The first thing, I'm curious if anyone is able to mess with this.
Its missing Numbers I think, nothing shows up on my weather. Its a very nice font and a little hard to read.
So I'm curious if anyone is able to make it a little easier to read and add numbers to it?
About size, is there a font size changer of some sort?

If anyone could do this I'd appreciate it alot. If you can't that's fine, or if you could find a font sizer changer too.

Apologies if this has been answered before -- my search-fu turned up nothing.
I've made a replacement helvetica thin font file based on the Satisfaction font, however on TF3D's weather tab, the current weather cannot display because it seems that the font size is too large. Usually what I see is the degree symbol and part of a number.
What, exactly, would I have to do to fix that? I couldn't find a registry for the font size, but I'm not so good at this kind of stuff.
Any solutions would be appreciated...

One of the reasons i love android so much is the ability to customize your phone. What id like to know is whether or not there is any way to change the color of the application icons?

Hello fellow Ontarian... I don't think you can just change the colour of the icons without extracting and actually making an icon pack with your edited icons. Once you do that, then you can use what I use to change the icons. I use Folder Organizer. There's also Bettercut. Here's an example of the icon pack I use.

BTW, no need to be rooted to change these icons.
Thanks man im going to give it a shot. Im trying to learn a bit more about apk files and fidling with them. But, just the same im glad there is an easy solution.
Cheers,

Ok so what I'd like to do is take fonts from some of the free font packs available from the market, and use them as fonts in Beautiful Widgets.
I've installed them, but BW doesn't see them.
So, I'm assuming what I'll have to do is pull the font packs in adb, and push them back somewhere else. I don't know what directory they need to be in, though.
I could also be completely wrong and not know what the hell I'm talking about. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Also, if anyone can tell me how to go about changing the system font, that would be helpful.
Edit: Ok figured this out. Still don't know how to get beautiful widgets to recognize fonts...
Ok. I'm an idiot. I forgot the BW settings only allow you to change the CLOCK font. The date font is changed by changing the system font which I've already got covered. Der. Mods you can delete this whole thread if you like.
Can anyone give suggestions on how to get an icon to overlap multiple slots. Launcherpro allows you to resize widgets, but if you use an icon to resize it doesn't make it bigger just centers it, thoughts?
I've never tried this but what if you reduced the number of rows and columns?
Desktop Visulizar
Download Desktop Visualizer from the market
THanks Toatman!!
large icon
Glad to help
Does anyone know how to make the icons in the dock of LauncherPro bigger? I have put some icons on my dock but they are too small for my liking. I have searched this board and online for a while, and I haven't found a solution.
I just want my dock icons bigger.
bump - anyway to do this ?
Don't think you can make them bigger. I think the size is 84x84 but if the icons you're using has transparent pixels around it, that would make it seem smaller.
You could try lcd density changer, and just go bigger instead of smaller like everyone else is doing. Default is 240, try 280 maybe.

I'd like to be able to decrease the font size of the Android Notification Area. I'm not really looking to change the entire system wide font size but would if that is the only way.
Are there any patches or apps that have the capability of doing this?
Start developing?... sorry but I don't think any of the major roms for shift have adjustable font sizes in the notification bar but I like the idea... maybe once everything else is worked out that will come around as an option.

Sorry for bringing up this thread, but has one of you found a way to do this (yet) ?
