Hello,
I am planning to swap my sisters 1650 mah battery (from i9003) to my Galaxy S i9000, which holds a 1500mah battery ?
will it work if i put i9003s 1650mah battery to my galaxy s ?
are both the batteries of the same quality (except the one having extra 150 mah capacity) ?
Same question already asked further down the page. Search is your best friend
(Quality should be exactly the same if from the same company.)

No issues. Iam using the i9003 battery on my i9000 for the last 1 month. Long battery life.
Very sneaky to steal your sister's battery.
I bought a i9003 battery only. Nice to have 10 % more ... feels a little bit more comfortable, but its no big step

german ebay seller.
took me some time to find ...
@DeathMetalX
Could you please post a link ? it's really hard to find the 1650mAh version, there are mostly 1500mAh batteries...
I think sofiz.co.uk had them, also someone posted a 20% off coupon for it too. I can't remember where I saw it though, sorry.
Sent from my Galaxy far, far away!
Thx ,but i'm looking for a german seller....

To anyone that has upgraded to a 1650, how is it? And did you clear battery stats?
Thanks for the link, good price but...

I had only seen the first one und I also ordered that one. The product number is the same and it has 1650mAh
My experience so far is, that the battery lasts slightly longer than the original, but since this strongly depends on the actual usage I can't provide you with detailed numbers...
Barely noticeable here, using one for 3 months now but can't say that it improved that much, comparing it with my one year old 1500 mah one!
Hello,i use the (Armani/9003?)1650mhA battery in my i9000 and it last 48 hours with low usage,i have noticed a slower battery drain under huge system load.
Miui Overclocked to 1.2ghz,ondemand governor
the improvements are not huge but it's worth

Great find! Think I gotta get me one of these
Good news. Have anybody tested this battery? please let us know about your experience
I have the momax x-level 1700 mAh, same idea; arrived yesterday from hongkong (direct order from their webstore)
Used stock 1500mAh the day before, charged to full at work and left on battery overnight; was at 75% by the time I got to the office next morning. Same setup with the 1700 mAh (charged at work until leaving, uncharged last night) had me at 85% when I got to the office.
Haven't charged at all today; so now at 31 hours on battery, 2 hours screen use (light browsing, email, tasklist, couple of calls etc) and still at 52%. Pretty impressed, to be honest. Tweaky JVP with gallery 3d frozen and autorotate turned off most of the time as both drain my battery normally.
Given mugen have a good rep for batteries, I imagine should be about the same or better performance for their 1700mAh.
~30€ for an non-genuine battery? I would buy a normal i9003 battery with 1650 mah for 22€ I guess :\
Sounds good, i think i need one. Seems like that some no-samsung batteries have good health.

I have this Andida branded 1850mAh battery... probably not 1850mAh, well most likely not. Still works nice though, you can see it here youtube.com/watch?v=lbfABHz06Uw , they also have a website andida.hk/en/ but can't find the battery there!

Hi guys, I'm wondering if Galaxy S SL (GT-I9003) or Galaxy S Plus (GT-I9001) fit into Galaxy S (GT-I9000) ?
Since both SGS SL and SGS Plus using standard battery Li-Ion 1650 mAh would be bit good to replace Li-Ion 1500 mAh on SGS. Since my SGS battery kinda drop now.
Yes, the 1650mAh batterie of the Galaxy S SL (GT-I9003)/Galaxy S Plus (GT-I9001) fit into the Galaxy S (GT-I9000).
Yup. It will fit in the I9000 (i'm using one now)
Does it more long last compare to standard 1500mAh ?
well surely it'll last longer than 1500
I have a 1650 mAh battery into my i9000 but it comes from the Galaxy S Armani (though, the size is actually the same as SL and Plus). It's slightly heavier and just a bit thicker but it fits normally if you're using the original battery door.
I can't really say that +150 mAh changed my life, i can't even tell the difference, but an OEM replacement battery is surely better than the crap you find on eBay. Go for it.

