Download kg4 and the bali v3.3 kernel for kg4.
odin the kg4 files. Code to pda. Modem to modem. Csc to csc.
Dont use a pit. It made my phone bootloop. tried 3 times. ALl from kf2.
Once you see that it boots to the pink tmobile screen, battery pull or hold power button to turn off. ANd go into download mode.
Proceed to flash the kg4 bali v3.3 kernel. .
congrats you now have cwm.
P.s i am a noob at this myself, but due to the great help of the many people here at xda, i learned alot )))

The KF1/KF2 builds are practically inferior to the GB builds we have now. KG4/KG6/KH1/KH2 actually have the bootloaders and are less of a headache.

Problem solved. Thanks.

1.6 oc stable!!! - This requires Tegrak Overclock
Both are located in the general forum.
I read that. Its too complicated for me. AHahaha. Thats why im asking for a stepbystep. :/. i search before i post

Are you serious?!
Use the huge knowledge base xda forums provide! It's not too complex how overclocking works. I think you are too lazy to get on it.
I don't want to be mean, but if you think that's hard to handle with than I recommend to let your hands away from this kind of stuff.
Rtfm! ;-)

What do you do on your phone that would require overclocking anyway?

I think those are as simple as the guides get to flashing and overclocking. If they're too complicated, then maybe you should consider not making any mods to your phone until you've read enough and feel confident.
The thing is, on tegrak overclock, when i change the level 0 to 1500/1400/1175, it closes and says testing stability. Then when i open tegrak again, nothing changes...
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
You shouldn't really be making the jump from 1000 to 1500 right away as it is. Should be easing your way up. However as long as the phone vibrates and it says checking stability, then it's working.
I definitely agree with FBis251 here. You really don't need anything to be OC'd on this phone. If you don't understand how to OC, you should probably avoid it. However, If you're THAT eager to OC, just gradually bump up the GHz to whichever amount you want.
As for CWM, you'll definitely have to learn how to use it. Here's as simple as it can be said. I'm assuming you know how to get CWM properly, since your OP asks about CWM flashing.
1) Put the ROM you wish to flash in your SD card
2) Boot into CWM
3) Check mounts (UMMU) if you're on orange CWM; you don't need to check it if you're on red CWM
4) Select the ROM you wish to flash
Remember that not all ROMs have the same flashing instructions. While it's okay to be a slow learner, it's not okay to not read carefully here. Please read carefully and try not to clutter the forum with "OMG, I BRICKED" threads. There seems to be more and more these days.
Honestly, if you have trouble understanding these guides, you might want to just stick with whatever you have. Flashing is usually more difficult than just what I mentioned up there. Btw, if you didn't understand how to use CWM, how did you even get KH2 Deodexed?
Sorry if this post made me sound mean, but I just wanted to make it clear for you.
Im on Kf2. not kh2. ahahhaha. And that one was via odin. I wanna learn how to cwm flash so i can use the kh1 or 2. . thanks for the posts guys. Although i dont get it, im constantly reading it over and over again ahahaha.

Looked up a different way. So, i plan on flashing bali kernel 3.3 via CWM. Will it work on my current build?
Stock Deodexed KF2 rooted w/ KH2 modem. :/ nothing customized.

Edit again. Sorry for the spam. But when I flashed kh1 or kh2 via cwm, I got bootloop ((( currently on kf2 deodexed rooted stock gingerbread. Downloaded bali kernel 3.3 then attempted to flash. Flashed successfully then got caught in bootloop help anyone?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
As far as I remember, and I may be wrong at this point, but you can't use flash Bali 3.3 on KH1 or KH2. If you want to flash to KH1 or KH2, then I'd suggest following the steps in this thread.

What happens when you try to get into download mode (holding down both volume keys and plugging USB in without pressing power key? )
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium

Are you familiar with odin
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
yes,i have it on comp.already
phone saya downloading dont turn off target!!!Should sd card and sim card be in phone?because there not.I Thought i did my homework but i was wrong
OK cool. All you need to do then is go to the dev section and find an Odin flashable rom and follow the directions in the thread. What rom were you on when you flashed the Bali kernel?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
I don't think it matters if they are in or not
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
just stock with root tibackup pro
Did you have cwm recovery installed that krylon posted in the dev section?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
I installed rom manager from market.
Rom manager does not work with the sgs4g. Head over to the dev section and grab an Odin fladhable rom. Follow the directions and your phone will be up and running in no time at all. The kc1 rom will give you a completely clean slate to work with. Reroot then go the krylon360s thread cwm final to get the working recovery. From there you can flash the Bali kernel.

should sd card be in phone?also can i leave phone in download mode while i do this. Thanks i app. all the help ill prob.be up late fixing this.
I don't think it matters if SD is in or not and the only way to Odin is in download mode. With Odin running plug your phone into the computer. You will see a block on the left side of the Odin screen turn yellow. Then place the files in the correct spots. The thread you get the rom from will tell you where they belong. Once they are in place hit start on Odin and let it run its course.

thanks going to find rom and get started.
If I can be more help just let me know

Odin the kg4 gingerbread leak. Odin all the files and place them in the correct areas of Odin. Follow the directions and you will be fine. Find it in the dev section or in the bible.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
Thank you verry much. It worked perfectly
after odining that leak, you may want the latest version, it won't wipe data.
Download Kj6 AOSP Style and install it.
do you know if we can get root on any of this roms 2.3.5 or 2.3.6?
Absolutely. Odin one of Dr honks gingerbread kernels. They automatically root and have cwm recovery.

Rooting question

Is there any other ways to root my phone besides the "One-Click-Root" I think it takes to long and I want to root my phone fast. Does z4root still work on.this phone or will it just brick my phone?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda premium
I think z4 works on froyo.....not gb. Just Odin flash one of honks kernels for root and cwm...see dev section.

Read relative links on the Bible link at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1117554 , especially those relating to using Odin to flash for the first time.
Odin is at http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=557757&d=1301649433
GB rooted kernels are at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194032, but you need to flash GB bootloaders through Chadsters KG4 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183413 prior to flashing a GB kernel if you are still on Froyo.
You can also just follow FBis251's guide for getting on GB at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1223765
Froyo kernal ( Bali3.3UV ) is at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1080871
Download and open Odin, pull battery from sgs4g, connect USB, hold both up/down vol buttons while reinserting battery....phone should be in download mode and show up in ODIN. Follow OP instructions for whatever Rom / Kernel you are flashing for which files to place where....don't change any options in Odin...just put the files in correct location and hit start. If you are on Froyo, then maybe start with Bali3.3 to get acquainted with Odin and the SGS4G
If you are not 100% on the process after reading the guides then I would advise to hold off and post your remaining questions on this thread to get the answers you need to be 100%. The whole process is very straight forward once you have done it a few times, but doing it incorrectly can cause problems.
Oh, and never, ever, ever use Rom Manager.

Odin flash a kernel. flashing a modem doesn't gain root. I'm sure that's what you meant though
