problem: I can only boot the Android Revolution HD (version number doesn't matter) on my Sensation. No other ROM, not even STOCK, will boot. Don't know why.
I tried reflashing the RUU to see if maybe THAT would boot... no luck. Now I'm stuck with HBOOT 1.17.0.0008 (or whatever; stock HBOOT), NOT revolutionary S-OFF, but I AM indeed S-OFF. Stock Recovery. CID is stock as well. And can't get the system to boot.
I'm currently trying to revert back to my previous setup. But, trying to flash the CWR 5.0.2.0 via fastboot is giving me a "not allowed" fail message. Trying to flash a radio gives me the same message.
I'm stumped... Is this a call for S-ON and warranty return?

[SOLVED] Hangs on bootscreen after RUU

Downgrading hboot with this guide ... OK
Used revolutionary ... OK
Use RUU to install RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.8_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_382 ... OK
Rebooting ... HANGS
Now i can't enter recovery mode any more. When i try i get a red triangle with an exclamation mark (like this). So i can't boot, but i can't flash a new rom either. The bootloader still says "revolutionary" and S-off.
I have tried booting a couple of times. The phone won't boot even after 2 hours.
Any way to flash a new (custom) rom?
Why did you downgrade only to upgrade later down the line when you're saying you want to install a custom ROM.
If you have your heart set on flashing that RUU do this;
The problem you are having is because you're still on the rev hboot. Flash eng hboot 0.98.2000 (use fastboot) then try the RUU again.
The recovery you are seeing is the stock one.
I'm unsure if flashing a recovery like cwm right now will allow you to flash roms like normal. I assume it will though.
Do some more reading cause you need it.
The phone didn't had the right language (Dutch) so i wanted to flash a new rom.
Before i could flash the rom i needed to downgrade because of the wrong hboot version.
I have downloaded Eng S-off from here. I can boot into fastboot and run that batch?
Problem solved.
Flashed Clockworkmod through fastboot. After that recovery worked again.
I flashed a custom rom this time. That one worked, so i'll stick with that.

[Q] Problem with system update

Hi Everyone.
The story is as follows:
I've had my Desire S for a few months now, It was rooted, s-off etc.
I had to send it in for repair because of a faulty digitizer, so before sending it I reinstalled the stock rom (android 2.3.3) and updated the bootloader to the new one (so now it's locked, s-on, and ver. 2.00.0002)
The problem I'm having at the moment is happening while trying to apply the official HTC system update. it downloads, asks if I would like to install, then restarts and I get to the bootloader where it says "Securiy Warning" (right under *** LOCKED ***) and it just sits there.
I tried copying the rom into the root directory of the sd card and naming it PG88IMG.zip, it starts loading it in hboot with a progress bar, then says "checking" again, finishes that process as well and just goes back to the bootloader home screen.
So basically I can't find any other way to update my stock rom, and rooting with the new hboot is way too long of a procedure at the moment. Does anyone have any ideas for a solution?
Thanks in advance,
Max
First of all if bootloader is locked you need to unlock it from
http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader/
Second if your stuck on bootloader and phone is not booting try this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488672
Third you can try to return to stock rom and flash android recovery from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1589150
Then try to install update
Finally if that didn't work and you have Root Access and S-OFF try to use ROMs
like Saga3D wich is based on official RUU

No network, phone is not recognized in fastboot

Hi guys,
need your help, cause Im lost. I have One SV - k2UL, S-ON, H-boot 2.00, radio 1.15.40a.00.04
I unlocked bootloader, did root, flashed Bluedonkey rom and flashed boot.img through fastboot cause of S-ON. Everything was fine working until my battery drained and phone turned off. Since then, the phone boots, cant wont load simcard and gets in hot reboot loop. I tried to flash different ROM (SATURN III), flashing thourh recovery works, but I´m getting Unable to mount initSD error. When i reboot to fastboot to flash boot.img it tells me waiting for device and phone is not recognized by my laptop. I tried to reinstal drivers, but it tells me i have the latest drivers..
Any idea whats wrong?
Bluedonkey is "only" a themed version of Saturn III. Boot.img is the same for both (stock kernel).
You need try to go to recovery and flash a rom again. Maybe try the stock rom first.
I tried to flash the rom again, rom boots, but wont give me the option to unlock simcard. It tells me no service on lockscreen and when I unlock the screen, it gets hotreboots with the same result - no service..
Also without simcard?
yup, same result
by stock rom... do you mean OTA or RUU?
[ROM] Jelly Bean Stock Odexed k2_u & k2_ul (cwm flashable)
If that not work than S-Off, SuperCid & RUU.
i tried to flash it, but didnt work.. same results. gonna have to go through that S-off etc..

[Q] Stuck on HTC logo after running RUU for S-OFF Unlocked HBOOT 2.15

In trying to update the HBOOT from 2.15 to 2.18, I tried to flash ATT 3.18 RUU on an S-OFF, Bootloader unlocked ATT One X.
Everything seem to go fine until I rebooted. Now all I can do is notice is that the top line reads as "RELOCKED" and the radio and everything else updated fine, but it won't go beyond the HTC logo now.
Tried flashing a recovery via FASTBOOT which seems to send the file but do nothing, I also tried to unlock it again using the original bootloader unlock.bin from HTCDEV, but that is failing as well. I can't go into recovery at all now to flash any custom ROM as well.
Any guidance on getting around this, I have seen some "Relocking" threads but none for AT&T HTC One X. Appreciate the forum's guidance in getting through this mess up.
Did you actually relock the bootloader yourself? An RUU can't normally do that.

No, For some reason, my ADB/Fastboot commands didn't get response from the Phone, and then I simply flashed the RUU. That's where it started showing as relocked. After breaking sweat over what was happening, I went ahead and flashed it again and it seems The RUU was not successful in the 1st attempt since it booted nicely after the 2nd flash.
Currently I had to request a new unlock code to unlock the bootloader again and now it is unlocked successfully and the phone is alive and getting a rest before I flash 5.0 ROMs on it. I have renamed it Phoenix due to the 2 bricks it went through and still able to function as my primary device after 30 months of purchase.