You guys should get the SGS2 epic 1800mah battery, it fits fine and its 20% more than stock (unlike 1650 which is only 10%).
See thread below

SGS2 batt and SGS/SGSL/SGS+ batt are different right???
currently im using 1650mah batt from my wife i9003 (i switch it bcoz my wife didnt use the phone aggressively compare to me).so far so good, but not noticeable the extend time using it,..
maybe a few hours extend, thats all depends on ur batt consumption also..
Aren't they essentially the same stuff?!

I bought a 1800mAh battery from Polarcell a few days ago on ebay. Same size as the original 1500mAh battery so you dont need an extended back cover.

I recently bought two Pisen 1700mAh batteries from dx.com (Deal Extreme), and I've been very happy with their permormance.
Running CM10, Semaphore kernel with Deep Idle my phone easily goes two to three days of moderate use without recharging.
Battery drain during sleep is pretty much nonexistent, 8h of sleep results in max 2% drain.
Might be better stuff out there, but I'm happy, and they were dirt cheap

i guess this is the one http://dx.com/p/replacement-3-7v-17...msung-i897-i9000-i9003-i9010-i9088-more-93330
Although i found 3 more comparable (if anyone can give some opinions about them that would be great) :
1700mAh: http://dx.com/p/replacement-3-7v-1700mah-extended-battery-for-samsung-i9000-galaxy-s-132216
1800mAh: http://dx.com/p/replacement-3-7v-18...23?rt=1&p=2&m=3&r=2&k=1&t=1&s=132216&u=127723
2430mAh: http://dx.com/p/replacement-3-7v-24...387rt=1&p=2&m=3&r=2&k=1&t=1&s=132216&u=136387
After half year of usage i can say that the Pisen 1700mAh is a good replacement. Medium usage of the phone = 3 days of battery life, 3g internet on all the time, running JB4.2.

Take longer time to charge on usb or car adapter, but it is bigger... so probably normal.

Hello guys, I wonder if you can help me at all. I have a Samsung gt-i9000 running android 4.3 at the moment . When I upgraded the OS (I was on 4.0) I have noticed that the battery life decreased dramatically, It lasts no longer than half a day. I have already changed one battery but with not much success, so
I started to look into high capacity ones. I had a look around and found a few reviews here and there but not specifically for the gt-i9000 – even this useful one here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1956293 . So I wonder:
1)has anybody tried one of these high capacity batteries on the gt-i9000? I looked at the zerolemon 7500mAh and the anker 52000mAh - although I don't know whether these are compatible with my phone;
2)I presume that the high capacity batteries are actually thicker than the default 1500mAh I have at the moment, so when you buy one do they come with another back cover?

Hi, I recently bought a Polarcell 1800mAh battery on Ebay which gives me half a day more juice on Galaxy running CM 10.2. I found out that all batteries above this capacity are massively thicker than the original one and do require a wider back cover. Most of these bigger ones are shipped together with a back cover.
Regarding your questions about the zerolemon, I only found batteries for the S2 and the S3 which wont fit for the S1.
not your battery at fault, sounds like you got wakelock issues. with your rom.
thanks guys.
@zegovernator I think I need something more powerful than 1800mAh so I might need to get a bulky one. I have found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3000mAh-B...-Extended-with-Black-back-cover-/150981110923 that seems to be good enough.
@slybunda, thanks for your comment. If it is an issue with that, would you know how to fix it without me buying another battery?
thanks
use app called better battery stats and see the individual wakelocks I had issues with google currents and hangouts both which I don't use so I disabled them and got my full battery life back. have a look for one of my posts in the i9000 battery threads got screenshots of very good battery life
Got 1800 battery from Anker, very good.
Only charges slowly with the car adapter.
Depends on kernel and rom for how long it lasts.. Was very good using android 4.3 but recently battery was discharging fast after gapps update.
Fine again now on kitkat
Buy from Ebay 1800 in good price,I did =)
