Hi,
It gets really annoying when I return home and notice that while I was driving I accidentally send some e-mails and made some phone calls to unknown and known people...
This has happened because the BT answer button was pressed, the phone woke up, and it was "touched" in various places making a "costly" mess.
I have also installed S2U with S2A but still the phone wakes up..
How can I stop this???
any help will be appreciated!
PS: I use a Touch Diamond.
I guess either there is not a way to do that, or my mediocre english didn't help anyone understand my problem...
Do you have any third party software installed? If yes, most probably it's due to software incompatibility that caused your diamond to react in this manner.
"HKLM/Software/OEM/VoiceCommand/Path" is what is carried out when the bluetooth button is pressed. Just delete or change the value.
Next time use the q&a section for this type of query.
Hard Keys Not Working
So, I searched and searched, but couldn't find anything that addressed my issue, so here goes...
Yesterday out of nowhere, the hard keys on my ATT Fuze just stopped working (Home, back, call, and hang up). Also, when I press my volume rocker it not only causes the volume screen to fluctuate wildly and not really do anything (but make lots of noise), it also makes the battery screen and the camera program open...
I've done a hard reset, a soft reset, and I have reflashed my old ROM (RRE21725 V3) and just flashed a new ROM (RRE21725 V5). Doesn't matter what I do, the hard keys still won't work and every time I reboot, the volume window opens and flashes a lot, the camera program opens, and the battery page pops up.
I'm going crazy and am finding my phone a bit unusable.
This hasn't happened up until late yesterday. I've never dropped my phone or gotten it wet. I just purchased it back in March.
Help, if anyone can.
hello, sound like the phone itself, i sent mine back about 3 weeks ago, same problem. you can try and flash the att rom, new one is posted on htc's web site and see if that works.

Installed anything recently?
have you tried a reset (soft/hard)?
Put a new screen protector on recently? (might be activating screen elements.)
I see people had this problem for months with different Android phones, but I have to check to see if anything had changed with the Sensation... or is there an app to help... I can't believe nobody handled this serious issue.
When I pair my Sensation with the car audio system via the Bluetooth and answer the call by pressing the button on the wheel, the screen of the phone is unlocked. If I move even slightly, or the car hit a bump on the road, something is pressed and strange things happen. It sometimes ends the call, switch the speakerphone off etc. I need the screen to stay locked while using Bluetooth hands free.
Is there an application that helps in these situations?
I could do with some help,
Basically, I replaced the screen, digitiser and case (was all one unit) today and since then my S3 has been nothing but trouble. The problems im getting are: volume buttons dont work, no sound, cant answer calls, cant use the mic, cant use the camera, wifi stalls, phone vibrates every 10 seconds, restarts alot, cant listen to music. I can however make and receive a few texts and can navigate round the phone without a problem.
Anyone have any idea what has caused this?
All help will be appreciated

ps, all hardware is in good nic and hasnt been damaged
Hello guys, first post here.
So I have this problem with my Z1c: When my headphones are connected, the notification volume goes all the way up and when I am listening to music, the volume of it randomly goes up and down (without me pressing any buttons). Also, the power button stops working, I can't turn the screen off.
I think my phone is recognizing my headphones as a headset (Smart Connect says so) and it thinks I am pressing some non-existent buttons.
I have tried disabling Smart Connect and even factory resetting my Z1c. Neither has solved the problem. Is the headphone jack busted?
By the way, the problem exists with both my in-ears and over-ear headphones.
I haven't found anything online about this particular problem.
Thanks,

Haven't ever used smart connect myself, but there's obviously bugs with it, (quick search turns up pages of complaints on Sony forums). Seems like one of those things they just didn't get right, in general. Since it's persistent after hard reset, my guess is hardware, but just to be clear - when you did a factory reset, it still did the same thing right off the bat, without you adding or tweaking anything, right? Also did you just factory reset, or did you reflash the rom? If it's a problem with the system flash, a reset won't change it.
I would try to reflash system, and see if the same. Also, are you rooted? You can try removing smart connect app, etc. (make a backup)...
Also, have you seen this - https://play.google.com/store/apps/...key&pcampaignid=APPU_1_kgNwWerXJYbf-QHv8Jy4Aw

Thanks for your reply levone,
Smart Connect was working flawlessly for me since i got the phone which was a couple of years ago, but unfortunately these last few days I have run into this problem. My phone isn't rooted, so I can't remove it. (it's a system app)
I just did a factory reset, not a reflash, and it did the same thing right off the bat. I don't know how to reflash, so I'll have to research that if the problem persists.
I will try the Smartkey app, thanks for that.
Alright, I tried Smartkey, the problem is still there. Next I tried reflashing the ROM, the problem is still there .
Next I tried disabling Smart Connect and installing Smartkey on the reflashed phone, just to see if it did anything, it didn't.
So, this must be a hardware problem, right? Headphone jack busted in some way?
Appreciate your thoughts,
Hello,
i had also issues with the headphone jack. In mine were fluffs (lint, dust - not my native language, so sorry for using bad words).
after removing there weren´t any issues.
Greetings
I had the same problem. Replacing the headphone connector was the solution, in my case of course. But you could first try to clean connector. If problem persist you have to change definitely the connector.
