How do you force roam on a nexus s 4g? I heard roam control doesn't work for Samsung phones.

Roam control v 1.4 was the last working version and really the only way to roam manually

I have downloaded the necessary apk's from the mytouch 4g and sidekick 4g threads, but I now go to the app and it tells me I HAVE to update. Sends me to the market but no update option. I assume because its for a sk4g and not the g2x... anybody have a solution? Thanks in advance!

The only people you'll get 3g with are Wind and mobilicity. Rogers, bell, and fido only 2g.

Yep, but I couldn't even get my old rogers SIM to be recognized by the G2X. (Probably an issue with my sim card.) So, Bell, Rogers, etc. will work without 3G Data. Calls and text will work.
Call and text work fine but whay no 3g and even 2g..
