Meh, no big deal. NEXUS PRIME is primed up to be the bad boy coming out very very soon, forget the Bionic or the SGS2.
Nexus Prime or HTC Vigor all the way
blazing through on my 4G Droid Charge
Big Red sure hates super-phones.
The Charge is nice, but it isn't a super-phone.
The iPhone 4 is far from it.
Man... Verizon fails again.
We'll have to see how the Nexus Prime goes.

It's being confirmed by Verizon, no SGS2 for Verizon. You can email her to get confirmation:

Here is a response someone else got from her when they asked why Verizon was not getting the SGS2:

I was pretty upset when I found out. Especially since I was planning on selling my Charge to buy the GSII, then selling the GSII to buy the Prime.
What would suck the most is of the Prime DOESN'T come to Verizon. :/
And what about the Samsung Celox? It's almost like a GSII, but with LTE and a Super Amoled HD display.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure Big Red didn't want the SGS2 because the Charge isn't selling all that well(and most people were holding out for the GS2 instead of getting the Charge). Glad I didn't hold out, dual-core is OVERRATED. Only thing I envy is the 1gb ram. Oh lawd I want 1gb ram.

Is it really? I've only used a single core phone before(they load perfect on the Charge with those godly 4g speeds) and if cores on phones are anything like a CPU then they are wasted. Cores are used for multi-tasking plenty of applications or single-tasking core intensive applications and as far as I know there aren't any apps that would require both cores.

Where did you get that info? I'd say that the Charge is probably the best selling 4G phone on Verizon, and if it isn't, then it is definitely the 2nd best selling 4G phone.
The Charge is selling perfectly fine. Its not a blockbuster, but its not a flop either. Its expensive, so that's one thing to consider when looking at the Tbolt. I think the extra money is worth the gorgeous screen on the Charge. Considering I spend a heafty percentage of my time staring at the screen while I use my phone, I consider the screen the second most important component of the phone nipping at the heels of the radios. Motorola has the best radios.... but they don't have an lte device on vzw... yet.

Dual core makes browsing better because it can multi-load 2 things at once on web pages. For example it can load the web script on one core and flash on the other all at the same time. LTE and dual core combined make browsing spectacular. Go try the new Galaxy Tab. It's awesome.

Well, it's not EXACTLY like that, but you get the point. Dual cores just beat the crap out of single cores. My dad's X2 scores like 2500 on Quadrant bone stock with little ram left. My Charge and OG Galaxy Tab are both single core Hummingbirds...and they have NOTHING on the X2, even OC'd and with Voodoo. If you pick up a dual core device you will instantly see the difference. It's smooth as butter.
However, manufacturers had an early problem of the LTE radio toasting dual core processors. My bet is the interference of the 800mhz radio, but i'm no professional. I believe this problem is pretty much solved now.

The frustrations this phone and the Fascinate have caused, I look forward to using a phone from another manufacturer.
Supposedly HTC is coming out with a Note competitor this summer.
I'm actually quite happy how my phone has performed. I haven't had any issues besides a couple of force quits from some apps. They just had bugs in them though. I've had my phone for 7 months and I've been quite happy. Got it right around the Gingy update. I guess I would upgrade if a decent phone came out that had all of the bells and whistles.
The ReZound has almost everything but it's missing a few odds and ends. Still an awesome phone. I find myself playing with my wife's ReZound from time to time. The iPhone 5 almost sounds promising, but I want to see what is going to compete with it once it comes out. I guarantee something awesome is going to blow the iPhone out of the water. Waiting...

Word is that Samsung's quad core exynos is incompatible with US LTE frequencies because they don't make it in that specification or something, which is why the US version will have the s4 like the one x on at&t.

Maybe because they aren't US based companies? Motorola is, and I am pretty sure the US moto phones are released before their international equivalents. Also, US carriers run on different frequencies from everyone else.

Sounds like the US model will be lte.. probably getting the dual core kraits like the One S/X Att model. I have the One S, the only advantage to me would be removable storage of the S3. I prefer smaller screens and the One S form factor is awesome. I think this year's releases from both HTC and Samsung look promising.

