Hey guys thanks to the help of these forums I successfully rooted my aria. I loaded the newest froyo Rom on the forum and even though it was cool and all I could not stand the laggyness even when overclocking. The stock Rom runs so much faster and glitch free. The only feature that I miss from the froyo Rom is the wifi hotspot. Is there a app or work around so that I can have that on the stock Rom.
Thanks in advance, xda is amazing!

^ that works too
Did you try cyanogenmod? You don't get sense but it's well worth it and definitely no lag. Not sure why you had lag with the latest liberated froyo that definitely shouldn't be happening.
It was not that laggy but compared to stock it was.

Has anyone gotten Netflix to work on their phone. I'm running CM RC1, if your running CM please let me know which version you installed. Thanks in advance!
I never got it working on CM7 rc1. I went to EB 1.3 with faux 0.2.7 CM7 ext4 kernel and it works great. DL link below.

which one exactly did you end up downloading?
Oops, wrong link. I tried a bunch of them yesterday. The only one I found that worked with out editing any files is below. I DL'd Red: Netflix-Rotation-Red-C-V1.2.2
i already switched to EB so this may work on CM7.

All the 1.2.2 will work if you edit the build prop if not the have to get apk that spoofs. I'm in CM7 RC1 but did the build prop edit.
I got mine working fine but theres a slight problem ...the video is playing to fast that makes the audio sound like chipmunks

Try running Fix Permissions, then do a hard reboot.
I got Netflix running on my g2x. Just gotta change the build prop. I don't have the link... but Google Netflix build prop htc vision. I tried the others but had the chipmunk sound. This actually worked despite my skepticism.

You can either do it through Rom Manager(near the bottom), or through CWM(in the advanced menu).

Its based on cm7. Netflix has worked on cm7 and cm7 for quite some time.
Does anyone have any idea when Netflix will actually get their act together and release a real solution?
Where did u get the rom
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
You're running Eaglesblood 1.9, not 1.09...BIG difference.
1.x (and now 2.x) versions are 2.3.5 based and netflix works.
1.0x versions are 2.3.3 based, and netflix doesn't work.
Works for stock rom, update available on market now.

Confirmed Xboard Stock tweaked 2.3.3 Works. Pause for a few seconds at start or else video will be slow and eventually will rapidly catch up to sound and it will play perfectly for then on. Small time to buffer should help.

Yep it works on eaglesblood 1.07 2.3.3 rom
Yeah they updated today should work for weapon!

Yup sure does! Thought I would never see the day where I can run hbogo, Netflix, and Bluetooth all on the same ROM.

Updated this morning and working on stock rom. Yeahhhh
G2X & G-Slate
Simple as that, I hate to run stock, but I need hdmi for tv support and dont know which roms support them. Thanks!
None, only eclair does, not GB
Edit: stock GB rom will also but custom GB roms with custom kernels Will Not!
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
I believe only the Vagabond ROM supports HDMI because it runs a stock kernel. Other than that all other ROMs do not support it.
i thought the Froyo roms would because they were all based on stock roms and kernels?
as far as i know the hdmi/bluetooth issues didnt begin until GB ports
I got the infused 2.2.1, last update, 1.6 I think. HDMI works great.

The Infused ROM does indeed works great. Don't change anything if your phone is running perfectly the way you want it.

I like the newer, faster roms, don't get me wrong. I just need things to work. Had a girl friend in grade school, she was in high school -- older is better.
Is it just me or does this make no sense?

It's just you.
I just updated to the march 2012 baseband, it is running T-Mobile stock 2.3.4 android v21y. With this new baseband, will the other ROMs in the G2x development forum work?
EDIT: CM 7.2 RC 3 works now... get.cm
Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2
Anything with v21y in it yes those are stock based custom roms, where as cm7/9 will not

Supposedly CM7 does now

Thanks.
I downloaded the CM 7 RC3 build and installed. Works perfectly. In call audio works, GPS still works (althought it took like 30 seconds the first time), data works. And all CM features are there. Make sure that after you also install google apps for market, proper connection to google account etc.
Quick Question
I cant find the 27th nightly. Does everything work properly because i have the new BB and 2.3.4 and want to get a working rom such as cyanogen with no problems. Also which is the RC3 you are speaking of CM7.2.0 RC3 2012-05-26 16:53:23? Which is better for my system the Stable version or rc3 version. Thank you.

Kinda old thread if you want cm go with 7.2 stable and if you want a custom rom that's not compatible with the new bb just flash this zip by owain right after you flash the rom http://db.tt/fC1QynNS.... Please note that any rom other than stock won't have bluetooth calling and there's no know fix yet

working ics 4.0.4 (call audio, no BT)
Hey! I have a working ICS using the ICS EB4.0.4 is confirmed to have call audio and text messaging does work, however I believe that Bluetooth may still be an issue. I made a guide for it.
