i'm still trying to figure out how to increase font size of incoming calls.
text is just way to small, especially if you're driving and phone is on dash board
i have to squint my eyes or remove phone from dock and pull it up close, all these while driving.
there was a widget/app that said its 'suppose' to able to increase it but tried and tested it and it _does not_ save the font size :/
You can try getting a bold font for your phone. It will however affect all of your phone and not just the lockscreen. I know it doesn't necessarily solve ur problem but i thought it could hold you over until you do get a proper answer.

is there some sort of setting for the time limit of the sms notification bubbles...i want my bubble to stay on screen longer preferrably permanent until i dismiss it....any help would be nice

Whenever I have a incoming call and that person has a picture associated in my contacts, their picture get cut in half. I can see the top of the picture with the number and name. The bottom portion where you slide left to decline, right to accept, and up to text, there's no image behind it. It is just black. But when I answer or decline the call, the entirety of the picture is loaded. This problem doesn't show up when I'm making an outgoing call, just incoming. Anyone have experience the same issue or with any knowledge on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.

Thats how Google designed it ever since Jellybean. No idea who thought that it looked good.
Its a relatively simple fix. Someone just needs to decompile Phone.apk or whatever the current dialer is called and change the black box color to transparent.

Very new to LG Gq D800 model and have a couple of questions. Phone is updated to lollipop and is currently on T-mobile sim. I have two questions:
1. The ringer and notification volumes are so low. Any way to increase them. I saw the mod for earlier android version but nothing for Lollipop. Anyone find a fix?
2. The stock Home launcher looks awesome but my eyes are hurting looking at those icon sizes. The text size on the phone seems fine (eg. messaging app is ok), but the home page icons and their titles are just too small to make out and hurts my eyes. Tried messing with DPI settings but doesnt seem to change those icon title size. Also tried changing text setting to Large font with no joy. Any pointers on what to change? My phone is rooted.

So.. they took our ability to change font size within the messages app with the volume key away, and give no way to change both. I.e, I liked having my conversation size Medium and the text that shows on the main page of messages Medium too. Now if you change within the messages app, it will make the conversation size smaller than the other text. Has anyone found a way to fix this? I'm non-rooted.
hi all,just wondering if there was a way to make the caller picture fullscreen instead of a circle even for unkown numbers,been looking arround to see if it was possible to edit the dialer apk and replace the circle with a simple black solid background but without success.
well,two days and not a sign of an answer or a suggestion!!..looks to me it's not a possible thing to do,so i'll stick to that small ugly circle that appears everytime I call or they call me.
I've noticed that favorite contacts have full screen pictures, others are with small circle.
yes indeed,favorite contacts have that option,the thing is how to make it fullscreen by default for all callers even those that are not on our contacts list.the incallui would have a cleaner and sleeker look I guess.