Why Idc about the one x+?
Coming from the one S I find the gs3 screen better. It Sucks in daylight but it doesn't bother me. Another thing is battery. They one+ is reportedly rocking the same size battery as the one x. Higher clocked processor with more cores = terrible battery life. Another reason is HTC in general. Coming from the one S I still don't think they even have full s off because Htc hasn't released the source code (last time I check people still couldn't make custom kernels) whereas Samsung released the gs3 instantly. Last reason is the sense ui. It's wack compared to touchwiz Imo.
I make enough money to get a new phone monthly if I wanted to. I won't be buying another Htc branded phone for a while. Not until they get better at supporting the dev community. I'm even still in my 14 day return period and I won't be returning it. Now release a gs3+ with an s4+ pro (quad) and you win me over lol.

Not entirely true. Tegra 3 processors have a 5th core clocked @512mhz that runs all the background stuff if the cores aren't needed...thus giving it a better battery life. And, the GPU made by NVidia is awesome. Our Adreno 225 is just no match...sorry to say guys....but if that one x+ does come out with Tegra 3 and JB right or off the box...looks like I'll be making the jump. I'll still keep my s3 tho...like I do with all my phones.

I was an HTC loyalist before the Galaxy S3 came out and the One S wasn't gonna cut it for me so that's why I pulled the trigger on the Galaxy S3 but little did I know how much I would love this phone! Now I'm not gonna lie, when I found out about the One X+ I was mad, but if you think about it, the X+ will probably not have a removable battery nor a SD Card slot which are deal breakers for me. Sure Tegra 3+ will be amazing because I'm a gamer on the phones, but 2GB of RAM, Removable Battery and SD card slot is too hard to give up! I love my GS3

I'm super happy with my SGS3. If you need high benchmark scores to make you feel like cool kat, then you should probably go with the HTC, however, WE all know that benchmark scores don't mean squat when compared to real world usage. That being said, those of us whom have already grown up are quite contempt with our Samsung phones. Believe me, I used to be a die hard HTC fan, always getting the latest and greatest of all their devices. Although one can only take so much before they just give up all hope and walk away feeling betrayed. After all of the random reboots, frozen screen, crashes, loading screens, glitches and disappointments, I decided that enough is enough HTC has let me down for the last time. I am now a born again Samsung lover, I feel sorry for ever straying in the first place, however, I am more than thankful that the SGS3 has brought me back to where I belong.... Just been reading this, are we expecting too much from the GS4 to have this chip in it?

I'm looking forward to the news about the S4 tomorrow. It's only my 2nd chance at an android phone. The S3 is sweet so far, I see it everyday as my gf has the phone.
I think samsung is going to surprise everyone tomorrow or I will just go with the the Note 2 lol

If it's a snapdragon and an adreno 320 then it's already failed because there are loads of phones like that.
They surely wouldn't advertise the octa chip if it wasn't going in the GS4. However the A7 mixed with the A15 seems like a little bit of a cheat, I bet it uses the A7 95% of the time or the A15 cores are heavily throttled because it looks like they drain battery like mad, especially in a smart phone.

The international version of the S4 will have the 1.6GHz octa-core exynos processor and the US version will have a 1.9GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor

No surprise that they will have different processors.
Normally the USA tends to get the lesser or not the best available

Yeah :l
1.9GHz quad isn't bad, but when comparing it to the octa-core, it feels like we're being left out. And i believe the exynos octa-core is supposed to be substantially more battery efficient(?)

I'm not gonna bother upgrading, both HTC and Samsung aren't exciting, was just disappointed between them.
Exynos = 3G only
Snapdragon s4 pro = LTE
Only LTE isn't coming out till the end of the year in this region.......... wtf were they thinking?
The HTC One is another no micro sd, no removable battery, ****ty camera, sense mess of a boring phone. People say how good it looks........ looks like any other boring HTC phone to me, just like the GS4 looks like another boring Samsung GS3 variant.
